The process of cleaning my heating system was explained when they gave me an estimate for the work. The process took around three hours to complete and really is quite involved. From what I was able to see, the vents looked almost brand new and smelled fresh and clean, even though they are 53 years old and had never been cleaned. The furnace looked great after it was cleaned, too. There was a great deal of construction dust and debris from a remodel in the system.

They were very careful as well, including putting down protectors to prevent any damage to the walls when they brought the big vacuum hose in from outside. Before they left, they even fixed a problem that was not their fault and that they had no obligation to fix, so in that sense they went above and beyond what was expected. They were also happy to stop and answer questions at any time during the process. I got many different bids for the job through ServiceMagic, and the prices I was quoted were all over the map. I wound up going with because, even though they were the most expensive, they were one of only three companies in my area who showed up on the National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) website as having certifications, and moreover they had certifications for multiple employees. The other two companies with NADCA listings had either gotten bad or no reviews here on Angie's List at the time, so I did not bother with them. In the process of getting bids, one company claimed to be NADCA certified, but was not listed on the website at all. So, if you care about the training and professionalism of the people performing air duct cleaning for you, is the way to go, and even if you don't care about the certifications, you will not regret hiring them. I would most certainly do so again!"

"This is a fantastic company! I can't say enough about how well I was treated, how professional they were, and how caring they were as well. I moved into this house over the summer. About the time I turned on the heating system, I came down with which persisted for 2.5 months before I had the ducts cleaned. I called a few companies, but none were willing to take the extra step of sanitizing the ducts and had the ability to look inside the ducts with a camera to see if there was mold or anything unusual. really cared about doing a good job and they even left the filter in my house to make sure the air was clean after their service. One week after the ducts were cleaned, my went away. I have been hive free for one full week. Another thing to mention, I felt comfortable leaving the house while they were there, and they offered the two different types of duct cleaning methods whereas some other companies only offered one type."

"They arrived on time and were very professional and focused on the work. They did a thorough job and cleaned up after themselves. The price was very reasonable, especially considering that the ducts had NEVER been cleaned and were filthy. Although this is their busiest time of year (December, early winter when furnaces first come on) it was no problem to get an appointment. I plan to have them come every year."
