Hardscaping Reviews in Raleigh

Had 4 guys that arrived early - (7am) - very hard working. Done each day before noon probably. First day we discussed the project, made sure they were clear on everything that needed to be done. We asked a few questions that
to a change of the plan and installation of a surface catch basin that wasn't originally considered. They then set to work and quickly dug ditches, installed lineer and pipe, tied everything together. Second day the poured gravel, put on soil, seed, straw, etc. I was worried that the lawn would get torn up with their Bobcat, but it did not. Yard looks great with a sort of minimal scar where the french drain went in. There was also not a single piece of gravel left where they had dumped it temporarily in the driveway We had a lot of rain over the weekend and the yard seems to have drained much better than previously.

I can only say I feel like it is Christmas in
! I started writing this within minutes of the departure of
and his wonderful crew. My husband and I were DIY homeowners until a few years ago. It has been a challenge finding contractors who we trust to work to our specifications and do a quality job.
We purchased a great deal offered for a small area project and it was completed today and done beautifully!
, his estimator, came out and met with me after the work was put on the calendar in April. She took the measurements and discussed various details to get an idea of what were having done. The project date did not change or move despite the many months between.
went over everything the same morning of the project start date, because we were unable to meet with him the prior Saturday. He came early with his equipment, ready to start work on time (does that ever happen?!). His crew waited patiently as we discussed the plans thoroughly. It was definitely not in his best interests to keep his crew idle, but he never rushed me through the process and made sure everything was talked through thoroughly.
For our project, we needed additional drainage and this happens to be a specialty for him. He doesn't cut corners on materials or workmanship. My husband is a civil engineer and was very happy to know that
considers all structural aspects, not simply placement and implementing the design. He has confirmed that
'knows what he is doing!' For instance, we originally also wanted a patio, but he pointed out some of the issues we would have if we pursued it as planned. He recommended a different approach, followed promptly by a changed estimate and we are considering it as a future project. I was on the schedule, since April, and the work was expected to last the better part of the week. However, the change in plans and scope of the work meant the smaller piece was completed in only 1.5 days. My husband was traveling and we couldn't discuss the patio in time. As a business owner myself, I imagine this created some challenges for
regarding his crew's schedule. However, he never made me feel uncomfortable about needing additional time as he wanted me to feel we were making the right decision.
In addition to
' technical knowledge, I would trust him, just as much as a good landscape architect, to make a suggestion on design layout. My final thought, when they were finished, was that I looked forward to another opportunity to hire them. He is the first contractor I have comes across, who I completely trust to get it done properly. His crew is professional and well trained and
properly manages them. He doesn't just drop off and pick up as I have seen with crews working at neighboring properties. Everything was well manicured and returned to better condition that it was found, upon their departure.
He does the kind of work that is an investment in your property, not just a luxury to enjoy and I would highly recommend this business!

Hardscaping reviews in Raleigh

The job went very well. As usual,
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
and his crew were very professional and took great care of my wife and I before, during, and after the job was completed. He helped us pick out the right pavers, and really worked with me before hand to understand what I wanted him to do, and we laid it all out in paint in the back yard....More /> When the work got started, everything moved pretty quickly. The job took about a week start to finish.
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
and his guys are hard working! They really can bust it out!
But, they do fantastic work! I can't possibly tell you in this review how pleased my wife and I are with the work he and his crew performed. What was a bland 10x12 concrete slab is now a tremendous outdoor living area that is so much more. We actually have room for patio furniture now!
don't mess around wondering if those "other" guys you are about to call know what they are doing.
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
and his crew KNOWS what they are doing and you won't be disappointed.
We went from a 10x12 concrete slab to nearly 700 square feet of paved patio surface area! The backyard has never been better!
Thank you

for you hard work, yet again.

P.S. Yes, I may have you come back and do the landscape lighting in 2014. ;-)

We had another contractor set for this job but due to scheduling conflicts and poor communication we had to let them go as they were going to miss the start date of the project. This was unacceptable because we had a tight window scheduled before the Thanksgiving to get he job done. We called
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
the next day and he had a opening the very next week to do the job before the holiday. They showed up first thing on scheduled start date and if it weren't for rain during the week they would have been done before the end of the week.
They removed our old deck, and a collapsed retaining wall and rebuilt both a new wall and patio that look great. They also added a last minute request for a sitting wall in the patio on the spot with no problem. They also removed some old yard waste for free.
They will be returning in the spring to install some pine straw and mulch and to re-sod areas disturbed by the patio installation.

We were so thrilled with the excellent work done by

Fantastic. As well as a completely new look and feel to the area, it is now wheelchair accessible, which is important in a seniors-only area as this. In addition, we did the waterproofing both in front and in the back patio. Waterproofing takes two days in dry weather, but is well worth it. The stone and pavers look exceptional after being waterproofed and shed precipitation beautifully.
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
and his crew are extremely professional, reliable, and pay exquisite attention to detail in every phase of each project. I recommend them without reservation.

We hired
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
after getting estimates from three other contractors to build a patio. What really impressed
us with
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
was his suggestions of how design the patio. We initially wanted a
large rectangular paver patio.
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
suggested a smaller patio with some
landscaping and design. We talked about it and once we realized that it would
cost the same, we decided to go with
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
's suggestion. He sketched out some
ideas and sent them to us. He also went over all of the options and provided
prices for the various paver types and their quality and durability. After we
decided on the pavers and design, we let it up to
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
to pick the plants for
the landscaping. We basically left it in his hands and let him decide how it
should all be done. It took about 10 days to complete. About halfway through those
10 days, we left to go on a vacation and when we got back the patio was
completed. It was fantastic! It was better than we ever could have imagined.
The work was flawless. They had to take out part of my fence to get the
excavator into the yard. Not only was the fence back in place like it had never
been touched, they managed to get an excavator, the kind on metal tracks, into
and out of the yard without damaging it at all. I was expecting it be tore up,
and I was OK with that, but you never would have known an excavator was in
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
was a little more expensive than a few of the others, but it was
well worth it. You get what you pay for. I would hire him again in a heartbeat
if I ever need more landscaping work done.

We had a huge makeover in the front and back outer areas of our home, correcting drainage in many cases. We live in a large wooded area. The
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
company provided the best service we have ever received. The owner,
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
, is a good communicator who works with you through the process. He is quite good at capturing your hardscape/landscape goals, and his team were remarkably productive each day that they worked, even though there were delays due to rainy weather.
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
's team members go beyond the usual service - they approach each task with creativity and enormous skill. They are the most conscientious workers I have ever seen, very detailed with the stone building, path design, patio, soil placement, etc. Because of their good work and reputation, they are very much in demand. So, you may have to wait in line for them to get to your home, but the wait is very much worth it.

Booking delays and problems with the quality of the fescue sod. After replacing the sod twice, the third time is the charm
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
was very responsive to the problem. All look very good and would use them again.

We did this with an Angie's List Big Deal. Of course
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
was very busy, but called the same day we signed up an scheduled an evaluation visit promptly. He explained what our options were and we developed a plan. There were many rain delays, so the date of completion was pushed back several times. They arrived on time the day we finally agreed upon. I asked for some further upgrades ( I wanted the downspouts extended to the
Raleigh Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
of my yard. We got a quote right there and they completed that work at the same time.
The work was beautiful and the drainage all performs flawlessly. A
As with many contractors, they did try to change (expand) the scope of the project. We held firm and got the paver patio we wanted and better drainage was the extra we paid for.
