"They scheduled quickly and were on-time. Two very nice and professional gentlemen arrived, explained exactly what they would do, and mentioned some other services, but no hard sell on anything. They were extremely neat, quiet and efficient.

"Very professional and helpful. We originally only paid for the air duct but then decided to do the dryer vent after they explained what could potentially be in there. Needless to say, it was well worth.

"Two men showed up and attached an outgoing coil tubing to a vent that was connected to the truck. Then he went to every vent and for 20 seconds blew air into the vent and during those twenty seconds he opened s valve on the hose which was supposed to sanitize the duct. He did the same to all the vents in the house. Supposely, the outgoing coil tubing had a vacuum which took the particles he was blowing from each vent.

"The service was done thoroughly. When they came in, the main vac attached to the machine to one of the air ducts by the foyer then they started cleaning the upstairs air ducts and returns, checked on the a/c filters and dryer's air duct which did not need cleaning. The service took about an hour. We are satisfied with the service and highly recommend them.

"Two gentlemen arrived on time in their service window from 9 to 11. They were polite, and after a walk through they set to work. The process I outlined above was fairly

. Unscrew all the vents, hook up suction & blower machinery, and inspect ac. There were a few added bonuses as I see it.
1) They inspected the ac (in the big deal contract but I forgot), and taped & puttied up a leaky seam (FREE). He also took a picture with his phone (neat trick) of the ac blower fan to show me that it was comparatively clean.
2) He was cool with me hopping up on my computer desk & ladder to undo a vent. It is my house after all, but some contractors don't like it when I jump up to do something. I imagine those contractors have liability concerns, but I'd rather break my computer than one of them.
3) When re-installing the drop vents he used all new screws with 2 inch hex/screwdriver combo heads. It's a small thing, but I greatly enjoy having uniform parts instead of playing the gopher this or that correct tool game.
4) Advice beyond just "change the filter". He explained keeping my ac off during Spring & Fall when I like to keep my windows open may potentially grow mold in the ducting. That's good to know, so I'll just turn on the ac fan a few times during those seasons.
The only thing I didn't get was to see what they sucked out of the ducting. I imagined a clear drum I could look into like some vacuum cleaners. They explained that "to see" what was being sucked, they'd have to open up the machine to show me the filter aka "a pain". So didn't do that.
Overall, meh. They told me my system was "normal" as in fairly clean. I didn't have chunks of insulation, drywall, or other big stuff in the ducting. They said that only really happens when rats get into the ducting. I could vacuum the drop vents on my own if I wanted to. What the $150 big deal really paid for was the specialized equipment, guys who knew what they were doing, and mental reassurance. By "mental reassurance" I mean do a little work and that little work is the inspection, which come to find out the ducting is fine.
I wouldn't pay more than the Angie's List big deal of $150 for this again, unless I or family develop allergy problems. It was a good inspection and they did good quick work.

"Good. The two young men that came out were on time and courteous. They were actually wanting to do more (not less) than I wanted with the FP. The main thing for me was to make sure the chimney flue was clear and safe... and it was after inspection and some minor cleaning. The tech wanted to take out all the fireplace logs and thoroughly clean that part... but because we use gas and the logs and all contents are decorative, I told him it was not needed... but appreciated the offer. The dryer vent was full of stuff as the other tech vacuumed up the vent shaft at its exit point on the roof. The only thing I would have liked... and perhaps I should have asked... was for the dryer to be pulled out and the vent shaft cleaned at that end too. I did it myself... but I know their suction
machine indubitably has more cleaning power. Again... maybe next time & if possible.
Sorry for the delay on my review. Angie's List has a relentless reminder system... and as a good citizen of the List... I should post reviews be they good or bad. I think this outfit a good one from my experience and perspective...so thumbs up! Be safe! Clean your chimney flue and dryer vent… prevent forest fires... and stay in school! :-)

"Very happy. Two employees showed up within the time they stated (8:00am-11:00am) and the work was done quickly. They pulled two of the vents off in the kitchen because they suspected mold growing in them, which it was. We discussed the price for cleaning and disinfecting all the vent covers in the house, but he said we'll hold off on deciding that until he sees how bad it was elsewhere. The ones in the kitchen and one in our master closet had mold, which I suspect was from an air-conditioner

overflowing a few years ago, as they were all centered in the same area. Otherwise everything else looked fine, so they said that we really didn't need that service and were nice enough to wash and scrub the moldy covers they found without charge. I really appreciate their honesty and integrity, as any other service would have just sold us the extra cleaning charge. A very positive point for these folks!
