"I moved from a one-story, two bedroom house to a similar home five miles away. Two Men and a Truck's estimate was six to seven hours with two movers, or four to five hours with three movers.

"All of my items were boxed and labeled, and I put labels in the new house where all the items should go. The three-man crew seemed tired from their move the day before. In fact, I ended up physically helping them move because I didn't want to get billed for more hours.

"They billed me $1,108, at $143 per hour for 7.75 hours. At their speed, if I hadn't helped, it would have taken them over nine hours, which is double what they quoted."

DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like to be charged for only five hours, meaning I would recoup $422."

"The member claims the crew was tired from the previous day while two of the three workers had the previous day off and the third worker is our move manager who gets suffocated by compliments from customers. If they were slow, why didn't he call during the move to complain?

"We never talked to the member at all. Someone else called and reserved our services. My office manager never gives quotes over the phone and we do not charge sales tax on our services. We already mailed a check to the member for $150. We thought by giving him the extra amount we had already gone above and beyond and resolved this."
