Woodworking Reviews in Raleigh

Sent email for an estimate on 10 February 2014. Received a response same date and had an appointment the morning of 11 February, 2014.
Work was agreed upon and started around 27 February.
Provider installed all new plumbing for a hot and cold double basin in the unfinished side of my basement.
Provider built out a bar in the finished side which included framing, dry wall on walls and ceiling, granite counter top, custom shelves and all finish work to get to paint ready.
Provider did finish work in living/kitchen to include fixing floor transition where a wall had been removed, custom columns, ceiling and drywall repair, installed new wood framing, transition pieces and completed everything to paint ready.
Was happy with the quality of work, politeness of workers on site and their professionalism that I added another 1000 dollar project to the basement before they were done. They were accommodating and able to get me on the schedule within a couple days of previous project.
Overall communication, work and interaction was great.

This review actually covers two jobs done back-to-back. We were so pleased with the first job we decided to get some additional work done. Very professional and courteous, on time, and responsive. Work was high quality. We enjoyed dealing with
, who was good about telling us when something didn't need repair, but only paint. Highly recommended.

I am a DIY guy but knew this was beyond my skill set. I was impressed with the workmanship and all other aspects of the job, exceeded my expectations.

The job was a bit tricky given the location, but
Raleigh Carpenters Provider Name Locked
and his assistant
created a custom repair to prevent further damage. I was pleased with
the individualized attention and will use his company again for future

Excellent work! Ed

spent considerable time with me to learn what I wanted and he delivered. Bookcase covers one wall of room, floor to ceiling, beautiful stained finish to match furniture, crown molding I asked for, shelf dimensions I requested, just perfect.

I bought Angie's big deal for five hours of wood rot repair.
Raleigh Carpenters Provider Name Locked
came out to see what needed to be replaced and sent me an estimate for $800.00. They came out as scheduled, worked efficently and cleaned up the work area. I had to call him back because he forgot to replace the trim board above the door. He took care of that within a few days. Once the work was complete he informed me there would be a 3% fee for a credit card payment. I the future I will find a highly rated service provider that does not charge an additional credit card fee.

The process was about a week...The site inspector came judged what was to be done..the work was scheduled for monday of next week but weather made it impossible to start the process..Promptly the next day the carpenter arrived began work outside on the
french door rot....then the stair railings,, in short order all the work was completed..to my great satisfaction...I would definetly recommend
Raleigh Carpenters Provider Name Locked
for any carpentry jobs you might have.....

We are extremely pleased. We initially contacted them because we had an interior french door installed in a previously open doorway and the current floor transition strip was too narrow to cover the gap into the next room. We asked at flooring stores, but they all said we needed a custom transition strip made. I didn't think
Raleigh Carpenters Provider Name Locked
would take such a small job, but they came out promptly, looked, measured and said they'd be happy to do it. We were impressed with their responsiveness so asked about an estimate to retread our previously carpeted, then DIY paint-job-gone-bad stairs. The estimate seemed reasonable so we had that done too. They were prompt, attentive, and easy to work with. The stairs are custom stained oak retreads and turned out beautifully. Every time we walk up the stairs, we find ourselves saying, "I love these stairs!" This might sound silly, but their attention to detail is so great that we even love looking at the caulk lines. They are so precise! (Thanks Nick!) If responsiveness, attention to detail, reasonable price, and pleasant, knowledgeable craftsmen are important to you, you can't go wrong with
Raleigh Carpenters Provider Name Locked
. We will definitely contact them first for any other woodwork needs.

Clearly it was a scam to try and get a bigger job. I wanted 3 hours of work for $99. He showed up and was looking for a bigger job. Nothing has happened. I would like a refund for my $99
