Sacramento Optometrists Reviews

"They are very thorough, very good and considerate. The thing that I liked the most was how honest they were when I was looking at frames because they were not afraid to say “No, I

’t like that on you” and I really appreciated that. They really spend a lot of time working on me. Every time I have gone in there everybody in there are so gracious and very friendly. They never seem to be cranky."

"I paid one fixed fee for the lenses and the doctor's visit, but for all my return visits they wouldn't let me see the doctor. I had to meet with office techs instead and I think that is the reason for why it took so long to figure this part of the puzzle out. I finally met with one very helpful office tech who finally took the time to figure out the source of the problem. I believe they would not let me meet with the doctor for the follow up appointments because they were trying to save money. In that way they are not so helpful because their bottom line comes before customer service. Their prices are quite high so I take my glasses perscription elsewhere to be filled, but I continue to see them for my perscriptions every year because of their specialty with the gas permeable lenses."

"Overall I am pleased. I have a great pair of glasses that I choose from the selection of frames they had and this pair was perfect for my style. As noted above I had to go back several times - but all worked out in the end and it wasn't Dr. Holcombs or her staffs fault but was the fault of the lab that manufactures the actual prescription lenses and places them in the frame."

"I went to
Sacramento Optometrists Provider Name Locked
to get a new pair of glasses. I took with me my old eye file that stated what it was that I needed due to the fact that my eyes are light sensitive. I had the optometrist do my eye exam and showed him the whole file that I had. He took me out and got me in touch with someone to pick out my glasses and I indicated which type I wanted and I was transferred to 4 different people on the sales floor and somewhere in the process they messed up the prescription and they told me it would take 5-7 days to get them. On their website and on the phone it says you can get your glasses within one hour and I understand that this is as long as they have the correct lenses and frames. They eventually told me that they

’t have them in stock and they said they would have them done in a few days. I called back on the 21st of
Sacramento Optometrists Provider Name Locked
and I was told by the manager of the store that she would have the glasses for me by tomorrow which had been 5 days ago and that I will receive a phone call when they are done. I called back the day they were supposed to be done and they told me it would be another day. So I had a friend take me down there the next day and they had the incorrect lenses and frames and I was told that this is what I get. I called corporate and was told that I had to have a certain agreement which cost me $29 to be able to get these frames. So they then charged me the $29 for this. I paid $265 for the glasses and took them home and tried them on and when it came to the transition they did not transition and I could not read my computer or a book. I then called their customer service and they said there is a district manager named
Sacramento Optometrists Provider Name Locked
that will be there on Sunday so I went in and talked to him. I saw the optometrist again and he corrected my prescription. The district manager gave me a free pair of glasses since they did not have the ones that I needed. I was sitting right next to the optometrist as the DM told me this. I took these glasses home and I went back on Monday and the glasses still weren’t correct. The temporary glasses they gave me broke at the bridge of the nose. I took them back for them to work on and I was told that I would not be charged for this work because of the hassle. I waited for a while and I then received a phone call that the shipment came in and I was told that it would take 1.5 hours for them to have them ready by 3pm. I got there at 2:30 and I was waiting and then I was told that they said they would not be done until 5pm. So I sat there and waited very respectfully and then they asked if the tint was right and I said no and the frames were also incorrect. I showed them the ones that I wanted and asked them to then just ship them to me and proceeded to leave. I went to go out to my car and
Sacramento Optometrists Provider Name Locked
came out and stood in front of my door and used his body so I could not open the door and told me that he was not going to cut me any more glasses. I asked him to please let me leave. I ended up getting charged for the services that I was told would be free and I still have the recordings that say this.

"She is exceptional. Over the years we have become good friends. I found her accidentally. Once I went to see someone about my vision, and she was assigned my case. We spoke and she was interested in my teaching background and we became friends. Ever since then I have been going to her and now I am automatically assigned to her. She gives me my prescription, and if I wish, I can then just take it to the facility operated by
Sacramento Optometrists Provider Name Locked
where I can find the optical I want. I am not obligated to go to that office, but I am glad to go to them. I am so confident about the quality of their service that I will stick with
Sacramento Optometrists Provider Name Locked
. Even if they cost me more I am more satisfied with the service I get there. I would rate Dr. Lightman high overall. She does things which I did not know about optometry. I am diabetic type 2 and she spends time examining my retina to see if there is macular degeneration or any adverse damage because of this. She does more medial things than any other optometrist has done. She has other titles attached to her name. She has a fellowship in optometric care of children and that is her specialty. She deals with partially blind and nearly blind children and she works on many things beyond my understanding. I get a very comprehensive examination from her. Interestingly, I get a notification from
Sacramento Optometrists Provider Name Locked
when I have an appointment with her. I would usually not even be aware of it. In other words, she initiates my appointments. I have a standing instruction that if anything unusual happens to my eyes, I am supposed to see her immediately.

"The first time I went to this office, I asked for Dr.
Sacramento Optometrists Provider Name Locked
, because he was the head guy. I ended up with Dr. Rembleski, which I was very pleased with. Because I made such an issue of them switching me on the first appointment without asking me, this time I was seen by Dr.

, which I was not as impressed with as I was with his associate."
