They came out and gave us an estimate and several choices of finishing products. We chose a finish and scheduled a start date. They came out on a Monday and were finished by Thursday. They sanded the kitchen, all living areas and one bedroom the first day. They taped off kitchen cupboards and bedrooms that were not being worked on. They sealed and put 2 coats of finish on by the end of the week. We were very happy with their workers and the job done.

I first visited the showroom at
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
in September 2013. Cece was working that day and was super friendly and happily answered all of my questions. In addition, she was quite knowledgeable about their products and even offered suggestions for matching colors and keeping the product clean. I ordered just over 1000 sq ft of the 12.3mm Eternity V-Groove Red Ancient Pine flooring and used their subcontractor, Yuriy, for installation.
Initially, the wrong color flooring was delivered to my home which subsequently delayed my installation date. When their warehouse in the Bay Area called about delivering the correct product, there was a mix-up and they would only deliver it curbside. Having seen the size of the order once already and having chronic tennis elbow, I knew there was no way I could carry the product into my house. I called Cece and requested that she find a solution and despite the fact that tensions were high, she found a way to correct the situation. The correct product was delivered to their
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
warehouse and Yuriy picked up and delivered it to my home.
Yuriy did the installation in two days and did a fantastic job. He and his helper were very professional and skilled at their trade. Despite the hiccups, I would use them again because of the professionalism that both Cece and Yuriy maintained during stressful situations.
PRODUCT NOTES: The 12.3mm Eternity V-Groove laminate flooring would receive a “C” grade from me. The product has inconsistent sheens on various pieces which are noticeable. Some pieces look shiny and others look dull. Also, I was surprised at how easily the product dents when you drop things on the floor! The day after my install my cat pushed my iPad off the counter and onto the floor and it left a big

in the laminate. My iPad is okay though. ?

I contracted with
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
in September of 2013 to install a vinyl plank floor, including removing/replacing all baseboards, which I would paint while they were off. I purchased the flooring materials directly from Home Depot, but one stair nosing piece was on back order. Before contracting,
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
and I discussed this and he agreed to put the majority of the floor in, then come back and place the stair nosing when it arrived. He gave me a price break for removing the carpet and laminate flooring in advance, which I did. I considered the agreed upon price fair and reasonable; it was ball-park what I was quoted from other providers, and I liked that he would do the work himself.
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was responsive, friendly and sociable, and did a good job on the floor; other than a couple lumpy spots and some small areas that lifted right away, and some damage to the walls where the baseboard was removed, the floor is very nice. I had a first coat of paint on the baseboards when
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was finishing the floors; we agreed that he would replace the baseboards when he returned to place the stair nosing which would give me time to put the second coat on. At that time Home Depot showed the piece available at the end of November on their website.

I suggested withholding $100 from our $1500 agreed upon price, to be paid when the job was complete, as by personal policy I do not pay 100% until a job is complete and this amount seemed very minimal.
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
acted surprised and offended, and questioned how I could not trust him to come back and finish. Feeling guilty and badly for implying that I did not trust him, I paid the full $1500 and did not ask for a written acknowledgement of our agreement for the remaining work. I told him I would let him know as soon as the part arrived and we parted on good terms, or so I thought.

The stair nosing did not become available at the end of November, or December; I updated
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
periodically with voicemails to let him know that I was continuing to follow up on the part, which finally came available the middle of February. I called
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
immediately to tell him I was ordering, and to try to set an appointment to place the stair nosing and replace the baseboards. I was able to reach him by phone, and he said he was not busy and it would be best to wait till the materials arrived, then make the appointment. They arrived about 2 weeks later. From then on, I only got
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
’s voicemail, leaving repeated messages that the parts were here and I wanted to schedule the appointment to finish the work. He never called back. One time, about 6 weeks after the materials arrived,
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
did answer, but when I introduced myself the phone went dead. I called right back – straight to voicemail, no returned call.

This continued until today when
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
did call me back, and said that due to the fact that the baseboards weren’t ready for him to install the last day he was at my house, and more than seven months have gone by, he was not willing to complete the work. When I objected, and tried to remind him of our agreement when I wrote the check for the full amount, he called me a hardheaded and stubborn woman and said he would not do the work. He said I had not done my homework and had the baseboards ready for him the day he finished the floor, so he was not obligated to replace them now. I asked him to hear me out; he said he wouldn’t have a discussion with a child and hung up on me. If, on the last day that
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was at my house, he had told me it was even possibly a now-or-never on replacing the baseboards, I’d have had him put them up with one coat of paint, no problem. That is not what happened; to the contrary, he indicated that it would be nice to work a shorter day that day, not having to do the base. If at any time of my waiting for the materials to arrive, he had contacted me and said the delay was impacting him, I would have completely understood and arranged for him to come do the baseboards, and probably would have removed the stair nosing requirement from the contract, since it wasn’t his fault I couldn’t get my hands on it.

