"Mr.
Richmond Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
arrived exactly on time and took his time going through my house from basement to attic.
I have a very old house (80+ years) and I had a particular problem with a leak coming into the ground floor ceiling than neither a roofer nor a plumber could identify.
Richmond Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
saw that water was coming in behind the gutter, and also another gutter that could cause more problems later on. He pointed out changes that could or should be made to make the house safer or could possibly lower my utility bills. He was at my home for approx. 4 hours and when he was done he provided me with a notebook that gave a thorough overview of everything - roof, plumbing, dampness, electrical, etc. - plus pictures and a DVD!!!
He also gave me the name of a roofer whom I called and was very impressed with who will be doing the repairs to the roof and chimney.
I had been thinking about getting a whole-house appraisal for a while but thought it might be too costly. WIth the 20% off Angie's List coupon it was money well spent. Although I don't intend to sell my home, I do want to keep it in good condition and this evaluation has established the "big picture"; something I can use to make modifications a little at a time.

"I actually used
Richmond Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
twice to inspect two different homes - one I ended up not purchasing due to what he found.
Richmond Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
and his son are both professional and thorough - he was on time (even a few minutes early) to the appointment and sent me the inspection report by the next morning. He was honest with me about what needed fixed and even took the time to show me parts of house maintenance that I (a young, female, first time homebuyer) would not otherwise know about. And since I had him inspect two houses within a short period of time, he actually discounted the second inspection (the above price was for the first house). I hope I don't need another inspection any time soon, but if I do, I know who I'll call!"

"I was very impressed with
Richmond Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
. I have had prior inspections done for other houses with different inspectors and
Richmond Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was by far more thorough than any other inspector I have ever used. Not only did he do the house inspection, but also provided tips on what I could do to improve how some things work. The inspection took about 3 to 3 1/2 hours.

found items that the inspector I used when purchasing the house missed. I will definitely be using U S Inspect to inspect the new home I am purchasing.

was very professional. He was chosen by our real estate agent (our fault). I noticed things while we were there for the inspection that the trained eye of the inspector "didn't see". Moreover, we're still finding things that we felt he should have caught during the inspection. Things that aren't

or would have needed any kind of removal of anything to see. One would like to think that your agent the hired inspector have your back, however, buyer beware. Although he gave us a "thorough" and professional report, we question his thoroughness."

"I was very pleased with the inspector that handled my job. He was very knowledgeable. As we walked around the outside of the house for the first half of the inspection, he explained some of his preliminary findings to me and how they could affect the home's condition. He also explained what kind of repairs would need to be done to keep it in good shape. The second half of the inspection was spent inside the house and under the crawlspace. I didn't go under the house this time around. Again, the inspector appeared to do a thorough job of investigating the major systems and appliances in the house. But I did end up hiring the same inspector from
Richmond Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
for the final walk-through to verify that my list of repairs had been completed. He even went in the crawlspace, coveralls and all! I paid $150 for the re-inspection, which was well worth it.

"Our neighbor had a radon problem that turned up at inspection and shelled out big bucks. We didn't want that and decided to do a seller inspection. Bill and his crew came out exactly when promised. We had a choice of services, and he did not press us for all. As stated above, he did not just provide us with the report but went over it line by line, taking time to explain the items and even going downstairs to show us. He stated what was necessary to be fixed not only to sell but to pass inspection. He also told us what wasn't necessary to fix but might be an issue. He provided us names of reliable people we could use. He is a engineer and is totally thorough and professional. He gave us complete peace of mind. I wish I could have taken him down to be the inspector of the home we bought."

"Rusty is the guy s name that performed this inspection. He seems to be very good. He makes sure everything is up to date with the house for buyers. The charge all depends on the size of the house, but it is very reasonable. Compared to others, he is very reasonable. The larger the house, the more the price goes up."

"
Richmond Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
was not, in my opinion, very thorough. Over the course of the first two weeks following my move in date, I discovered the following: three "dead" outlets; two windows with latches broken in a way that prohibit them from opening and I am told require the purchase of new windows; lights on one ceiling fan blow when the fan is turned on; two of the three spotlights on the house do not work; and two doors in the house will not fully close."

"This inspection was one of the best we have ever had. They provided digital photography of every thing they inspected. He crawled under the house, he inspected the roof, the plumbing and furnace. It was a very thorough inspection and the price was well worth it."

"I called for an appointment and got one for two days later. The inspector arrived on time and inspected to see if there was any evidence of mice in my basement. What I thought was mouse droppings turned out to be dead "
Richmond Home Inspectors Provider Name Locked
-pollies". My young adult son was the person who actually met with the inspector. My son said they had a good laugh and, as promised, the inspection was free. And my son wasn't made to feel that he had wasted the inspector's time or pressured to buy any sort of package. I obviously can't say that that their "pest control" is effective since I didn't use it, but I can say that they were prompt, professional, honest and easy to work with. And if ever again I think that I have a pest or insect problem, I'll call them again."
