"Our existing vinyl shower shell had deteriorated to the point where we had patched holes several times. A friend of ours had remodeled all of their bathrooms and helped us organize this project. We wanted to replace the shower with tile - because it was not a standard size, we could not install a bathtub. We also wanted to install a tile floor, update to a water efficient toilet and improve the lighting and venting. In addition, we had moved our furnace from a kitchen closet area to the attic in Sept 2010. We wanted to convert this space to a pantry. We wanted to install flooring to match the existing kitchen floor have multiple shelves and a light.
