, owner and on-site contractor worked well to keep the project on schedule. If there was questions, he was right there to provide answers and many times offered great suggestions. if you noticced something you didn't like, he would address it immediately. He is a task master, and as such, the project moved along at a steady pace to the projected compeletion date. As an example, after the contract was completed, I noticed a small plumbing problem in one of the bathrooms, called
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and the next morning, 8 AM sharp,
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his plumber were at my door and problem was soon fixed.

"I needed several small jobs done, some of which required varied skills in excess of what a handyman could handle. Very happy to find
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his assistant who were more than qualified, so i could avoid calling plumber, electrician etc., and the cost was probably half of what that would've cost=great value. Scheduled the two of them for a half day complete the four jobs. All four were done and cleaned up by the time I came home. The shower shelves were an add on to a recent bathroom remodel by a different contractor, who installed the first two shelves, but
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
's install was noticeably cleaner (no chipping around the drill holes). One small issue with a leak where the water filter tied into the supply line was due to faulty hardware (he may have used a cheap fiiting), but he sent his guy over right away to repair /replace. No problems since. Good communication skills and responsiveness are a big plus. I will definitely get my first bid on a planned kitchen remodel from

"The remodel took approximately seven months. I lived in the home during the remodel and
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
made sure I was as comfortable as I could possibly be during the remodel.
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
is very detail-oriented which I appreciate. I had several questions during the remodel and he answered all of them thoroughly and in a language I could understand. The sub-contractors were knowledgeable, reliable and did excellent work.

"I found I could poke a hole in the bottom wood step of the six steps leading to the front porch of our bungalow. I also found signs of dry rot in one of the porch columns. I used an Angie's List coupon to hire
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
of
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
agreed to replace the step and check the column. He also agreed to install a garbage disposal.
When he opened the column, he found dry rot extending nearly to the top of the porch. He suggested that we check the other column. The dry rot was nearly as bad in that one. He also found rot in the porch risers. He showed us the bad wood, allowing us to examine it closely. He gave us an estimate of 2100 to 2400 to replace both columns and the six steps, plus install the garage disposal.
I got two other bids that were about the same as
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
's. I decided to go with
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
because Mr.
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
didn't try to pressure us into hiring him and because he was open about the problems he encountered.
He estimated 3-4 days to complete the work. He said he would concentrate on our job because the steps were our major access to our home. At end end of each day, he installed temporary steps for us to use. He finished the job in 3 days. He successfully installed the garbage disposal on the 4th day.

"VERY IMPRESSED. He came to the rescue when another contractor backed out on a promise to complete work this week, and he stayed into the very late hours of the night to finish the work. As my home is 80+ years old there are always quirks when doing improvement work. He was able to think outside the box when needed to get the job done and I was very impressed with the quality of his work. I also really enjoyed working with him, and feel like I have finally found a go-to contractor for all my home improvement needs.
You will not be disappointed if you hire

Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was very responsive, he offered advice and suggestions. This is my first home and
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was professional and kept me updated to progress. He worked long hours to get the job completed so I could move in on time. I would recommend

to my friends and family. His estimate of cost was on target. There were no

costs at the end of my project.

"He was extremely professional and timely. He paid great attention to detail and was able to finish all of the jobs on or before the estimated completion date. He was able to complete the build-out in our storage area within 2 days, which then underwent a vigorous health and building inspection, and passed. He worked hard, and never complained. We would confidently recommend him to anyone and will definitely be using him for any further repairs or remodeling done at the restaurant, or within our home.

