"The original work went well and we were quite pleased. The installer (Mr.

"We recently engaged
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
as represented by Jairo G to build our new deck with composite materials. The project was to be completed within two weeks at maximum. A deposit of roughly two thirds of the total price was required at deposit as material costs were to be a considerable part of the job as the composite material is fairly expensive. We signed a contract on a Thursday and work was supposed to start on the following Monday. Our check was cashed that day.
Monday rolls around and there are no workers, no delivery of materials, and no contact by Jairo G. The following Friday a portion of the materials are delivered. Jairo G and two other workers showed up Saturday and installed the foundation posts of the deck. For the next two weeks, only one worker returned on a part-time basis to slowly finish the foundation,

the
deck floor and finish one of two benches. In the middle of those two weeks, the deck boards were delivered. At this point the project is behind schedule and Jairo is barely communicating with us and ignoring our requests for updates. Additionally, the one worker who did show up kept an extremely cluttered work space and did not clean up after himself, i.e. trash in our yard and spare lumber and composite everywhere.
Going into the fourth week there is no worker, no contact from Jairo G, no nothing. We press Jairo G on the order for the remaining materials, which constitute about 40% of theremaining deposit we gave him and he goes silent. At that point we start researching Jairo G and the validity of
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
. We discover he goes by a variety of names and business addresses and the
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
website uses a non-working telephone number and email address. It seems clear to me at this point that
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
Builders and Jairo are financially unstable and have been using my deposit money to fund other projects that they didn’t have the money to complete. They will not be completing our project and we would never use them again. I recommend being extremely cautious if you are considering
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
for your next project. They were extremely frustrating to work with and there is no guarantee they will fulfill their obligations.

On a last note, the new contractor completing our project has found several structural problems with the portion of the work

Builders completed. Aesthetically, they used

stamped boards on trim for all to see.

"Great handyman! We needed to re-screen our screened-in porch entirely. JD, the owner, did a fabulous job! He took the time to understand exactly how we wanted it done and he was meticulous. He was friendly and very professional throughout the whole project. He even helped me put the room back together once it was completed. His price was great! My husband was very impressed by the quality of the workmanship and I'm thrilled it was done in time for an upcoming event. I could not be happier! We would definitely recommend him and will use him again!"

"Finally! It's good to see you listed on Angie's list.. I have had to send your number/website around when people asked, but now I can send them to Angie's list and they can see all your glowing reviews

The services requested were the addition of a screened-in porch where we had an existing deck. We had just finished building our brand new house within less than a year and we realized we wanted a screened-in porch. I figured that this would require completely removing the existing deck, ripping up part of our brand new sodded yard to do it, and spending a ton of time 'in construction' after we had just spent a year getting the house built. I had a few companies in to estimate the work and only 1 (HomeRenu) had the great idea of using the existing deck as the foundation. The rest of the companies wanted me to spend extra money to tear down a brand new deck foundation and rebuild it. HomeRenu went the extra mile in checking with an engineer who told him the existing foundation would work fine. The original builders had built it well enough to support a porch. It was then I knew I had a contractor that cared was interested in getting me the best porch without forcing me to pay for additional items that weren't necessary. I knew this was going to go well.

Once we got the initial details out of the way, they went to work on the removal of all existing deck-work except the foundation and the flooring. The blueprints were shown to me with the requests I had put in and he went over all the steps to building this on our new home. HomeRenu came back, day after day, and worked diligently to satisfy not only my concerns, but the concerns of our Home Owners Association. I think this was one of the areas that concerned the most at first. Our house is in the
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
Creek Country Club and they have extremely strict guidelines on what can be built, how it is to be built, right down to the colors and architectural styles. HomeRenu worked with me and the
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
to ensure it met their criteria as well as met mine.

As the build continued, the walls went up, the framing was set and he was heading in to do the roof next. That is when
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
's (HomeRenu) colors started to shine. We realized as the structure was coming up that we hadn't thought about the light that we were cutting off by covering one of our kitchen windows. So we asked if it were possible to put in some skylights in the new porch roof to add some more light.
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
took some time to check if he could redesign it and whether we could afford the additional cost to buy the skylights we wanted. The fact that he could stop mid-stream to include a change order was a life saver. They continued on with the roof (adding the new skylights) and we were extremely happy with the light after it was complete.

We, of course, were very skeptical that the new porch might not flow perfectly with our new home since it wasn't built by the same crew, but to my surprise, it looked like it was meant to be there. The colors matched the house perfectly, the shingles matched perfectly.. it was a fantastic build. Once the porch was built, the 1 year old deck was power washed and then stained to a nice dark brown to match the insets of the ceiling. The interior look like it was out of a magazine.

So, to say the least, I am very satisfied with the work HomeRenu did.. and all within my budget. If I had gone with one of the other builders, not only would I have spent more money, but based on their 'portfolio pictures', I am confident their finished result wouldn't have look as beautiful! Way to go HomeRenu. A++ in my book. PS. Thanks for letting me use the pics from your site to upload for the report.. I couldn't find mine from my old camera!

"I don't know how many times
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
carried the solid wooden door up and down the stairs, out to his truck, to get the door shaved to the right size for the door frame. Our house is twenty-two years old, so the bottom of the door frame is about a 1/2 inch off from the top. He put on the hardware on the door and the door frame, and installed the door. It looks great!"

built my home in Chapel Hill and did an amazing job. The house won the Gold
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
in the Parade of homes in 2005. We decided to move to
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
and found a 20 year old home with more than it's share of very odd issues. First person I called was
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
. He got an architect involved and helped us turn this new home into an amazing property. He has an amazing talent for seeing the potential and getting things done. The work is stunning and the prices are very fair. People doing before and after walk throughs are blown away. He is honest, easy to work with, and very customer focused. I have built about 6 homes, and have not seen anyone as good as
Raleigh Sunrooms Provider Name Locked
at building from the ground up. Now, I see first hand that he can remodel and renovate equally well. he works from Chapel Hill through

"This was a great experience. They gave me an estimate and references. They showed up on time for the estimate. They were great about explaining details of the job, and offering input if something seemed like it might not be the best idea. "

"Bad, Frustrating, Aggravating, Expensive! I scheduled the job during the summer of 2007, the salesman was excellent, promised me the world! The job was supposed to be completed by the first of November and was supposed to take one week to complete. They kept saying they were waiting for permits, etc. They hadn't even applied because they sent a surveyor out in mid November. (As an Oh by the way, my property taxes have almost doubled as a result of the survey, permits and new appraisal triggered by my sunroom). After much proding they finally started in mid November (they finished the end of January). First they chainsawed my relatively new deck to set footings. I didn't have a problem with the chain saw, I had a problem with tearing out more deck then necessary, which ended up in additional expense down the road. Then I waited. Finally they came to install and the room was not what I had ordered but it was too late to change because it was virtually constructed before I could tell it wasn't right. The process went on for ever. They finally more or less completed it at the end of January (three months after what they had promised). If I had known about the time issues I wouldn't have done it at all because I needed the room to be completed before the cold weather set in. Then I still had to have the deck rebuilt by someone else. In addition, I was assured that the glass was "special" and that temperature control was not a big issue because of the special glass. I see as much as a 30 or 40 degree temperature variation in one day. I have to use an auxillary heater/air conditioner (which they sold me). This unit is supposed to be thermostatically controlled. That doesn't work either, it's either on or off. The product looks a lot better in the showroom or on paper then it is in real life. And the sales pitch has nothing to do with what you get! I have not reported on this until now because they had assured me that they would correct some of these issues. Almost 2.5 years later, I don't think that's going to happen. "
