"It was a great experience from start to finish.
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
does excellent quality work for a fair price. He is honest, hardworking (actually stayed until 8:30 one cold night trying to finish one part so that bad weather would not throw off completion schedule. Very easy to work, his main goal seemed to be to make the customer happy. I would most definitely use him again for future needs and would gladly recommend him to family and friends."

Richmond Door Installers Reviews

"We were referred to
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
Canada by a friend for whom he had made and installed custom cabinets/drop zone near their kitchen. We were pleased with
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
's thorough and professional manner. He was very amenable to working with our special requests. As for the carpentry portion of it, I couldn't be happier. Considering the age of house and the level of difficulty, I was very impressed with
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
's skill. The door was properly hung and closes in perfect alignment. The weather stripping, threshold, exterior and interior trim are flawless. We did some staining ourselves because we wanted to use two different colors to highlight the carving, but the contractor finished the interior side, the second coat and the polyurethane sealer. There were some surprises on the job; for example, the contractor had to remove a row of brick header in order for the door to fit (for some reason the opening is shorter than the standard). Later, we had a minor delay and misunderstanding over the staining: who was going to do what and whether or not the original quote would cover the labor cost. However, the issue was handled with honesty and professionalism and we were able to work it out to both our satisfaction. The only reason I am not giving the job an excellent rating is because I had to touch up some of the stain and poly each night, plus scrape the windows. Ideally, the job could have been a little bit neater. However, we were still more than satisfied with the overall performance and the price/value. We would definitely recommend this contractor.

"One of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in home maintenance and improvement.
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
is not only a consummate professional, he's warm, friendly and a great communicator. He is truly an expert on home improvement and maintenance needs and when a job, or part of one, is outside his companies competencies, he is connected to professionals like himself who can get it done right. Our total face lift of a foreclosure we purchased is truly wondrous and done on time and on budget. I can't say enough good things about the entire experience, but anyone (including the neighbors) who has seen the before and after finds it hard to believe it is the same house. PS three of the neighbors have already asked for estimates to have
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
start work for them. PPSS... lock up your wife and daughters ;<) He not only charms the birds from the trees, he's a great person inside and out.

"From the initial visit and estimate to the job's completion, they were prompt, courteous, professional, and did what they promised to do when they promised it. The onsite crew was very respectful of our property and our dog - they made sure to close the gate so the dog couldn't get out, didn't track in any dirt (despite working on muddy ground) when coming in to use the downstairs bathroom, didn't leave ANY debris after finishing the job, took away all the old materials (screening, doors, railing). They called to let us know they were on their way both mornings (it was a two-day job), got right down to work, and worked apparently non-stop until they were done."

"I received three comparable proposals, but
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
had the most experience with the age, size and style of bathroom. I was able to look at his other work (which was excellent) and found a style that I liked and suited the house. He and his staff were always professional, tidy and kept me apprised. If you like a perfectionist then
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
is the right guy -- kind of like the
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
on Homes show on HGTV. He's also an excellent carpenter -- preferring to hand craft some items for quality-sake. I had planned on selling my house, but the bathroom is so fantastic that I may have to stay. Friends and family also love it, stay too long and bathe more frequently than normal! I would definitely recommend him and will use him again.

"Overall work was great.

came for estimate at scheduled time. Started and completed job on original time estimate. Work and cleanup was more than satisfactory. Would highly recommend

and his team."

"The men who installed the windows called me to ask if they could come a little early! I liked that. They were efficient in their work and cleaned up behind themselves. Before they left they instructed me in how my windows worked in order to clean them. I was pleased with the entire process and the professionalism exhibited by the installers."

"All 3 projects were completed, but all had errors in workmanship and quality. At first I said this wasn't a big deal, but after 6 months of living with these mistakes, they really, REALLY bug me. 1) The door frame installed was cut about 3/4" too short so there's a gap between the bottom of the frame and the floor. 2) The closet door replaced had 2 screw holes drilled in for the door knob. Every single door in our house has these holes lined up vertically at 12 & 6. He drilled them in horizontally at 3 & 9. AND, the new door knob is about 1/4" lower than the other door, so when you look at the closet doors, they're uneven. 3) The bathroom door was replaced but not properly hung. It sticks. You constantly have to slam the thing shut to get it to close all the way. It needs to be sanded in order to
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
it to close properly. I'm annoyed because these should have been very
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
, straightforward projects and yet, all of them have problems in workmanship. I mean, seriously, how hard is it to drill screw holes into a door so they match and are level with the other door? I hire a
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
so I do NOT have to do the work myself, and yet now I find myself going back to fix all the mistakes... so in the end, I'm not saving myself any time - and definitely not any money (especially since, if I want the door frame gap gone, I'll have to buy a whole new door frame and install it all over again). Sorry, but I don't think I'll be calling
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
again for any future projects.

"
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
and his crew did a great job. I got 3 estimates and
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
's was the best price. I liked the fact that it is a small company and I was in constant communication with the owner (
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
) as opposed to salesmen, etc.
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
was patient, detail oriented and available. After the majority of the work was done,
Richmond Door Installers Provider Name Locked
came over himself for several hours on a Saturday to clean up and finish detail work that even I had not seen. He was also willing to do a few little "extras" like replace flood lights, put blinds back up, etc. I was very happy with the company and would definitely hire them again.
