Moving Reviews in Salt Lake City

I reached out to the owner on Sunday June 15th about a moving bid and possible moving dates. He answered his phone, was very nice, and said to complete the estimate form on his website (which I did at that moment) and he would call me back after he reviewed my information. I did not hear from him. On Wednesday June 18 I called him. He picked up and said he was really busy and finishing up a move that would take him late in the evening and that he would try to get to my request later the next day. I told him that I wanted to use him because of all the good reviews online through Angie's list and that his company looked reliable. He said he always wants to make sure he gives the best service possible. I believed him. I still think he is a decent, I am actually surprised that he has still not contacted me. Because it is now 6 days later and I have not heard from him I am considering using another company.

They were excellent from the start. The estimator left me with a printed copy of the estimate, which he said might be high as he did not want any suprises for the customer. He knew exactly what needed to be done, was clear about storage conditions and moving expectations.
The movers came when they said they would and were extremely careful. They took apart all my Scandinavian furiture being careful to put the screws and bolts back in the holes for easy reassemble. All artwork was put in mirror cases, all fabric furniture wrapped in
wrap and everything seemed to go smoothly. We are on the 10th floor so this is not an easy move. My electronic piano went into piano storage.
I was dreading this experience, but it went much better than I expected. Way to go

Moving reviews in Salt Lake City

Was prompt for estimate and could accommodate our time frame. Got back to us with an estimate but did not provide us with an itemized estimate and wouldn't do so when asked. He then called back 2 days later and the price had gone up almost $400 from the original estimate

These guys were great. We wanted to move on the Friday before Memorial Day, so I thought it might be difficult finding a mover. I called them up and within an hour

was at our apartment providing us an estimate. When the day came, they showed up on time (early in fact) and were very nice and professional. All told, the move took about 3 hours. As far as I can tell, nothing was damaged or scratched in the course of the move. The price was very reasonable too. Hopefully, we won't be moving again any time soon, but if we have to, I will definitely use

This is the second time we have used these movers and they are terrific.
They are professional, HAPPY and fun to work with. They never complain.
They never slow down and they are willing to work long and hard. They moved out of our house ,stopped at two storage units, moved
things in and out and then arrived at our new residence--a 3rd floor walk up with no elevator.
They moved our things in and moved the tenants out of the condo ---simultaneously. Again, no complaints about the stairs or the heavy
chests etc.
They were very careful with our belongings. I trust them.

I will never use anyone other than

their rates are very reasonable also!!

I was very pleased with this company overall. I own an antique pool table that has been in my family for generations and I was leery about just having anyone work on it. So I did my research and found that this company had amazing reviews, fortunately they were all correct. I called and spoke with

. He walked me through the steps of picking out the color and grade best suited to my needs. He gave me realistic expectations and educated me until I felt comfortable. His crew was about ten minutes late but sometime did call to advise me. When they arrived they were courteous and confidant. My table looks amazing and I couldn't be happier. I wish me company's would operate like this one. 5 stars!

We have moved often and several times in Salt Lake City recently. They were the best by far that we have ever used. They were professional, prepared, careful, creative, and fast! Their price was well below competitors bids. They solved some difficult issues, and cheerfully did everything we asked them to do. They worked hard, swiftly, and yet cautiously. We have recommended them to everyone we know.

It was worth every penny. These movers know what they are doing! Each item was transferred into the home without damage. Absolutely amazing how they can work large pieces of furniture around tricky

They arrived on-schedule and moved furniture and appliances of a 2100 sq ft home. Loading the truck took the three guys about three hours. Some items took quite awhile to move out because of very tight fits and a very heavy and awkward treadmill. Arriving at the new home, the unload was about 2 hours and then loaded up some old appliances that were in the new house and took them to the old house (another 1/2 hr). All told, about 5.5 hours of moving with three guys for $635. For the most part they were careful with the stuff, though two pieces suffered some damage. A 1" chunk of wood was taken out of the top of a big desk and a small

was put in the front door of a refrigerator - both damages happened during the unload when the crew was tired from the morning. That is my only complaint here, since it is a time-based fee rather than a fixed cost to move they try to keep moving and by the end of the move, the physical exhaustion takes its toll.

The process of scheduling an initial meeting and getting an estimate was smooth and went quickly. The price estimate was competitive. The actual move was not so great. In addition to finding scratches and dings months later on multiple pieces of furniture, the main problems were as follows: First, the truck was wrong, which necessitated all kinds of extra trips, loading and unloading, and much more time than estimated. The size of the truck effected how and where our belongings were stored in between houses, and there was a huge difference in price. After a fair amount of negotiating and follow up we kept to the original price, which was only right since all the problems were on their end. However, rather than one load and unload, all our stuff was loaded, and reloaded, first at our home while they tried to fit things into a too-small space, and then at their storage facility, and then again onto a truck to deliver to our new house. The extra handling was quite obvious and our furniture suffered. In addition, the movers did some damage to the house we were moving out of, breaking floor tiles, scratching and gouging out walls, and in one case smashing in the drywall. We submitted a claim to have the damages repaired and I assume (since we never heard back from our buyers) that the repairs were completed satisfactorily. However, it was one more waste of my time to document the damage, fill out the forms, and follow up with the company.
On move in day at our new house the truck was an hour and a half late (something about them having the wrong phone number or whatever, which again, they'd been given at least 3 numbers so...) but the unloading went quickly. Because of the screw up with the truck size, the movers had taken apart various pieces of furniture and exercise equipment (that originally were going to be moved intact) and most of it we had to reassemble ourselves. One mover, who basically refused to carry anything heavy (I heard him myself and also heard his coworkers complaining about him) was given the task of putting our treadmill back together and he quite literally just placed each part in the area that it needed to go and then put the covers over top, leaving everything unbolted/screwed and the entire thing in pieces. Because of the placement in the house, the treadmill-in-pieces ended up blocking off most of our basement, and we didn't have the tools (or the time) to put it back together. After numerous phone calls to the office,

did send someone out to reassemble the treadmill and to fix the stripped bolts that were a result of either disassembling it or the ridiculous pretense of reassembling it.
All in all, what started off as a very promising experience turned out to be a bit of a nightmare.

did address each problem as they happened, more or less, but the effort it took to make sure we weren't overcharged, to make sure the damage done to our old house wasn't left for the new home owners, to get our own belongings put back together, not to mention the dents and scratches that we're still finding... I would not hire

again, nor would I feel comfortable recommending them to a friend.
