"I was very pleased with all the family members who helped me at
Raleigh Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
- in choosing my granite, and my
Raleigh Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
profile, and the way they price. They charge one price and there are no "extras" to worry about - the price includes the granite - you pick out the exact piece if they have a remnant or slab you can use there - - the edging, the sink cut-outs and sink installation, the fabrication, the templating and the installation. Their website has many pictures of completed kitchen and bath countertops, so you get a good idea of their work. I am aware that you can have a piece of granite brought from another granite yard to them and they can fabricate this as well. There were two minor problems with installation of the long countertop, which my remodeler noticed as he is a perfectionist, and they came out the next day and corrected these to our satisfaction. I am very happy with the process and the results. Although the piece they used for the long countertop was a remnant, it and the top of the kneewall both came out gorgeous in appearance and finish."

was recommended to me by both my realtor and Angie's List reviews. The owner came out to do initial measurements and was very professional. I did get one other estimate and it was $400 more, so I decided to go with

. They were very professional throughout the job - my only issue was that they left a trash can behind, but when I called they sent someone out to pick it up. Otherwise, was very happy with the job."

Are granite countertops right for you?

Text and photos by Lindy Keyser

Indianapolis homeowners seem to be following a new trend to trade in their quartz and tile countertops for much more durable granite. Dan Marsh, co-owner of A-rated Classic Stone in Carmel, says 75 percent of his countertop installations involve granite, a stone that not only withstands extreme heat but also doubles as a kitchen cutting board because it's nearly impossible to scratch. "As far as durability is concerned, granite far surpasses solid and laminate countertops," he says.

"I had some trouble with communication in the beginning, mainly because I had communicated over the phone with the owner and later was transferred to a sales person. It seemed like some of my information got lost in the shuffle. After that though, everything went smoothly. They were able to beat the best estimate I had gotten for countertops from someone else, and were punctual for the measurements as well as the installation. Another company I talked to said we would have to wait a week between removal of the old countertops and installation of the new ones, but this company removed them and installed the new ones within the same day, which was much more convenient. We were able to go approve our stone personally before installation. They were very quick to install them after the initial measurements were taken (within a week). We had to have a plumber come install the faucet and reconnect everything but I think that is pretty standard with any company. My only other complaint was that a lot of wall debris was left in one of our lower cabinets after they left and we had to remove everything from that cabinet and clean it. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience, a good value, and it looks beautiful."

"They were excellent. They had good reviews online. They were responsive when I called them. I would recommend them. They were quick and reasonably priced. They did a really good job and it was really high quality work. I would definitely use their services in the future too."

"
Raleigh Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
did all the work except the shower glass himself. He had estimated the job would take 3 weeks and it did. He was always professional and personable. When he was working in our bathroom he was as unobtrusive as possible and did not disrupt our daily routines. He cleaned up each day and carted trash off daily. He always greeted our pets and was careful not to let them out. His contract was clear and detailed. We would recommend him without reservations for any job."

"Price was good. Initial service was good. Installer had attitude and sighed at any request. At the end of the day, we are happy with the product, but the installation and eventual follow-up service could have been much better."

"The service was great. We did learn that there's always a seam when you have a very long countertop, and sometimes you have to put the seam where you don't want it! But our decorator felt the countertops look great, which allieviated our initial disappointment. Would definitely use this company again. Good service and workmanship. They will take the time to work with you on planning, and they want you to be happy."

"We had used this company several years ago for a remodel of three bathroom vanity-lavatory tops and were quite satisfied with their work. However, on this project, there were several problems. First, the salesperson we dealt with when we first visited their showroom wasn't very knowledgeable about their products; fortunately, we were able to deal with a more knowledgeable salesperson on subsequent visits. Secondly, even though we wanted the contractor to be present during all installations, their representatives repeatedly called us instead of the contractor to schedule installation visits. The first installation visit was for the shower

, and our contractor had to have the installer sand off the

bottom to ensure that it would drain properly. If he had not been present, they would have put it in without this correction. The next visit was to install the shower cultured marble walls. The two workers from Majestic measured and cut the hole for the shower control inaccurately, so the walls were taken back and new ones made, delaying completion of the project by several weeks. On this visit, they had also brought with them corner shelves that were of a different color than the walls, and these had to be replaced as well. Then, when the walls were brought back, our contractor had to insist that several adjustments be made for proper fitting of the soapdish and that the caulking around the edges was properly done. The vanity top measurement was too long, and it also had to be remade, resulting in another delay. The backsplash for the vanity top -- under our contractor's direction -- had to be sanded so that it would fit properly against the backwall. The one installer for Majestic who seemed to really know what he was doing was the man who installed the glass shower wall and door.

" When we moved to
Raleigh Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
we bought the house we did with the idea of adding some significant improvements to fit our special likes. After checking out a few different contractors, large and small, we took the advice of a Realtors who praised the work of
Raleigh Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
. My wife and I cannot say enough good things about
Raleigh Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and the extraordinary quality of his work. This man takes great pride in his work and it shows in everything he does. In 45 years of marriage living in several different homes we have never encountered anyone in whom we have more confidence and for whom we have higher regard than
Raleigh Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
. Not only is he so good at his work, he is a nice person to work with. I had a couple of not so great ideas that he talked me out of and he does not hesitate to suggest solutions you might never think of on your own. The best indication of how pleased we are about having selected
Raleigh Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
is that after we had done all that we had expected to do but then months later decided on another project we did not bother to inquiry of anyother but
Raleigh Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
. Neighbors and friends who have seen the work he has done at our home are lavish in their praise. I should add that we have also turned to
Raleigh Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
for a couple of small projects and he performs them with the same skill and pride of workmanship. People who took our recommendation to choose
Raleigh Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
for projects they needed done thank us profusely for making them aware of him. The bottom line is that you cannot find better quality and better value for your home remodeling dollar.
