scheduled the service in a very timely manner and arrived at the set time on the agreed upon date. He trimmed and shaped all the shrubs that I requested and did a great job. Attention to detail was top notch. Would definitely use him again.

"Up-front the job went well and the quality of work was excellent. There were a series of rain storms that slowed work during this particular installation so, times may not be representative of similar jobs during fair weather. The team spent four days removing trees, grading earth, removing stumps, and spreading under-laymen gravel. Brick installation took an additional three work days. Finish work and cleanup took one day. From start to finish the work was completed in just over two weeks. The quality of work was excellent. The owner,
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
, stopped by every day that workers were there. The site foreman was professional, informative and responsive our day to day needs. During idle times, the site was picked up and left in a state of reasonable organization. The cost was very reasonable. In comparison to other bids, we took seven in total,
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
was one up from being the least expensive and about $900 below the
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
price. From the time of commitment to the start of work was about four weeks. We paid just under 60% before work started and the remainder after final inspection. The only negative was the rolling damage caused by the equipment crossing back and forth in the front yard. While guard boards were laid down, the number of trips and weight of material left a path of damaged grass and compressed soil that later on had to be aerated. The fix for this was under $100 and the yard has since revived and looks fine. In our judgment this was a predictable side affect that could have been mentioned up front but still, to make an omelet one does have to break a few eggs.

"It was a great experience as he is a pleasant and professional person whom was very timely, responsive and keep me up to date and informed of the work and his findings. I would recommend his services to anyone and I too intend to use his services again in the future.

responded promptly to our selecting them on Thursday as an Angie's Deal. They arrived Monday morning as arranged, with appropriate tools and skilled workers. They worked very efficiently. I was amazed at how much they accomplished in 2 hours. We have just move here from out of state, so yard and the shrubs were straggly and overgrown. When they finished, the whole property looked fantastic. We liked their friendly professionalism so much, that we contracted for them to return in February with equipment to trim the very tall crepe myrtles and evergreen trees and begin preparing the exposed bare ground spaces for planting and maintaining lawn grass.
I especially appreciated the way the leader listened carefully to our concerns about the landscaping and what tasks I prefer to do myself. He also helped me understand what is required to maintain the landscaping in this climate.

"The price was very reasonable, and we were very satisfied with the service for the first several months. However, we began having communication problems with
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
, the owner. For example, the back yard at the rental property had some water drainage problems owing to above-average rainfall and the slope of the yard. We told
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
and asked if he could help us fix the problem or recommend someone else to do the job, which he did. The problem is that his crew simply quit cutting the back yard without telling us that they would. Even when the water drained and the backyard was dry, they didn't resume cutting the yard until our tenants complained and we called
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
. Around the same time, we asked
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
to trim a holly and some other bushes in our own yard. Rather than carrying away the trimmings (including about 6x8 ft of overgrown holly tree), the crew tossed them in a natural area between our house and our neighbors, which irritated our neighbors to no end because the mess landed on their property. When we asked
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
about it, his response was that removal is an additional fee. (No apology for failing to mention removal options in the first place.) The crew did come back to remove the trimmings, but it caused a lot of confusion and unhappy feelings on our neighbors' part because it took several weeks to get cleaned up. On both of these occasions,
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
's
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
implied it was our fault for not realizing automatically that his crew would act as they did. My husband and I did not appreciate that
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
failed to take the time to explain the full extent of his services or decisions regarding our properties. We stopped using Lawn & Order last August.
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
sent an email about a month after we stopped doing business with him to remind us to aerate and seed in the fall and to apologize for the confusion.
(On a side note, my husband handled most of the interaction with
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
last summer, and I imagine acted inappropriately more than once. On the other hand, he is very protective and viewed
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
's interaction with me as disrespectful, particularly when we received no apology for the oversights/miscommunication. In the end, though, the decision to stop using Lawn & Order was mine, and based entirely on the lack of professionalism and communication from
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
prior to my husband's involvement.)

and his crew are incredible. It was cold and damp, but they managed to trim bushes and clear my lawn and around my house of about four years' worth of leaves and pine needles in such a short period of time! AND, the gutters (at least the parts that were not frozen). When I first contacted his company,
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
came out and gave me an estimate. It was right on target. This spring, he is going to come back and do some landscaping and in the fall, seed the yard. I cannot say enough about their professionalism, punctuality and the quality of work -- and I mean work. They did not stop until the job was completed.

"The 3 gentlemen who came to clean up our yard were early for the appointment. Once they understood the job requirements, they got right to work. The job was done well and professionally. These guys worked hard and carefully. I believe we got our money's worth and then some. No question, I would recommend them and will likely hire them again.

"Was very pleased. They did a thorough job removing leaves and sticks, and weeding. Definitely feel like I got my money's worth. Professional.

Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
(
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
) used to be my go to go for my lawn. He used to be amazing. Agape used to turn up regularly, do a great job, clean the yard up and generally make it look great. I worked with them at two properties. Recently I don't know what happened but
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
has become a ghost - he simply does not do what he says he will do. I should also add I'm on whatever the highest tier of his regular maintenance package is. I should also add that
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
could be making a significant amount of money from me if he'd prove that he'd actually turn up and do the job.
He came to my place November 7 to look at the back yard and evaluate the cost to remove some trees, level it out and re-sod it. He also said he'd get my wife some curly bushes that next week. He also said he'd get me a few ideas for how he could make the front and side of the house look better with plants.
I emailed
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
December 3rd. Nothing. I emailed him again December 11. He got back to me December 12:
"I really apologize for dropping the ball on those plants and ideas for the front - I just got behind and kept forgetting to email you out suggestions. I did get a total tree removal price of right around $2,400 for all the trees we are looking at removing in the back. We can plant the 2 decorative shrubs tomorrow and ill be in touch tonight with more suggestions as well."
December 13 came, and went.
He emailed me that night: "I apologize - I had to special order the plants bc they didn't have them in stock. They should be in mid next week."
That was the last I heard of
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
. No reference to the landscaping. No reference to flowers. No followup a week later.
Considering he doesn't seem to be willing to email me, I thought I'd share with Angie's List the story and see if that scares him out of retirement.
I should also add that his guys started strong but have not been quite as thorough - they don't remove leaves, they push them onto the street. They do a good job mowing, I suppose, and clean up the back alright, but they are sporadic.
I'd love it if
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
had a turnaround here, but I do not expect it.

"1-- Mowing: This part of their service went well for the first couple of times they came. After that, it appeared that who ever was responsible for my lawn was in a rush. Pine needles were still in the yard and on the drive and walkway. In
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
's defense, I must say that when I first called him, he told me that he was extremely busy. Had he been too busy to properly tend to my yard, I would have thought he would have said so.
2-- Cleaning Gutters:
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
told me that they cleaned gutters as a part of their service. When I arrived home after they had been there to "clean" the gutters, I could not believe what they had done-- or better said, not done. There were leaves and debris all over the walk and at the sides of my house. As for the roof, it was still laden with pine needles. The charges for that service were taken off my bill. When I spoke with
Raleigh Lawn Services Provider Name Locked
, he advised that his crew leader had to leave early that day and did not check behind his workers. He did apologize offer to have someone come over and clean the leaves and debris from my yard if I wanted him to. Had he said that he was sending someone over to do that, I would have thanked him. But the way it was put, I declined and cleaned it up myself.
