Plumbing Reviews in Sacramento

The installers showed up at 8:30 in the morning to install the new heating and air system. First thing he did was look in the attic and tell me I also needed to have the duct work replaced. When
was here to do the maintenace on my old system a few days earlier he never checked the duct work he just said I needed a new system which I did since mine was 28 years old. The installers went ahead and installed the new system but they were here until 5:30PM because they could not get the fan to shut off on the inside unit. They called to have
come out at 7:00 the next morning to correct the problem which he did. The installers put one of the pipes and I don't know what it is used for right in front of the filter drawer making it impossible to replace the filter. Israel the installer told me he would order a filter vent for the wall to hold the filter since I could not open the drawer in the unit to replace the filter. After they left I noticed I had 3 gouges in my bedroom door and a 4" scratch on the front of my washing machine. I called
the HVAC Manager and told him about it. He said he would make good on it and would come out and take pictures. He never did. I called the
office a few days later to check on the wall filter vent and spoke with
who knew nothing about it. She put me on hold and I assumed read the paperwork because when she came back she said she thought she had one in stock and would take care of it.
called me on 6/10/14 to set up the appointment for the duct work. I asked him why no one checked to see if I needed to have the duct work replaced when he sold me the new system. He said they make a mistake. I had to make another phone call to
to make sure she had the wall filter unit and she said she did and that it would be installed when they came out to do the duct work. The installers showed up at 8:30AM and were finished by 11:00AM.
had to cut my wall to make the wall filter vent fit and for some reason did not have a filter to put in. He said he would order me a reusable filter that I could rinse off and reuse. He also was surprised to find that Israel had put a filter in the filter drawer in the inside unit considering that I could not get it out or replace it. He said a technician would come out and bring me the new filter and cut the other one out of the drawer. Again I had to make a couple of calls to the
office where once again
said she would take care of it. It took 2 1/2 weeks to get the technician out to remove the filter from the unit and bring me the reusable filter. I found it interesting when they were installing the system they were able to come out right away but for something that they were not going to charge me for it took 2 1/2 weeks. Once the technician was here he discovered that when
had cut away part of my wall to install the wall filter vent he didn't cut enough out because it would have damaged the wall so he couldn't get the filter to fit. So instead of having a reusable 24x12x1 filter I have a 24x12x1 disposable filter cut down to 22x12x1 and taped together with duct tape. On
11th I called
and told him what was going on. He said he wished I had called him first with the problems I was having and I told him I had and that he didn't return my call. He was going to speak with the technician that put in the taped up filter and call me back. It has been 9 days and I have not heard back from
. When
is selling you a new air and heating system he comes across has your best friend but once he gets your signature on the dotted line he is done with you and will not return your phone calls. I am very unhappy with this experience and even though I paid $139.00 back in December for their
Value Plan I will not use them again.

My son accidentally dropped his
truck down the toilet, just as it was flushed. We didn't want it to clog up the sewer line, so we called a plumber. First, we called
Plumbing, who came out the day after I called, refused to do the work because I had not left a check (we moved from a city where the plumbers did the work and then billed you), and left a quote of $388 (stating that they would have to take the whole toilet off and all kinds of other stuff) and instructions to call them back to reschedule the actual work. So, annoyed with that experience, I called
. They came out in a matter of hours, got the truck out simply and easily, and charged us $130. Yes, we saved $258 by calling them. Very satisfied customers, and we will be calling them next time.

Everything went fine. Couldn't be happier and the Angie's list discount he was running at the time saved us at least 200.00$

It went very well. Initally they came out within 4 hours of call for blocked sewer line. Camera'd and cleared the line of roots as much as possible so we would have sewer line function. Showed us pictures of where the sewer line was broken and offset, and clearly needed to be replaced. (It turns out it was the original clay line installed sometime in the 1920's -1930's). They did have to actually dig up about 8 feet of line in the back yard from the house to a 90 degree bend. From there, they were able to use

method. They were efficient and timely and cleaned up well afterwards and replumbed all the sprinkler lines that they had to cut thru.

The service call cost $79.50. While the technician,
Sacramento Plumbers Provider Name Locked
, was very professional, courteous, and prompt there was actually not much he did other than to refer to his fee schedule. For a thermostat which I can purchase at Home Depot for less than about $60,
Sacramento Plumbers Provider Name Locked
wanted about $360 for installation. This is a less than 15 minute technical process. If I provided my own thermostat they would have charged me $220 for installation. Therefore I paid the $79.50 for pretty much nothing other than receiving a person-to-person outrageous installation quote. If they wanted to charge such an inflated price for just replacing a wall thermostat, I would be afraid to get quotes for more involved work. Will not be calling on
Sacramento Plumbers Provider Name Locked
nor refer them to others ever.

Water pressure was very poor on hot water side in kitchen sink faucet. They looked at plumbing under sink and saw that pipe was metal that had rusted inside and was causing the water pressure problem. They replaced the parts quickly (20 minutes), flushed out the pipe, and the pressure was better but there was still a recommendation to replace the kitchen faucet, as that was part of the problem as well. Straightforward and professional couple of guys.

arrived on time as scheduled. I'm glad he told me that the toilet that was part of the Big Deal is not an high end toilet. I sure did not want a toilet that was below grade of the one I already had. I chose to upgrade to the American Standard and that is why it cost me $200 more.
Sacramento Plumbers Provider Name Locked
was very efficient and professional. He finished installing the new toilet in about an hour and took the old toilet with him. Cleaned up nicely when he was done. I am very satisfy with the installation the toilet.

Service was scheduled quickly.

Tea is the bomb! He is very professional, knowledgeable, and has a great sense of humor! Price was reasonable and the job was completed sooner than I thought it would be.

arrived to provide an estimate for the work described above...very
Sacramento Plumbers Provider Name Locked
plumbing work with nearly no parts needed save a misc piece here or there. After approximately 1 minute the plumber stated that this was a very big job and that it would likely cost approximately $1,000 due to a number of vague reasons he didn't explain thoroughly. The plumber was told immediately that we would not pay this amount for the work but he provided a written quote (not itemized or detailed) of $908. We refused to have them perform the work but were required to pay the fee for providing the quote (nearly $50).
We had another plumber out the next day who completed the work very quickly and professionally for $325 and even came out the next day for free to test the fittings and make sure there were no leaks or problems.
We called the company to ask about the reasons for such a high quote and to request that our $50 fee be returned based on the unreasonableness of their estimate. We were told...after waiting more than 3 days...that the estimate was reasonable. It turns out that they wanted to charge nearly $400 to hook up a dishwasher (screwing in one hot water supply line into an existing fitting and tightening one hose clamp), $175 to install a garbage disposal, and $300 to install a kitchen faucet. We asked to speak with the owner to discuss the issue and offered to go into the store at any time that was convenient. We were told that the owner would not see us ever.
Sacramento Plumbers Provider Name Locked
then offered to refund our $50 if we agreed to keep quiet and not tell anybody about the negative experience we had with their company.

arrived on time and immediately started to work on the water heater. While the flushing was going on he went to inspect all the faucets and the plumbing in the bathrooms and the kitchen. he noticed that the plumbing under the laundry tub did not have the correct piping. It did not have the required P trap. In the kitchen sink I had no pressure in my hot water faucet . Before he left

installed the correct P trap and cleaned out the hot water line under the sink.
