"
I used them for a second time because they had done a fabulous job painting the exterior of my house when I first used them. They covered everything and took care of everything. Nothing went wrong whatsoever.

"He came out gave us an estimate. The inside work was done in two days. He came back another day to do the exterior. His painting and caulking are superb!! He cleaned up every day and there was NO paint anywhere but where we wanted it. He is very courteous and respectful. We plan to have him come out and paint our family room."

"Got an estimate to coat the house. The first bid was way too high even with the "special" promotions that was only good for that day. Months later got another call promising additional discounts. The same salesman came out to remeasure the house because he had lost the 1st measurements. The 2nd bid was even higher than before. Long story short...a lot of high pressure sale and very poor customer service."

" arrived on time for the estimate, gave a quote and said that the painting could be completed within 7-10 days (we received several other, similar quotes). Inasmuch as it was November and we were concerned about the weather, he and his team started the job a couple of days early. They did an excellent job prepping, painting and cleaning up. They were also all very pleasant and easy to work with. Our house looks beautiful."

"We hired around the beginning of Sept with a start date of 9/27/2010. He was here on time as set to pressure wash and prep the areas necessary. My opinion is he is a prefectionist at his work and has much passion for what he does. The job was completed within 3 days as promised. Everything was cleaned up with no mess left around. I would recommend for anyone's painting needs. PERFECTION!! Great Job and I can't say enough Thank U's to him.

"I am moderately pleased with their work. They gave me an expensive quote so I called the owner and he worked on it. The price seems to be okay. The workers were hardworking. They were very responsive when I raised a questions or I had any issues. The owner was pretty genial and responsive on the frontend but my main complaint with them was they were not supervising the work, so if the owner was not this active, I really would have not got such a good job done. Also the initial team was sent without all the equipments that they really needed to do the job well. They ended up using my ladders and breaking one. "

" the owner came out on time and gave a reasonable estimate. He and the crew always showed up on time. Initially they power washed the home and removed loose paint flecks, filled cracks and holes and even installed new outdoor light fixtures for us.after the painting was done They were fast, efficient, quite and cleaned up after the job. My husband and I were very satisfied. I think it is worthwhile to chose a company in which the owner is also involved in providing the service/labor! I will use Viking in the future!"

"This was an excellent experience for me. came out to give me an estimate within 48 hours of my call. Together we examined the exterior of my home and he made recommendations. He worked around my work schedule and finished the job exactly on time. As this is a halfplex and only my side was done, I was very concerned that the color match my neighbor's. He matched the color EXACTLY -- you cannot see the difference between the two homes.
Before he started he provided me with a detailed contract that clearly listed every aspect of the job. The estimate was much less than I had expected and it was exactly the price I paid.
The work was done professionally and of the highest quality."

" was the first of three painters I interviewed for this job. On the phone, he sounded rather hurried and frantic, and was a bit difficult to follow. In person, however, he was communicative, professional, and easy to talk to. He provided his bid on the spot, before leaving. It had a checklist of the 15-20 features and tasks to be included in the job, and details about the paint. He said that it would take him and three employees 2.5 days of work to complete the job, which was exactly as predicted (although there was a break over the weekend to let the pressure wash dry out before the painting started).
went to great trouble to make me confident in hiring Viking. Along with the bid (which turned out to be the lowest) and a swatch book, he left me his certificate of liability and workers comp insurance, reminded me that he was licensed and bonded, urged me to look up Viking with the BBB, noted his five year guarantee, and pointed out that he had been in business for several decades. He was very responsive to my phone calls when I had follow-up questions.
arrived on schedule each day with his crew (the foreman), and . All four were friendly, easygoing, smart, skilled and dedicated to getting the job done right. They worked smoothly as a team, and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. At a few points I asked questions about what they were doing, and consulted with them to ensure that certain parts of the house got the right colors. For the trim and window frames they applied as many coats as necessary to properly cover. They installed a new porch light I provided, and repainted the rusting mail slot before reattaching it for me. Before leaving, we all walked around the house, with the crew touching up the paint and tidying up the premises. When they left, the plants close to the house were a bit bent (and perhaps a bit broken) from the dropcloths, but I don't see how that could have been helped. The neighbors are very complimentary about the results."

"I am very, very pleased with everything. will receive all of my painting business. Communication with the contractor is important, and we communicated well. Contractor-owner is experienced, attentive to detail, meticulous, punctual, and works alongside his crew. Roof on this house is lightweight clay tile which is very brittle, breaks easily. I expected breakage (you have to) because of the task of getting way up under the on the second story in some areas. was very knowledgeable and careful working on this type of roof to get waaaay up there which is dangerous. (Good-going, - I'm very happy; absolutely no one could have done it better.) The job included pressure washing of entire house. The second story is vinyl siding which did not need painting, but it did need to be rinsed off. The owner explained the vinyl siding could not be sprayed with the pressure because it would tear up the vinyl siding, but they could do more of a spray-rinse, which was fine with me, and I knew that I would have to wipe off the vinyl by hand eventually to get off all of the past six years of dust/dirt afterward. However, the spray-rinse of the vinyl had a better result than I expected. Now as for the painting job, this place has never looked so good, ever. Over the past 28 years, I have been able to look up and see minor spots in quirky corners that past painters missed, or areas where I thought they could have applied more paint - but as far as I see, this crew missed nothing, and the application is nice. I like the way the surfaces look, more than one coat with high quality paint and the quality of the work. Also, with past painters, there has been some overspray on the roof and also on the windows, but there is none that I have seen with this contractor. My front double doors and garage door look better than they ever have, and the house numbers and flag holder were sprayed black and now look very sharp. They also did a good job painting the gutters and trim. I was most concerned that any company I contracted with has workers' compensation insurance, and carries the appropiate license, bond and workers' compensation insurance. I will use this company again and refer it to others without hesitation when the opportunity arises."
