Oral Surgery Reviews in Salt Lake City

He is nice, efficient and doesn’t hurt me. His office environment is good. His staff members are always there at the time and if I get there a little earlier then I get through a little earlier.

It's really easy to schedule, however, I will say that Dr
is very popular because he is so skillful and pleasant which makes scheduling a little tricky. Suggest that you schedule in advance. He will see his current patients emergently, if needed. Many of my friends, that I have referred has asked if he uses gas. I keep meaning to ask him, but always forget. I don't use gas, so would suggest that you ask before scheduling, if that is important to you.

I had a crown for 10 years on my very front right tooth, Knocked it out years ago. It needed replacing. The Dr. was very helpful and friendly, listened to my fears and concerns, and they were good about sedation. HOWEVER. After I'd been sent to the endodonitist to have the initial surgery there started the communication issues. I told them I absolutely did NOT want to have a

tooth than the other teeth in my mouth as I was not interested in bleaching my other teeth to match for the rest of my life. They sent my mold into the lab and it came back too white. But they put it in my mouth ANYWAY! The doctor looked right at the nurse and said, "

, are we doing whitening on this one?" and she looked at him and said, "No" and then he put it in my mouth anyway and says, "don't worry we'll make you some whitening trays and it will be just fine!" Then the tooth came loose. Just 5 days after the surgery and its always been a little loose. I was so mad about the color that I just let it go. THEN a month later I get this notice in the mail saying they were going to send me to a creditor if I didn't pay $150.00 for the surgery. This is rediculous because everything was supposed to be covered. I called and there was just a missunderstanding from their end about the insurance and how to enter me. Then I get this call a week later saying I never paid. But I wasn't supposed to pay - my insurance was - but they were hounding me. So i went in and paid EXTRA just so they would stop calling me and I wouldn't get accidentally sent to a creditor. The whole time I have this non-matching, loose tooth in my mouth. So last week (5/10/2010) I am eating pineaple and my fake crown FELL APART. I don't mean fell out, I mean it litterally fell into pieces. Needless to say I was horrified. I've also only had this tooth for little over one year, and insurances will only pay for a crown every 5 years on the same tooth. So now I am facing this huge dental bill of about $2000.00 for the replacement of a tooth that didn't match, was super loose, and shouldn't have been in my mouth in the first place, that I paid too much for! The really horrible part? I get married in 4 weeks!

It is fair to say at the outset, that this review is going to be helpful only for the thin-skinned, the faint of heart and those people who do not enjoy a bare knuckled hair pull . I gave the experience a D and not an F because one of the women I spoke to was very pleasant and because the Doctor was recommended and I never met him - nor did we choose to have him perform the surgery. I made the appointment for my daughter and she went into the appointment alone. I planned to meet her but the appointment ended before I was able to get there. Her concern about the visit was that it was very brief and it was her impression that Dr

seemed bewildered about why she was there and spent around five minutes talking to her. When we got the bill $40 for a "consultation" and $80 for an x-

charge because my daughter had a

xray, I didn't question the consultation fee because I didn't feel I knew enough about the visit and obviously there would be a fee for the visit. The woman who answered the phone agreed to work with me on the bill and I sent what I thought was payment in full. Later I got a bill for the balance and called the office again to explain the basis of my first payment. This was a different person the "office manager" who said that it wasn't fair to the other patients for me to pay a different amount and that they'd agreed to a lower amount because I'd "made such a fuss." Concerned that the first person had gotten in trouble for working with me, I tried to explain the basis for my initial call. She responded angrily and suggested maybe I should have come to the visit with my child. I said I was on my way, she continued - raising her voice and I finally ended the call after realizing that no reasonable discussion was possible. Two days later I opened a letter from the office demanding full payment of the balance and threatening legal action- I think against my daughter- if payment wasn't received by their office the next day (Sunday). I wrote a check. Did I back down? Yes I did. Did I let this pettiness affect me? Absolutely. I caved. But the reason I caved and paid what I thought was an unfair charge was to avoid the kind of people who escalate the unpleasantness. As I said, the only kind of person for whom this review matters is someone who desires to avoid the kind of experience I had.

He does extremely good work. When you're out of his office, your teeth are totally clean. They do a good quality job. He is just really good at what he does. He has a dental hygienist who cleans your teeth; he does the detail work, such as drilling. His hygienists are great just like him.
