"The work went pretty well. We had a couple of problems with weather so things didn't get going until later than we wanted but overall I was very pleased."

"Purchasing: he came down a lot in price, but wanted to close in 3 weeks. Our inspectors & financing were ready, but he could not finish all the loose ends. He delayed closing 3 times and even defaulted (we signed but it took him another two weeks to finish). He whined about providing a microwave despite agreeing to it in the purchase contract. There were numerous liens on the property from companies and contractors that had not received payment for their work and our title company demanded receipts for payment of all new work done on the house in the past 30 days. After closing he was nowhere to be found for the keys (we were rekeying the place anyways). After moving in several other issues came up: no hot water to the kitchen faucet, plugged washer drain, leaking kitchen plumbing, no closet door guides, creaky floors, flaking tub grout & concrete driveway, gloss varnish on slippery decks, etc. All in less than a month! Never returns our calls for the "1 year warranty" he promised."