"The short story - great value for price, wonderful workers, every night work site clean and tidy, job completed timely, our (contractor, my husband and my) shared vision was created, end product better than we expected. Would we use
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
's company again - you bet, We hope to use them again to re-do one of our shower areas....more /> The details:
I spoke to several contractors, selected from Angie's List. We selected
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
's company because he listened to what we wanted, was forthcoming about potential unknowns - upgrading the electricity to code and our concern for possible subfloor damage, told us that drawings and permits were necessary in
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
, when he would be able to start our job and that he felt he could do what we wanted within our planned budget.
Prior to the work beginning we received a written contract that included the work to be done and when and how payment was due to him.
Tear down:
Tear down was done quickly- all the original wooden cabinets, tile counters, soffits, appliances, under cabinet mounted vent and florescent lighting. When I came home everything was done, the worksite cleaned up, swept up and tidy and the rest of the house protected from dust. Of course, that's when the spaghetti mess of old electrical wiring was exposed and visible.
Electrical:
The electrical system in the kitchen was upgraded by
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
who was our primary on-site "Foreman." He did a great job of giving us more electrical boxes, upgrading the wires, re-confirming how we wanted our under cabinet lighting to look, etc. My husband was present when the City Inspector came and there were no issues passing his inspection.
Lighting:
It was at this point that we were told our ceiling was incorrectly supported. It seems a previous owner had raised a portion of the ceiling and added florescent lights. The lumber he used was over sized, caused 2 cracks in the ceiling, and the raised area was out of level by almost 1 inch. (I did confirm the "remuddling" by my neighbor). It was
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
to the rescue again. Down came the ceiling, up went correct sized supports, a new smooth ceiling went back up with plenty of "pot" light. The new ceiling was the first completed part of the project.
Plumbing, gas line and floor patch:
As I recall, next was the plumbing done by Bill - plumbing for new dishwasher and new location, water line for new refrigerator with ice machine, and gas lines for gas
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
top . Later, Bill fixed our flooring. We had elected to keep the flooring because it extended into the family room. When the cabinets were added we need to have the floor "patched." Bill did a meticulous job and we would dare anyone to be able to pick out what was already there and what was newly placed.
Appliances:
We picked out our own appliances after
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
gave us some great ideas to help same some money. We checked Consumer's Report and looked at several stores. We ended up selecting a suite of appliances from
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
's
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
Elite (were we told they are actually manufactured by LG). The sink, faucet and free standing vent came from specialty stores.
Drywall:
As DIYers, we've never hung drywall. Frankly, I was a little taken aback when I saw the drywall up and taped. I was concerned that the gaps between the drywall boards looked too wide. I didn't say anything because by that time I already knew that if I wasn't happy
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
would correct any problems. When the walls were done, I specifically tried to find the areas I was concerned about and ran my hand over everything. The walls are smooth and look better than every other wall in my house! There is a small eating area next to the kitchen that wasn't being remodeled. It had a wall that the previous owner/Remuddler had "fixed."
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
took extra time to smooth that wall out so it matched the new walls.
Cabinets:
We had decided to put in new cabinets because our old cabinets had stationary shelves, bottom corner units lacked the ability to add shelves or lazy-
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
type devices to make them effective, and to regain the area near the ceiling/soffit space. We did loose some upper cabinet space so that the view from the eating area would not be obstructed by cabinets and to show case the new freestanding vent hood.
Prior to the final selection of cabinets,
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
spoke with us about moving the cabinets and stovetop about 12 inches into the eating area. That small change made our kitchen feel and act like a much larger space.
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
also suggested that we allow the granite to overhang the cabinets on the eating areas side of the kitchen so we could use the overhang as eating or serving space.
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
directed us to local companies to select cabinets, tile and granite. The cabinets and granite were completed in one day. The cabinets were installed by the local company but oversight of the install was done by
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
. I know it was
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
who ensured that everything was installed up to his and
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
's standards.
Professionalism:
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
came most days to ensure his crew had all of the resources they needed for the day, to discuss the day's projects, and to spot check that the work was done to his standards. (We never saw any work being redone). He also talked to one or both of us each day he was here.
We never heard harsh words and we frequently heard
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
praise the team members. On the flip side, his crew was always complimentary of
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and were keenly aware of his expectations/standards.
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
did take a few days off during our project. He made sure we were aware of his future absence and told us that
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
would be in charge. During
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
's short absence, there was no slow down, change in work flow or work plans.
As mentioned, we expected to have some additional cost because the electrical work had to be brought up to code and the previously mentioned additional ceiling work. As the problems were identified,
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
took the time to explain the issues, explain what needed to be done and with the ceiling gave us options to fix it. We felt informed and comfortable making decisions and the original contract was updated and signed to show the additional work/costs.
Would I recommend Christian constructions? Absolutely, when we tell the story of our remodel and show pictures we always emphasize this would not have been possible without
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
,
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
, Bill and
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
. We got everything we hoped for - a new and functional kitchen and more - a beautiful kitchen, more lighting, better work area, and an additional serving/earing area.

"I bought a rental property in
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
in "as-is" condition. Going into the deal I knew I would need a bathroom remodel.
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
came out and gave a very competitive estimate. I decided to go with him for the job and the bathroom came out looking gorgeous. This is a guy who really pays attention to detail and takes pride in his work. He's not interested in cutting corners, and that's exactly the type of contractor I need.
During the bathroom remodel my tenants had some unrelated AC issues.
Sacramento Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
managed to install a window unit and through-the-wall AC unit while all the bathroom stuff was going on. What a lifesaver - seriously. I will definitely be using him in the future.

"His main worker did all the tear down, construction work, hung french door and put up sheetrock. Contractor had another worker that did tape and texture. Both workers we excellent workers, very skilled, and friendly. They answered all questions and helped us with small items that we needed help with that we not part of the contract. Only minor problem of not being able to get hold of the main contractor at times when complications arose, he was still easy to work with. Project was done on time."
