"Earnest is a kind and honest businessman. The first morning he and his employee arrived over an hour late. The following the days were the same. It wasn't an issue, as we weren't yet living in the home, but had the situation been different it would have been an issue. He listened intently to what I wanted and delivered some beautifully refinished floors.
We had him replace the foot molding(quarter round) throughout as it had seen better days. Upon inspecting the work inbetween coats of varnish, there were seams in the quarter round in the middle of rooms that were quite obvious. We asked him to redo those areas to which he obliged. I just hoped it could have been done correctly the first time."

"The carpet and tile installation look great, without complaints. The hardwood floor experiene was terrible. The shoe molding in my bedroom was dark brown and red oak throughout. This took two additional trips over to my home to correct and make sure all of the shoe molding was red oak. I found large chunks of trash in my rear hallway. This area approx. 3'x5' was sanded and re-coated 3 separate times from what appeard to be a one man crew. I then requested that then entire hallway be re-done properly with the large sander because there was still an excess of trash as well as a brushstroke and footprint. Finally, after sanding the hallway down all the way and re-coating 3 times it looks as it should. During this time, they also had to the remaining of the downstairs and re-coat in order for it to match the hallway. During the hardwood project, I noticed that almost every single doorway had been damaged up to about knee height. The trim & walls throughout the home also had numerous scuff and yellow staining from the polyurethane used to seal the floor. The entire staircase had the most amount of yellow staining. This includes the risers, stringers, and all spindles splashed with yellow poly. I met with the owner and salesman and we agreed that I would get a quote from my painter for the painting repairs. My current bids for painting range from $650.00-$775.00. I had a balance due of $677 with this company and suggested we call this project a wash and I would take care of the painting. offered to pay half or let them come and paint. This is completely unacceptable to me, as I did not cause any of the paint damage throughout the home, the hardwood floor crew did. I certainly did not wish to have any one of their crews in my home again either. I waited approx. 40 days for my project to be completed 100%, excluding the paint damage, when I only expected the job would take one week. I feel that the crew may have been very frustrated to keep coming back to my home and therefore, were hasty and careless. My home still smells very strong of polyurethane. I find this odd because I was under the impression the smell would disappear within 30 days and its been much longer. I am also pregnant and afraid I'm breathing in harmful chemicals. One other final issue I had was ordering my wood floor vents/registers. I was assured by my salesman that I could easily buy the floor vents myself, although every other floor contractor was going to take care of purchasing my new matching wood floor vents. I trusted him and began the process of ordering the floor registers. This was a complete nightmare. Ordering these vents took even longer than they did to do my work. It was not directly their fault for my dealings with a separate hardwood floor distributor, however it would have been much better customer service to provide everything turn-key. I suggested that as well to the owner so that the next customer does not have to chase after vents. "

"The estimator was very professional and answered all my questions, and even gave me recommendations of cleaning products to use on my existing wood floor. My 2 bedrooms, foyer and stair had carpet, which has gotten old with 2 pets. They gave options of installing new wood flooring vs. taking up the carpet and finish the existing and rough wood surface, they explained everything in detail. It was a very honest estimate, he even told me to hold off finishing on some areas because the finish is still good. Even on other areas that I wasn't getting an estimate on, they gave ideas of fixing deep floor scratches & damages my house cleaner had caused. We pulled the carpets ourselves. At first we wanted to do the stairs first and the connecting areas a few weeks later. When the crew came for the appointment, they pointed out it was a bad idea to do the stairs and the bedrooms separately because they were all connected and I could easily damage my newly finished stairs. They canceled the appointment for me (and probably wasting their whole work day) WITHOUT CHARGE. There were some problems with the sanding crew, they did not remove nails that surfaced after sanding and also didn't refill the tag holes and did not sand the new boards they put in before putting a finish on. However, overall, the floor looks extremely good. And the company came back and fixed any problems the sanding and finishing crew left behind. They were very pleasant to deal with. Now my floors are spectacular! Really honest company, I am impressed!!"

"I had a hard time getting the right person to talk to but when I did, they were able to come out and get the job done quite quickly. The price was a little high but they did come in and clean up after someone else's mess,"

"Their estimate was far less than that of the two other companies we had come out to do estimates ( floors was 20% less than their competitor), and the work they did was absolutely beautiful. Our floors look incredible. They were able to schedule us on relatively short notice to do our work. The only slightly negative experience we had with the company was that the sanding team showed up at the house 1/2 an hour later than we'd expected them and only were able to find the house (despite the large house numbers on our front door and grid-like streets in our neighborhood) because I went out into the street the second time they came by and waved them down. The were told to arrive between 7:30 and 8, and I was told they'd arrive at 7:30. I'd recommend confirming the time when you make the appointment to let them into your house if time is important. We'd gladly hire them again."

"They moved the furniture out of the way and put it back when they were finished. They also would the carpet in the room and let me see it first to see what it would look like and if I wanted it there. Their service was awesome. I was very pleased with their services."

"They did a great job showing up when they said they would, they didn't mess around and they went right to work. Things were moved out and they cleaned up the old tear off and debris before starting the installation. They did great quality work and they were professional at all times. We were very happy with the results."

"The jury is still out for my final opinion of . Some of spots did not come out very well. The worker that I had here just said that there is nothing he can do about it. He just seemed in a hurry to leave. I do now think that sanding the floor first instead of the doing the screening process may have been a better idea. I am not sure that I would use their services again."

" replaced our carpet pretty fast. They took a lot longer on the hardwood floors but the work they did was great. I would recommend them to all of my friends and family."

"I was very pleased with the service and I have no complaints. They did an excellent job and I would recommend this company to anyone. The workers were friendly and always on time which rates high in my book. I like people to be ready to work and work with quality."