I am very sorry and disappointed to be posting this message, but legitimately, that is what Angie’s List is about. If nothing goes wrong, I am sure you will have a good experience with
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
. As you can see, he has a great standing here on Angie’s List. I myself would have given him an A or at worst a B, had I been able to get the piece I needed sooner from Home Depot. However, if there are issues, you may get a complete personality change that you would have never seen coming. I have gotten some value from this experience, however, and it may save me much more than the few hundred dollars it will cost me to get this job finished. In the future, if anyone tries to make me feel badly for ‘not trusting’ them, I will remember that a contractor should never agree to accept full payment for incomplete work, and I will stick to my policy. I have also developed a new personal policy – when anyone with whom I contract and pay money won’t return calls, insults me verbally, and then hangs up on me, it’s an automatic F. I hope this does not happen to you and that you, like the other reviewers, have a good experience with this contractor.

Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
came to provide an onsite estimate, answered my questions. On the day of install, he came with his team to do about 1100 sq ft of job. They were prompt and very professional. On top of that, they got it done all in one day (tear out, debris removal, remove and re-install molding, and of course, install hardwood flooring). I was very impressed by them. I am going to use them again on putting down ceramic tiles next time!

Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
met with us the same day I called. He provided us with tips and suggestions as to the layout that really helped. His installation price was very fair. When we told him we had laminate already picked out,
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
looked at our sample and said that was a good choice (no hard selling). He even offered to pick it up himself.
The job took 3 days. He started the job within a week of hire and he and his son showed up on time each day. They were very pleasant and helpful in moving bulky furniture.
The whole experience was very pleasant. We are very happy with the results. We would definitely use him again should the need arise. This guy is top notch!

After shopping around at different showrooms in the
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
area my wife and I decided to make a stop at the
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
Home Show. That is where we met
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
(flooring consultant) for
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
. From the very beginning she was very helpful and honest with all of our questions. Yes, we had several questions seeing how a hardwood flooring install was something new to us.
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
spent nearly a half hour showing us samples, answering questions and explaining the step by step process we would be going through if we decided to have the work done. Now that the job is fully complete, I can look back and say that everything that was said on our first meeting was done as promised and she was there for us throughout the complete process 100%.
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was always easy to contact and never rushed us on making any decisions, made sure she had plenty of time for us. The installation process was flawless!
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
are associated with several different installers and they will match you up with a crew the will get the job done the way you want it.
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
set us up with the perfect crew. A crew that had an eye for detail and treated us and our home with great respect. The crew communicated well with us asking how we wanted everything to be done and was real good about letting us know how long they would be and exactly what they would being doing in each segment of the two day project. When the project was complete they left the work area completely spotless, left us with instruction on how to care for the floor and would not leave until my wife and I did a walk-through and was 100% completely satisfied. The Floors are Beautiful and the work completed is flawless! I may have been able to find a better price by a few dollars but from all the shopping we did I really don't believe I could find a company that backs up their promises, stands behind their installers and has a commitment to their customers like
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
and
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
flooring do. It's not easy to find companies who put the customer first these days so after doing business with
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
it has restored hope that there are some out there that follow through from start to finish.

This was a complete tear-out with replacement of tub/shower, vanity/sink and toilet, new floor and wall tile, with a goal of retaining the existing wallpaper. The tear-out went fine except more care could have been taken to reduce construction dust throughout the house. While some minor damage was made to the wallpaper, I was able to touch up with extra supply of wallpaper. The framing and tile setting went well. Completed tile work was done expertly with extra care in supporting the final tile design

-out. Natural stone required bull-nosing around finished wall, base tile, and window edges. Precision cuts. Tile sealing and grouting well done. Some problems with tub drain and shower valve correctly fitting. Required adjustments and purchase of a rough-in extension kit. Replacement of vanity/sink and toilet went well. The owner,
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
, worked very closely with me in addressing any questions I had, making me a full participant in the process as desired. The work was completed on schedule and to my satisfaction.
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
and his crew made an additional trip to complete faucet installation following counter top installation (under separate contract).
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
also reinstalled previous towel bars and TP holder, replaced a wooden door trim to assure better alignment with new base tile, along with installing a new fixed shower basket inside the shower area, all above and beyond the original contract requirements. He also offered to discount the final price by the cost of housecleaning services, which I declined since he had assisted in other areas mentioned.

I am selling my house and when all furniture was moved out the floors showed wear and tear. I signed up for the "deal" and ended up including a second room. I found
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
to be very responsive to my need to get the job done quickly and he was willing to work on week-ends. The end product was shiny clean floors.

Our condo will be painted in the spring so I needed to find someone to inspect the siding for dry rot and give a repair estimate.
Sacramento Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
came out to the house the next morning after I called him and evaluated the siding. He advised me of an area that could need attention in the future but that didn't need to be taken care of this round. He could have told me that repairs were needed, but he didn't, and I appreciate his honesty. I would hire him if work needed doing.
