The paint crew arrived unannounced one day earlier than the contract specified to start the job, which is good. However, I had planned to remove window treatments that day because the contract specifies doing that was my responsibility. Since I hadn't been told the crew would be early, the crew chief agreed to remove the treatments so they could proceed. My assumption was that since I agreed to allow the crew remove the treatments - so they could start the job early - the company would agree to re-install them.
To my amateur eyes, the paint job was somewhere between fair and good. Most of the punch list items weren't serious, but the list did include obvious items such as areas easily seen that weren't painted, areas where the paint was obviously streaked, hardware such as a shelf support
not being reinstalled, one railing left unpainted where it's match should also have been painted, etc. There were several places where the paint extended beyond the border where it should have stopped and it was left in place. It took three visits for me to accept that the punch list items were completed.
Regarding the treatments, the crew re-installed a few, but a company rep decided it wasn't their responsibility and that work was stopped. The quality of some of the those re-installations was poor (very loose brackets, and important hardware on two sets of drapes not re-installed). The rep and I talked about that and they re-installed one or two more treatments, but not all.
In addition to the window treatments, I asked the rep to re-hang a small message board the crew had removed. He refused and told me that in the future he'd only complete work in my house the realtor authorized him to do. This was after I had already paid the full invoice amount of $2966.66. My overall D rating is largely based on that refusal.
I did hire the contractor to complete a small associated paint project that wasn't in the original contract, but that was before the refusal. If he had made the refusal first, I wouldn't have authorized the add-on.

The whole process was handled very professionally.
Paint & Restoration provided a detailed estimate of all the work that would need to be done on my home before the contract was offered. All my questions were answered satisfactorily from the outset. I was kept in the loop throughout the entire process. I am a detailed person and this project was a great success. We are very pleased with the end result!!! I believe I got what I paid for and it was truly worth the money. I would definitely recommend
Paint & Restoration.

, the owner, quoted a good price for this work. It's a big house with a large deck, and the trim needed a lot of prep. They showed up on time with a large crew of about 7 and spent about 3 - 4 days. On subsequent days, about 4 - 5 crew would show up.
The sanding left very little dust and they left the worksite clean.
They switched crew bosses on the last 2 days, and I wasn't as happy with the results on the trimwork on the 2nd floor, as I was on the 1st floor. When I mentioned I wasn't happy with some of the work on the 2nd floor,
Raleigh Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
responded immediately. He sent the original crew boss back with another painter to fix up all the problem areas. The trim and doors all look great now!
The outside decking and garden stairs look great too. We used a semi-transparent stain, to give the deck longer lasting protection, and I'm pleased with how it all looks and optimistic that we won't need to stain again in 2 years. The crew was careful to protect the plants & shrubs surrounding the deck.
Overall, I'm very satisfied with

. I've used them before and I'll use them again.

This company painted the exterior of my house, and did some painting inside, as well. The most outstanding part of their work, to me, is the preparation they did before they started painting. Each of them were meticulous when it came to details. As the job progressed, they were positive and open to my questions and willing to re-do any part of the project right away that did not meet my satisfaction. My husband and I both felt they did above and beyond all that they said they would do. We are having some problems with the roof and the chimney has not been sealed correctly by the roofer we hired previously.
Raleigh Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
does many things other than painting so we have talked with him about fixing those issues. He is in the process of acquiring a general contractor's license, as well. My husband contracted and paid for the services and is not available at this time to give me that information, but he was satisfied with the price.

We can not say enough nice things about Junior and his associate! The week that they were suppose to come my mother-in-law passed away. He was very understanding and fit us in as soon as he could once we got back into town and things settled down. His work is excellent, they worked professionally, efficiently and clean. We highly recommend Junior and will use his company in the future!

As other reviewers have said, this is a top notch company. The owner responded to my initial call immediately. He came out to do an estimate that evening. He scheduled the work for less than a week later. He arrived 1 hour early on the scheduled day, and even though I couldn't be at the house until our scheduled time, he waited patiently. He was very quick to set up and get working. He brought another person to help who was also very courteous and professional. He was very pleasant and neat and a quick worker. He left the area very clean and the walls look fantastic! I would definitely use him again. I had to purchase roller covers and the paint. That was not included in the price. Overall, it took the 2-man crew 3 hours on day 1 and 2 hours on day 2 to complete the two rooms. Very well worth the money. Highly recommended.

We recently had
Raleigh Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
do some repairs on a box chimney on the outside of my home. A small black hole had appeared about half way up the side of the house in a section that enclosed a chimney flue. Our son climbed up and pulled some siding down to find what appeared to be a extensive area of damage inside the box. I requested some estimates but when
Raleigh Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
came out he got the job. I was impressed with his thorough explanation of what would be required and his price was good. The job is now finished and I am very satisfied with it. The crews
Raleigh Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
sent out were very professional and all did what I thought was an excellent job.
Raleigh Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
watched the progress and made sure each portion of the repair was completed correctly. He even did a few touch ups himself.
Raleigh Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
is a pleasure to work with. If you call him on the phone he answers.
Raleigh Interior Painters Provider Name Locked
treated my work as an emergency and squeezed it into his already busy schedule. The job even came in a little under his quote.

He was very responsive, both in the quoting and the actual work. The house looks fantastic! He recommended a darker shade of paint, and I am very glad I listened to him.
