"I have been with them for a number of years. I have been with them ever since I was a little kid. I don't know different. They could be the worst dentists in the world and I wouldn't know any better because I have only been to one. They are just fine. The only thing about them is sometimes when you schedule a general meeting, they are not good at getting back to you. You have got to get back to them, which surprises me. I needed to call them to reschedule a cleaning because there were some issues with the scheduling that came up. I would have thought they would have chased me down to get me in because I am their point of revenue. I am on their system. I am in there, but I have dropped off their radar. I will eventually get around and get it done. If they had called me, cornered me, and nailed me for an appointment, I probably would have been in there for the cleaning that I missed. As far as their quality, they are good dentists and they do good work. They are modernized with the latest technology. All the x-rays are computerized. I think they are good. You don't have to wait very long. "

"I really like him. With doctors it is personal, and I just really like his personality. I don't know whether he is accepting new patients or not. I know that he teaches at the Medical College of Virginia on Fridays at the dental school there. I can get an afternoon appointment at 4 o'clock. He is very friendly and warm. He is gentle, which is very important for a dentist. I am very pleased with the dental work that he does. Since he is still teaching I would say he has a high knowledge of the newest technologies and such in his field. I cracked my tooth over the weekend and when I called Monday morning, they worked me in. He did not have any appointments available but he told me to come in and he would get me in to patch it up momentarily until I could get an appointment. I have been going to him for 3 or 4 years now and have not had any problems. "

"The filling only took a half hour to replace and was quite painless. I arrived at Dr

's office a few minutes early for my appointment and my appointment started early as well. Dr

explained the procedure and then very gently administered the novocaine. He also reassured me a couple of times that this would be a quick and easy procedure. While I was waiting for the novocaine to take effect in the dental chair, I had my pick of TV channels to watch. Once Dr

determined that my mouth was sufficiently numb, and asked if I was ready, he started the procedure. He drilled for a couple of minutes. I felt the drill against my tooth but it was not painful. I raised my hand and Dr

stopped drilling. I asked if it was OK that I felt the drilling although there was no pain. He told me that this was normal and that the drilling was already 80% done. He asked how I was doing. I told him fine. He asked if I was OK to continue the procedure, and I said yes. Dr

finished the drilling shortly thereafter, and applied the filling mixture. He then had me bite down on paper a couple of times as he buffed and polished the filling so the bottom of my tooth would align with my other teeth. While he was doing this he asked me a couple more times in a kind way how I was doing. I found this very reassuring and told him so. Dr

told me he remembered when he was younger having dental work done where the dentist didn't seem to care how he felt. Dr

never wants the patient to feel this way so that's why he continually checks to make sure how the person is feeling. Shortly therafter the procedure was done. I was delighted to be leaving a half hour after I got there. I felt good about how efficient and painless the procedure was. The novocaine wore off in a couple of hours and everything still felt great. This was an excellent experience."

"My tooth started hurting over the weekend and so on Monday I called the dental office. They said to come in about 2:00. When I arrived the front desk person said hello; I waited for a few minutes in the front arean and then the assistant took me back to the operatory. The assistant took a digital xray and then after about ten minutes the dentist came in and told me I needed a root canal or have the tooth pulled. I decided on the root canal; I got a prescription for pain and one for infection. When all questions were answered I got up and the front

person exlplained to me how much my co-pay was for the root canal. I made an appointment to come back the following week. Everything went fine when I went back."
