He was very professional and immediately went to work fixing our carpet. The job took a little more than an hour and he was careful to clean up when he was finished. I was very happy with the results."

"We have a large (5 room) basement, and the floor was covered with poorly-laid slate tile. We didn't know what to do with it, so called in several companies for advice/estimates. 
gave us the best advice -- to remove all the tile and restore/upgrade the original concrete floor. The owner ( ) was especially helpful. His workers spent two full days hammering away at the tiles and carting them off to the landfill. There followed another day or two of grinding and cleaning, then applied a beautiful stain to the concrete, followed by a sealant. Because it was 50 year-old concrete, he came back a week later and applied an extra coat of sealant, with a promise to do more if needed. It looks beautiful and we're happy as can be!"

"I met with and he arrived on time. We discussed a couple of options. His price was comparable, but slightly less than other estimates. We scheduled the work. He and his employee showed on time at the start of the job. described the work to be done to his worker. The schedule was a half day for the initial sanding, and then coats of finish applied over the next 3 days, and then the molding. The young man doing the work was able to finish a day early. He was polite and worked hard, but did leave stuff around my yard and in the home. Bigger equipment was left to block the room off I suppose, but there were some buckets, etc. left around outside. Otherwise, he was clean and kept dust to a minimum. came by the following week to check the work and collect the balance. He discussed suggestions for protecting the floor. I had no trouble getting along with either of them."

"I was originally going to perform this work myself, but I was running out of energy after a long remodel project. I had 2 companies give us a quote. got the job b/c they didn't want to proceed with the less-than-best-practice shower that the plumber had installed. Young recommended we pull it out and start over and the other company did not mention it. I new that Young was correct that there was a better way. They did not want to give a firm bid b/c the tile was handmade and had variation in size. It was not mounted in sheets, so the labor was higher than typical jobs. We agreed to pay for time and materials. In all it took about 8 person-days to perform the work. They were very clean and very professional. You may be able to find a contractor for less money, but we are very happy and think the peace of mind was worth it."

"From the beginning of the job they were late every step of the way. Outside of delays caused by plumbers and electricians, they promised a 12 week time period and it went from through December. The project manager walked off the job (as well as others), leaving me to find others to finish the details. The tile in the bathroom is uneven, cabinets had to be redone; the communication between those working on the job was non-existent and people were consistently quitting which threw the deadline off even more. I am now missing phone lines and cable outlets in my office and downstairs. The plumber threw away all my information on the whirlpool tub, and the platform promised for the washer and dryer was never completed."

"The floor is great, install of the the first piece was great. However, the piece for the playroom was on backorder, and pushed back several times, not something they can control, but each time the date came up, no one would call, and I would have a tough time getting hold of anyone that could tell me what was up. And then when the floor finally did come in, no one called, I had to call. So the product was good, the install was fine, but the communication was horrid!"
