"Untimately the company was not selected for the job.  The owner,
Raleigh Door Installers Provider Name Locked
, was professional and pleasant during the estimation process.  He asked all the appropriate questions and detailed the necessary steps for completion.  However, his estimate came close to $7,000.  The other 2 companies came in under $3,000. Just to clarify, the estimates were for labor and materials needed to install.  I had already paid for the door and did not work with the contractor in purchasing the door."

"Mr.
Raleigh Door Installers Provider Name Locked
was very friendly and seemed to understand all that I asked him to do.  (He was recommended by a family member.) However, I think he must have lost his notes.  The tile I asked to have installed on the walls of one bathroom were installed on the floor, instead, and had to be redone.  The marble on both bathroom floors was scratched and marred with spots from chemicals, which he said he could not see.  The tile man came back and used sandpaper on the marble floors to "fix" the scratches, which made it worse.  The painters, he said, worked at his own home often, and he said he highly recommended them.  I told him that there was oil paint in my house and asked how they would prep.  He assured me the painters were professional and knew what to do.  When we got back from a trip after they had finished painting, I could see that there was dirt in the paint on the walls and trim, and that they had used latex paint on the oil paint, which I could remove easily with a fingernail.  (The paint in my whole house that was done by this company is now peeling off.)  The hardwood floors were scheduled to be done after the painting, and so the stain is all over the baseboards.  Many little things were completed shoddily.  For example, a cabinet in the bathroom was installed, must not have fit, and reinstalled.  The holes from the first installation were/are visible, but not repaired/filled.  Hardware installed on an expensive bathroom cabinet split the wood.  He had to replace some doors in the bathroom that were painted so poorly.  Mr.

said he bought new doors, but they were so scratched and dented they looked like they had been purchased from a restore.   I do not recommend this company because of the poor quality of workmanship.  The long term consequences of living with the disappointment are not worth hiring them.

"The price was a little high but it had a lifetime warranty so we were pleased. We really liked working with them. They also did our gutters about two years ago and we really truly like them. Right after we got our gutters we had our house painted by another person and the paint guys messed up the gutters and they came out to fix the gutters because of the lifetime warranty even though it was someone else's fault. If we sell our house the warranty will transfer to the new owners and we really like that. "

did an outstanding job for us. We will highly recommend this company to friends and family. First and foremost the work turned out great.
Raleigh Door Installers Provider Name Locked
was punctual each time we met, and offered a reasonable quote within the time promised. They kept a neat work area and cleaned up all trash as agreed. The level of craftsmanship is excellent, and I sense they are capable of much more complex work than we contracted. Anyone can check out

"I couldn't be happier with my experience! Mr.
Raleigh Door Installers Provider Name Locked
took the time to make sure he understood what I wanted and that the work was done to my satisfaction. He was a true craftsman who planned ahead to get things "just right" and had a nice balance of seeking my input and providing guidance about how things would look best, sometimes doing mock ups so I could see how they would look. The cabinetry and woodwork are beautiful! He was punctual, followed through on what he promised, and left the worksite cleaner than he found it. His assistant and others he helped me hire to do related work were all excellent."

"After about a week, I called him again to see if he had received my email. I asked him to call me back if he had not. I never heard from him again. If he couldn't do the job, I would have appreciated him at least telling me that. "

"Bill
Raleigh Door Installers Provider Name Locked
's estimate was slightly higher than another I got but I decided to go with him after reading the favorable reviews on Angie's List and also, after meeting him in person. He has an engineering background and it is apparent that he is intelligent, educated and conscientious. I also liked his estimate which took 3 days to receive- it was very detailed and he had an exact plan mapped out. He ran into a few problems such as heavy tree roots while digging the holes for the screen but did not become frustrated and persevered, doing a quality job. He had an assistant most of the time,

, who was also nice but Bill was always there working closely with

and doing an equal amount of manual labor while directing the project. His measurements and construction techniques were very precise and well thought out. I also thought he had a good eye and flair for design. He says he will also do interior handyman type jobs so I intend to call him for small projects/repairs in the future. You could leave him alone in your house and feel comfortable and confident.

"We had a really positive experience. We interviewed 5 other contractors from Angie's list and generally found them to be promising but
Raleigh Door Installers Provider Name Locked
really stood out at first because he was very prompt and detail oriented. In the end, we were glad we chose him and feel we can turn to him in the future again. In the end the work he completed was very good and that is what is most important however we also felt he was a really good person to work with. When he tells you he will do something he will do it and does not make excuses. We also feel he is a very honest person and fair. As I mentioned, we were impressed with the quality of the work. He does not take shortcuts and is aware of important details such as matching the existing look of the house. He also listened to our requests and was not afraid to make suggestions that made the job better. In the end he wants the job to be done right. Finally, we were happy that he completed the job in a timely manner. That was one of the reasons we chose him and it turned out to be true. He was there every day early and made sure things didn't stall. Also, he would give estimates for when things were going to be done and always kept us informed about what was next. "

Raleigh Door Installers Provider Name Locked
is my go to guy! I have been remodeling several houses for a couple of years now and I seem to keep running into projects that are over my head,
Raleigh Door Installers Provider Name Locked
always comes thru and gets me back on my feet! If it involves wood or construction he can do it! On a personal level, he is an honest, even tempered, family man. I trust him to be alone in my home and to be fair and honest with me in his work and pricing! In addition, he has found other tradesmen for me that were equally excellent and that I felt comfortable having in my home."

"The work was done quickly and well. The repairs were not strictly included in the job but they were done at no extra charge. This was professional work. "
