Remodeling Reviews in Sacramento

I am a realtor in the
area and was lucky to find
! We needed a contractor quickly on a home listing to do some kitchen and bath repairs/remodel before a property we had in
could go on the
. They were VERY reasonably priced and did quality work. Even though this was not a huge project they still treated us well through the whole process.
and his team were there at the jobsite when they said they would be and finished the project on time, which is important when I am trying to get a listing on the
by a certain date. These are hardworking people who do a great job. Give them a try. You will be pleased. I plan to continue to use them for future projects when needed on my upcoming listings and they will definately be a company I will refer to my clients.

It was a big work but everything went as planned.
were very cooperative, helpful and nice people.
I received the quote quickly and the work have been completed actually a few days before the schedule.
Their price was very reasonable and they saved me money with few good ideas as well.
I like my new master bathroom, thanks for
I highly recommend them and will hire them again in the future.

We first went to American Dreamworks showroom and talked about our kitchen project and set up an appt. for an estimate.
The appointment went well, he was professional and told us about the process. He estimated the job in 3 parts. The prices were competitive with others. We did not choose them because we decided to go with Corian for the countertops, and they only work with granite and engineered stones.

Week 1, Day 1: Interrupted dinner to get payment for demolition. Didn’t acknowledge that he had not contacted us before showing up at our front door at 7:30pm. Contract stated we had 3 days to provide payment for services. Also asked that we
go to home depot before it closed in 2 hours so he could have shower valve and exhaust fan for inspection the following day.
Shower valve and fan weren’t installed until 2 days later.
Called my mother in-law who is a Daltile distributor through her small business and asked for rush on tiles to arrive in 1 week. Tiling did not begin until 2.5 weeks later!
Week 2: Before my husband left for work,
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
asked for payment for completion of “rough in” which included raising the vanity
lights. We provided check. When I returned home that night the lights were not raised. Nevertheless he had taken the check we left him. When I called him he said we had never provided the height of the lights. I told him I was standing in front of the specs written by my husband and given to him that day. I also reminded him of the e-mail we sent the night before with the same information. There was a long pause and then he apologized profusely.
Week 3: Painters completed job with multiple areas where edging was sloppy and paint was missing in crevices of texturing.
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
agreed this was not acceptable. It took over 2 weeks for the painting to be fixed.
Paint was also dripped on hard wood in bedroom and in bedroom bathroom where painter decided to clean his brushes (instead of using our laundry sink in garage).
Came home Friday evening to front door unlocked and no one in my home. I could have been robbed!
Week 4: Tilers dripped dirty water over my floors and both dented and dripped that water on my sideboard. Also dented two areas on my wall, in our great room, all while carrying supplies to bathroom from garage. They completed their job without cleaning up or addressing these damages.

acknowledged that a few more tiles needed to be ordered for our tub/shower. When the wrong color arrived he didn’t tell us and also didn’t order the replacements until asked!
Week 5: Past anticipated completion date.
The following is what my husband had to do himself after
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
spent 1.5 hrs surveying his crew’s work and cleaning the
renovated bathroom:
Install 2 out of 4 light bulbs missing above vanity
Install S-arm to raise shower head to his height (discussed
this need with
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
twice but he forgot and recommended the wrong supplies)
Finish caulking around base of bathtub
Remove toilet and clean out leaves clogging it (because it
was kept outside for a portion of the renovation)
Paint windowsill

I called
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
and although he couldn't do the work within the timeframe that I needed, he responded quickly and was very helpful and knowledgable in helping me determine what I should look for in a contractor for my circumstance. A real pro that I appreciated.

The crew came in early in the morning right on time and finished the whole project by the end of the day. They were polite and professional and cleaned up all the areas. They found a leak from the old plumbing and corrected that too. We needed a different curtain rod than the one we ordered and they reordered the kind that would work better in our bathroom and they came back and installed it when it came in. I'm very happy with the results. I would recommend the company to others.

The plan was ok, the bid was detailed, but we were left wondering about colors, floor choices and other things, WE went to Kitchen Mart and got a much better picture of the KItchen and color choices and a professional interior designer worked with us and gave us many more ideas. The interior designer came to the house and took measurements and then developed the detailed plan that we felt comfortable with.

Called them back on a Tuesday evening after receiving message and provider asked how I found them and I replied Angie's List. They said they would find a subcontractor and as of the following Saturday morning, never heard from them about status or when they would come out to fix the broken light fixture. I wanted service Friday and told them that....More /> Regardless of the provider's reason for dropping the entire work order request, provider is apparently not interested in the little jobs even though they advertise they do them. Was considering remodeling bathroom and cabinet work after evaluating provider for this small job but now will find another and will not recommend them.

It went well. We purchased
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
's design package from Angie's list and
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
produced some computer rendered layouts. He informed us that he has the cabinets custom built and that we could get any dimensions which is what we needed because we wanted some non-standard sizes. The design is not about him recommending what style cabinets, appliances, etc. to use but basically a layout - he told us that if we wanted any modifications, such as narrower cabinets or island size , he could do that. Based upon the initial consultation, he provided his price for providing the service. We interviewed another kitchen remodeling company and had two representatives over. They basically were sales people. They provided better computer generated layouts of the kitchen but did not offer custom cabinets. Their estimate was unreasonably low and they steered us towards using their specific brand types. Checking them out on internet review sites, we confirmed that if you purchased their service, you never see them again but only see the separate workers performing the various construction steps. We contracted with
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
, took a few weeks deciding cabinet style and final layout and had
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
start the process. The cabinets were built, demo occurred in half a day and the cabinets delivered and installed the same day and following day. The countertop guy came, made templates, fabricated the countertop, and installed about a week later. We had selected a rather expensive granite that came in larger than normal slabs, so there was enough left after the countertops to use as a full backsplash instead of using tile as we had previously planned. So the granite guy then measured, fabricated and installed the granite backsplash.

's crews installed the appliances, and modified and installed some electrical boxes. The cutting board and cabinet door

rack were not what we thought we had ordered, so they were redone to our satisfaction.

's workers were very respectful and good people.
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
showed up every time there was work going on to see how it was going.
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
answered his phone every time we called him. we've had some poor experiences with contractors in the past and it was a pleasure to have a guy you could trust working for you. We had some misunderstandings as to what exactly we wanted, but
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
had told us that he was on the job until we got what we wanted. This proved to be the case. If your on a tight budget you may wish to ask
Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
to provide you a detailed cost breakdown. We didn't as we knew we were going to blow the budget on granite and we simply were going to get what we wanted for once in our lives!

Sacramento Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
provided an excellent job. The quality of the materials and the service provided were outstanding. It looks great!! The installer was punctual, respectful of our home and worked very hard. He was also personable and extremely "customer oriented" - that is, he was knowledgeable, friendly and efficient; answered any questions we had; reviewed and explained everything before the work was started; and gave specific directions for taking care of it after the work was completed. We are exceptionally happy with
