"Our inside A/C unit went out about 6 or 7 years ago. I don't remember how I came about getting in touch with Expert Tech's but they came out, surveyed the job, provided me with an estimate, and I gave them the job. The work crew that came to do the install seemed like they knew what they were doing, I later decided this might not be true. We had electrical issues after the install that took several services calls to fix. To protect myself (so I thought) from their seemingly shoddy work I signed up for their ongoing service contract which costs about $20 a month. At first the techs would come out twice a year and really do a good job inspecting and cleaning the system. That didn't last long. It wasn't long until the only thing they wanted to come by for was to try and sell me something I didn't need. The last guy that came (and he will be the last) discovered a leak in my coil. This is the same coil that Expert Techs has replaced 6 or 7 years prior. He spent an hour trying to sell me a new A/C unit. He kept asking me if he could speak to my wife and I to discuss a new A/C system. He kept telling me how the install that was done before was all wrong, even though it was his company that did the install. If these guys would have continued to clean and inspect the unit like they were suppose to, instead of just trying to sell me things I didn't need, maybe the leaking coil would have been prevented or found while the unit was still under warranty. I keep forgetting to stop the payment on my ongoing service contract with these guys. I found out after the guy supposedly found a leak in my coil that their service contract is a complete rip-off and doesn't cover

"Set an appointment immediately. Unfortunately, we had terrible rains and they had to reschedule, which wasn't a problem for me. I had told them I HAD to have the cat to the vet by 11 am. They were over an hour late for the appointment, which had me extremely nervous and upset.This was after they had called and said they would be there at the appointed time. Ultimately, they did finish on time and did an excellent job. I was getting ready to have the "popcorn" removed from my ceiling and they suggested storing the vents until the ceiling was finished. I would have never thought of that, so was appreciative. Except for the very late arrival, they were polite, professional and did a good job."
