is a family business, and the owner was present and supervising from start to finish. Everyone was pleasant, friendly, hard-working, and professional. In the new home, we had just had the floors refinished, and they laid mats in the entrance path and wore booties over footwear to protect the floors. The owner came to our home to give the estimate for the move, which was based on time instead of weight, and was significantly lower than another estimate we received from a larger company. The final charge was no more than the estimate. These were good, honest folks whom I enjoyed and was glad to have in my home. I would definitely use them again."

"Father and son team- took about 2 hours on both trips - had odd furniture and antiques and a treadmill about 4 rooms full of furniture. They were great dealing with those items, especially the larger peices- . Will use them again the next time I need to freshen up the floors. - they did a great job."

"They were very efficient packing, and willing to use some boxes that we already had in place, which saved us some money. The move was very smooth and professional and the crew was super nice and very helpful. My only complaint would be there was some stuff that was left behind, but not much more than a car load or two. This was mostly due to the estimator missing how much materials they needed so they couldn't finish packing, and then stuff got missed the day of the move. They were cheaper than other services I priced and very punctual. Additionally, we had some confusion around truck parking and blocking off the street since we all thought that the estimator/manager was going to make arrangements for parking & blocking cars...but it all worked out. Great move overall..."

"When I called to make a reservation, I was asked to provide a deposit, which I did. I was told the move would require four men and I would receive a receipt and confirmation. I never received a receipt for the deposit and I had to call twice to confirm the appointment. Only three men showed up. They arrived on time and prepared to move, but had erroneous information on what was to be moved. The truck leaked and our only sofa and chair got wet. The movers reported it and I spoke with someone at the company office. To their credit, they contacted a furniture cleaning person who came to look at the damage. There are water stains on the furniture; the cleaner told me he was coming back the next day to clean the covers on the furniture (it had removeable covers- Ikea style). When the cleaner was supposed to arrive, I received a phone call from this moving company saying they were not going to clean the furniture after all because it was not stained and I was just trying to get my furniture cleaned at their expense. I will make arrangements to get the furniture cleaned at my own expense at this point but I would never recommend this company to anyone."

"I contracted

to deliver furniture that I purchased from Big Lots. They agreed to pickup my items and deliver them on May 21, 2008 before 6:00 PM for a charge of $50.00. At 5:30 PM that day, I attempted to contact

to ask where my items were. I received no response. I contacted a manager at Big Lots who informed me that my entire order was still at the store. The manager at Big Lots was able to directly contact the delivery driver and had him then get in touch with me. The driver informed me that my order was never placed in his paperwork for the day, and he had no idea that I was due a delivery. The driver stated that it was after hours for him, but offered to deliver my items anyway. The driver finally delivered my items, without the assistance of his helper at 7:30 PM. This "guaranteed" company failed to honor our verbal contract, proving to be in place by the charge placed on my credit card. When I contacted them the same day, May 21, to discuss their error, the receptionist stated that a manager was not in and then did not answer my phone calls for the rest of the day. I called the next day, May 22, also with no response. On May 26, I was finally contacted by the owner or manager,

. He apologized for my inconvenience and promised me a refund amounting to half of the delivery fee I paid. (total refund $25.00) It is now September and I have not received my refund nor have I been contacted by this company or any of its employees even after sending an email at the end of

2008. I have also contacted the BBB who attempted on my behalf to contact this company. The case with the BBB has been closed as of today because this company failed to respond to the BBB."

"They showed up late. They worked very hard and they were very good. They may have underestimated the size of the job because they took a little longer than expected. They have a very good crew. I would recommend them to other people."

"They were very careful. This comes apart for the move and then once you've moved it you put it back together. There is a heavy piece that goes on top and they were very careful to get this placed properly and correctly. They were very courteous and polite, very nice to deal with."

"They took the job on very short notice which was great. However, their truck broke down and didn't get there until almost 2 p.m (supposed to start at 8 a.m, we were supposed to be out of the house by 5 p.m). The house wasn't emptied until almost 6 p.m and we ended up needing a second truck, so they left the remainder of our stuff in the driveway until the second truck could get there (we were at the closing table). Didn't end up leaving our second house until almost 10 p.m and no offer of a discount for all the trouble? Anyway, the price was reasonable and the guys were nice. A lot of damage to the walls, but I guess that is to be expected on any move."

"They did a fabulous job and out of everything they only broke one wine glass. They were so careful with everything and the price was reasonable. I would recommend them to other people because they were so friendly and they did the job well."

"Great value. They send 4 men to move things and charge $75/hr + 1 extra hour. Therefore, for a 2 hour move they charge $225. Guys were professional and extremely quick. Didn't damage furniture, however they did scratch a wall, which they offered to repair (I didn't take them up on it, since I needed to repaint room anyway). I would definitely use again."
