tooth than the other teeth in my mouth as I was not interested in bleaching my other teeth to match for the rest of my life. They sent my mold into the lab and it came back too white. But they put it in my mouth ANYWAY! The doctor looked right at the nurse and said, "

, are we doing whitening on this one?" and she looked at him and said, "No" and then he put it in my mouth anyway and says, "don't worry we'll make you some whitening trays and it will be just fine!" Then the tooth came loose. Just 5 days after the surgery and its always been a little loose. I was so mad about the color that I just let it go. THEN a month later I get this notice in the mail saying they were going to send me to a creditor if I didn't pay $150.00 for the surgery. This is rediculous because everything was supposed to be covered. I called and there was just a missunderstanding from their end about the insurance and how to enter me. Then I get this call a week later saying I never paid. But I wasn't supposed to pay - my insurance was - but they were hounding me. So i went in and paid EXTRA just so they would stop calling me and I wouldn't get accidentally sent to a creditor. The whole time I have this non-matching, loose tooth in my mouth. So last week (5/10/2010) I am eating pineaple and my fake crown FELL APART. I don't mean fell out, I mean it litterally fell into pieces. Needless to say I was horrified. I've also only had this tooth for little over one year, and insurances will only pay for a crown every 5 years on the same tooth. So now I am facing this huge dental bill of about $2000.00 for the replacement of a tooth that didn't match, was super loose, and shouldn't have been in my mouth in the first place, that I paid too much for! The really horrible part? I get married in 4 weeks!"

His dental hygienist is one of the best in the west in her trade. I've had two small cavities taken care of by Dr. S. He was ...more quick, thorough, and very concerned that I feel nothing during the procedure. With that in mind, I would not recommend scheduling any work on your teeth before eating events. Drinking from a can with half your mouth numb is quite a mind-warp, but that was my fault, not the Doc's. You pay your co-pay as you leave the office, and any additional payment needed is billed about two-months later. Invoices are always extremely reasonable."

"Fine. Every time I go I have to wait about 10 minutes in the little lobby area. His office is small, in the downtown area, and has a great view with lots of good magazines to read while you wait. His office staff and environment is pretty old-school, it's not high tech here, but you get a lot of personal attention. The dentist himself, Dr. ...more , is super chatty, so if you don't like chattiness he is not the guy for you. He has a quirky sense of humor and will talk to you the whole time he's working on you. He does his own teeth cleanings, not a dental hygienist. That's pretty rare these days. "
