"The bottom of a front entry door was damaged and a reasonable estimate was given a few hours after calling. The next day, the door was taken to their facility, glued and returned in five hours. Not only was the door repaired and replaced on its hinges, but about an hour was spent adjusting both doors. If you have problems with doors,

Nuzman, owner of
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
Doors & Locks, saved the day for us. We live in a 103-year old home with all the usual problems associated with an older home. We had previously hired another contractor to install weather stripping around our front door--what a mess!! Couldn't open or close the door unless you had the strength of Superman. Then searching through Angie's List (which we should have done in the first place) we found
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
Door. We called
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
and explained the situation to him. He was working in the area so he came over the same day to give us an estimate.
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
's knowledge of older doors was amazing. He explained to us what needed to be done to correct the problem. Although we thought the price was a tad high, we realized any work done on an older home requires a person with much more skill so we set up a date for the work to be done.

's associate, who also was very knowledgeable about older doors, was very pleasant to work with. He arrived on time and proceeded to fix the door right away. Before he could begin to install the weather stripping, he had to remove all the other weather stripping. The job took approxiately three hours to complete. While he was at our home he gave us a great "education" on older doors, including the anticipated life span remaining on our door! We were very satisfied with

Doors and would definitely hire them again as well as recommend them to anyone with any type of door/lock problem.

"Technicians called 30min before arrival as promised. They worked together to replace the rollers on sliding doors and none sliding side of one door all in about 2hrs. The sliders slide easily and smoothly again and no more moisture between panes in side they was replaced so we are very happy with result and would hire again.

"I interviewed sales people from three different window companies who represented three different window manufacturers. The Northwest sales person was the only one that brought a "sample kit" to demonstrate the window construction and features. After the interviews I visited the three local showrooms to see some actual window installations and to have the sales people show me more details. Each of the window companies had their own shop adjacent to their showrooms, as well their own trucks and crews.
The estimates were fairly close to one another, but I decided on the Northwest as the installer and chose the Anlin windows they were promoting because I liked the window features (construction and materials). I also preferred their screens, which had metal "pulls" instead of the typical flimsy rubber "tabs" that most screens have (that is, when they are new!). It's a small detail, but removing screens and re-seating them is one of the things you have to do when you clean windows.
After signing the contract, a different Northwest representative came to my place and took precise measurements and subsequently placed the order with the Anlin manufacturer (www.anlin.com). After the windows arrived at Northwest, they scheduled the installation.
The installation crew arrived on time and the first thing they did was to walk through my townhouse and double-check to make sure they had the correct windows and equipment before they started work. One of the windows had to be re-ordered because the manufacturer had made a mistake, but Northwest was able to get it expedited and the replacement window arrived within a week.
I left the townhouse for part of the time that the crew was working because I didn't want to be around all the noise and activity. But from what I did observe, the crew was very precise and careful about removing the old windows and installing the new ones. They kept me apprised of their progress during the day and discussed with me how they could deal with some construction issues that were not visible until they removed old paneling. And each day they cleaned up the interior and exterior before they left.
The removal and installation job took three days total, and then they came back a forth day for a few hours to complete some detail work (additional caulking, removing labels, cleaning windows, etc.).
Northwest installed new window trim on the exterior (it was required by the Homeowners Association), but I had to arrange for the trim to be painted.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the appearance of the finished job (interior and exterior), and it's great to have windows and doors that open and close smoothly again instead of the 40-yr old windows that were sticking all the time. And when I close the windows, it is so quiet that I either don't hear or am not bothered by a lot of the typical city noises anymore (such as fire engines, planes, and leaf blowers).

