"Over the years, I have been more than satisfied with the installation, performance and servicing of all the equipment I purchase with the exception of the natural gas fired tankless water heater which they replaced after good faith efforts to service it. There has never been a problem with oil delivery. On the rare occasions that I have had problems, i.e., the tankless water heater or an AC, their service department, up to and including the service manager, have either promptly solved the problem or replaced the equipment. On such an occasion, the owner called me himself to be certain I was satisfied. I have enjoyed my contacts with all their staff, office and field; and I have always felt fairly treated in regard to costs."

"They are super. I live in a really old house, so they had to take out old pipes and put in new attachable pipes. I have been using them for years and they have been very good and I would highly recommend them. My experiences with them have always been extremely good and I have had different people come out and all of them seemed to be a good job. "

"When can out I should have know right away there was going to be a problem. I was talking to about the controllers but he was pitching just about every product he had on his line card. He was specifically very interested in me replacing my water heater with a Rinnai Tankless water heater. I told him that I would consider it BUT that the house was only 5 years old and it wasn't at the top of my priority list. The controllers were installed - I paid my bill and I was happy.
The VERY next day after the installation of the controller, the hot water heater was not working. Only had been up in the room with hot water heater and the HVAC system. It was a Sunday and he offered to come back to take a look and "He would ONLY charge me straight time for the call and not the usual time and a half." I was in complete amazement at his attitude and customer service. I told him that would not be necessary because I felt in my heart that he had done something to the water heater to make it stop working. I checked the unit and the pilot light was out. It had been so windy that I just thought the flame had some how blown out. I attempted to light the burner numerous times and although the flame would catch at first it would quickly flame out. I went to Lowes and went to the plumbing aisle. I explained to the retired plumber what I suspected. He told me to check the supply line to see if the gas line had been partially closed. I went home to find the gas line 1/2 closed. I opened it up fully and the was able to light the pilot without any problem.
Hmmmmmmmm - Seems funny to me that the gas line had somehow been 1/2 shut.
I guess someone else might have let the technician come over to "fix" the problem. Then I guess I would have also been getting my next Rinnai sales pitch and a bill for the repair to the waterheater. Those are the facts. I will leave it to everyone else to be the judge. I did call back and explain to him the solution. He explained that he me that he must have "hit it while he was working up there". He should have not been anywhere close to that shut off while working on the HVAC. I would NEVER do busines with again. I hope others read this and remember his name and how he conducts business."

"They were here providing routine service for our 1 yr old heat pump, which we purchased from them, and noticed our hot water heater had a slow leak. They offered to give us an estimate for replacing the old hot water heater. They faxed us an estimate and information on the new hot water heater in a few days. Once we contacted them, since there was no rush, we scheduled them to come out in about a week, which worked best for our schedule. Several days after the installation, we noted a decrease in our water flow rate. We contacted and they promptly came out and made an adjustment on the hot water heater. We have had no further problems."

" came out to the house, inspected the old unit, explained in detail what was wrong with it, and gave me an estimate on the spot. I agreed to the cost, and he came back 2 hours later and installed it in less than an hour. Afterwards, he explained everything about care and maintenance, and patiently answered all of my questions. His skill and his professionalism were wonderful. He brought along an apprentice, and it was great to see him teaching someone else, you could tell he really loves what he is doing, and is dedicated to doing it right the first time."
