What services do you offer?

Jay Bagwell: "We do surface restoration for bath and kitchen countertops, showers, tubs, sinks, tile, cultured marble, fiberglass and porcelain. We also do handicap accessibility modification on tubs."

Matt Pams: "We resurface tubs, countertops, cabinets - everything."

Jim Daneals: "We refinish tubs, tile and kitchen countertops. We also do tub conversions and install liners."

What's the advantage of refinishing a tub rather than replacing it?

Jay Bagwell: "First and foremost is the cost. The time factor is No. 2. You can refinish a tub in a day, whereas replacement takes several days."

Matt Pams: "Downtime is the biggest one. It's two days for refinishing a tub instead of two weeks - or, in some cases, two months - for replacing it. It's also very cost-effective."

Jim Daneals: "Refinishing takes three hours. You also don't have the cost of pulling the tub out."

Are there any type of tubs you can't refinish?

Jay Bagwell: "No. We can even refinish plastic."

Matt Pams: "We can resurface anything."

Jim Daneals: "I can do any tub."

How do you charge for the job and what's the average price range?

Jay Bagwell: "A standard tub that needs very little repair work runs about $445."

Matt Pams: "A standard tub is $295."

Jim Daneals: "A standard tub is $359."

What type of paint do you use and what colors can people choose from?

Jay Bagwell: "We use a high-quality, high-solids polyurethane. They can choose any color they want."

Matt Pams: "We use a polyacrylic urethane. We can get any color they want, but I typically use white or almond."

Jim Daneals: "We use acrylic urethane in any color you can think of."

What makes your company different or better than the competition?

Jay Bagwell: "The biggest factor is our proprietary bonding agent. Miracle Method pioneered chemical bonding in 1979. We will polish, sand and buff the tub so that it looks like a new tub."

Matt Pams: "Quality is very important for us. We also take care of our clients and we give them a lot of information."

Jim Daneals "Honesty and experience. I've been doing this for 23 years. It's my business and I want to make sure it's good. Do it once and do it right."