"OUTSTANDING! This was a large project that spread periodically between
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
and September 2013 because the merchandise was ordered through various vendors. Initially, I met with the company owner,
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
Nuzman, a gentleman and expert in his trade of installling and repairing doors and locks. I told him I was interested in a high quality wood, front door and doorknobs. My house was built in 1949, and the front door and most of the door knobs are original pieces.
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
made excellent suggestions yet was never overbearing in his recommendations. His major goal was to give me a high quality door, front and back door lock sets, and door knobs that complemented the age and style of my house. I was very pleased with the choices made. Once the selections were made and delievered,
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
's associate,
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
, single-handedly did the installation work.
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
is exceptionally detailed, precise, and takes great pride in his work. He is a perfectionist and artist in his trade. I am so incredibly pleased with

came out and gave us an estimate. We were given two choices of brands and price points, and I found
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
knowledgeable,professional, and pleasant. We found
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
's Exterior through Angie's List. In addition, when I spoke to my next door neighbor, he told me that
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
had replaced the windows for his adult daughter, and she was very pleased with the job they did for her.
The installation crew arrived on time, worked very hard all day, and paid attention to all details. With every most construction jobs, unseen problems occur. In our case, one of the sliders had previously been a window, and when the original install was done, the slider door was about two inches above floor level.Since the new slider door would fit into the old frame, the new slider would sit higher still. The installer recommended the door be installed level with the existing bedroom floor, to prevent someone from tripping over the high threshold as they went through the new slider.I followed the recommendation, and it was the right choice. After the job was finished, all the debris was cleaned up.
The new windows and slider doors look great, it makes the house look better. In sum, I feel it was money well spent, and I feel
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
Exterior provided to us a real value.

"I found
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
and Home Pro through Angie's List.
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
was the only one of three contractors (all of whom I found on Angie's List) who actually returned my call. He did so promptly and came and gave me an estimate for replacing my back door. He explained what the work would entail, the brand of door with which they preferred to work, and let me choose the style of door.
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
was patient, listened well, and provided answers that explained everything I needed.
I suspected that once
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
's crew began work on the door that they would find other issues regarding the replacement, since our home was built in 1926. As soon as they did find something,
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
immediately came by to show me what they found, what it meant to the replacement and long term issues with the home, and gave me options on how to handle it. He also showed me areas on dry rot around the house that his workers had noticed in their work. These were the exact same places the inspector found when we were buying the home.
He wrote out an estimate of the additional work and we asked them to add the repair of the dry rot with the patio door.
I could not be more happy with
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
and his crew. They were informative, friendly, polite, respectful, unobtrusive while working, and provided high quality work.
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
remained readily available by phone and willing to be at the house whenever I needed him to look at something. When the work was complete,
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
walked me through everything and has done excellent follow up.
As my husband and I save up to do additional work, we know that we want
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
to do all our home repair/replacement work.
I highly recommend Home Pro to anyone looking for someone to help them with contract work around their home.

"Anchored toilet more securely. Covered up some exposed areas, but not very professional. Built a small access door to back room storage area, but was unable to put locking device on it (felt he should have been able to come up with a solution to the problem). Also, did some small damage to adjoining trim, and didn't even tell us.

"Ed, the owner, gave me a presentation of the Amerimax product, and after my own research, I agreed it was an excellent choice. After a thorough review of my windows and siding, he worked within my budget to come up with a price we could both work with, good time of installation around my schedule and promise of great service.
He delivered on all of it.

Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
and
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
returned the following day to complete the detail work and final finishes on the project.
The installers were as neat and clean as one could ever ask for, covering all the traffic areas with tarps, sweeping up all the debris outside and vacuuming inside constantly and before they left for the day.
They answered all my questions and concerns throughout the project. I live in a small condominium community and
Sacramento Door Installers Provider Name Locked
had big trucks which made access for some of my neighbors difficult. They accommodated all of them without issues, and my neighbors reported to me how great these contractors were about that.
I did a ton of research before choosing Amerifax and this contractor for my project, and I couldn't be happier.
The windows and doors are beautiful and I can't wait for my new Danmer shutters to make this 30+ year old home look fresh and energy efficient.

"His main worker did all the tear down, construction work, hung french door and put up sheetrock. Contractor had another worker that did tape and texture. Both workers we excellent workers, very skilled, and friendly. They answered all questions and helped us with small items that we needed help with that we not part of the contract. Only minor problem of not being able to get hold of the main contractor at times when complications arose, he was still easy to work with. Project was done on time."
