"They are definitely at the high end from a price perspective, but I think that the quality and professionalism supports this price. We now have the Cadillac of crawl spaces and no mold in our ducts. We would definitely use them again when we need to get our ducts cleaned. Excellent job!!"

"The duct work and initial installation of the new HVAC system started on a Thursday and we were told the installation was complete at 5:00 pm on Friday. Although this company claims to leave your house in the same condition they found it, the installation crew left mud and adhesive in the utility room. They also did not rehang a door they had removed. To make matters worse, by 7:30 pm Friday night, the HVAC outside unit was making a sound I can only liken to a helicopter landing!! We called the 24 hr service number and were told to turn the system off and they would return the next morning at 8:00 am. They finally arrived on Saturday at 10:30 am (yes, not happy about they 2 1/2 hr delay and the loss of the day's plan to this installation) and when the service gentleman looked at the system he discovered that the initial installers had wired the HVAC system incorrectly. He rewired the system and then we asked him to go over the system with us as the initial installers were in such a hurry to leave, they had only given us the new thermostat box, with the instructions, to read. It was then that we discovered that several of the upgrades we have on our signed contract had not been installed. We called

on Monday and were told that the upgrade items weren't on their copy of the contract and we would need to talk to the gentleman that sold us the HVAC system. We called him immediately and were told that those items were in fact on the contract (in the notes part of the contract - not on the "checklist") and we were in fact entailed to the upgrades. We scheduled a time for the remainder of the system to be installed, but the evening before they were due to come back (2 weeks after the initial installation), we got a call that the ordered upgrade parts were had not been delivered from the supplier. The upgrade installation was rescheduled for the next week. They returned to install the upgrades and discovered that one of the parts was missing. They installed what they could and told us they would be back to install the remaining part when it was received. Approximately 10 days later, the part was in and they returned to install the last part. Finally, by Thanksgiving we had our complete HVAC system installed (yes, 5 weeks after the initial installation). Very disappointed in

taking 5 weeks to complete an HVAC installation!! We can say that new Installation Manager (the one that worked for

at the beginning of our installation was no longer with the company by the end of our installation) accompanied the installers at the upgrade installation to make sure everything was done properly. The Installation Manager and the office person (

) were great during this whole prolonged installation and they would be the reason we would use

again. In addition,

reduced the price of the HVAC package by $500 since the installation wasn't complete in the time period promised. We can also report that the installers were great (after the initial installation) of leaving our utility room/area in as good as, if not in better condition, then it was prior to their arrival. We believe our experience was an anomaly. We also believe that

"Fast, clean, punctual and effective....simply put, it was the best possible experience (even cost less than I thought it would)"

"I called the company based on a coupon flyer I received in the mail; their services seemed to be the least costly (what a mistake!!). The technician (

) came on time with a worker, who then immediately started working (and alone) on the air duct cleaning. The technician appeared to be very knowledgeable and he persuaded me to add many other services on the basis that the originaly air duct cleaning that I had requested would be sorely incomplete without them. When I questioned why it costs so much to clean the

and blower, for example, he explained that it is delicate work that requires much expertise and that it is too easy to make a mistake. I relunctantly agreed, since he seemed to be trustworthy (another mistake). I would later discover that the work was sloppily done. Some services were well done, such as the dryer vent cleaning which I could see for myself what was cleaned. However, even such

cleaning was grossly overpriced at $75 for perhaps five minutes of work. The technician also convinced me to purchase a pair of electrostatic filters (one they installed and the other one they shipped out a week later from their Atlanta headquarters), and he persuaded me that I need to quickly install two UV Light systems (ultaviolet germicidal air purifiers) and to also purchase two replacement UV light bulbs, which they have yet to ship to me six months later (although they received my money). Upon completion of the work, the technician took my credit card information and asked me to sign for it. I then signed the receipt, which the company interpreted as my having inspected all the work performed and of my being completely satisfied with their work. Of course, there was no way that I could have completely inspected all the work or known at that time that it would be unsatisfactory. Later that day, I called the technician on his cell phone to explain that the A/C has stopped working following their air duct cleaning and that their technician damaged my ceilings. He insisted that nothing that his worker had done could have caused any of these problems, and he then advised a few troubleshooting steps. I tried them, gave the system time to reset, and then I called the technician the following day to explain that nothing worked, that I need him to come back and fix it since the summer heat is intolerable at home without a working A/C system. He explained that he cannot return since he is now out of town in Atlanta and he told me to instead get an HVAC company to check on it, believing the problem to be in my equipment or the freon level. I followed his instructions and had "Cool Air Mechanical" (licensed HVAC contractor) inspect my system, and they found the problem to be disconnected wires (by

) in the furnace. Their visit to find and fix this problem caused by

's sloppy work cost me $170. I then left many messages (by voicemail and text messages) to the technician's cell phone, asking him to call me back since the HVAC contractor found the problem and that it was caused by the work related to the air duct cleaning. Unfortunately, the technician refused to return any of my calls, apparently because he does not want to take responsibility for the sloppy work or for the $170 repair bill I incurred because of their sloppiness. I have since left him numerous messages with his management at their main office in Atlanta, and he continues to ignore my calls, despite his and the company's pretense of caring about customer satisfaction. I then took the matter up with my credit card company, who sympathized and agreed with me but told me that it is completely up to the merchant to issue any refunds, which has refused to do so regardless of the documentation I provided. The credit card company advised me to persue the matter with the BBB, which I shall do so next if I don't get a satisfactory resolution through Angie's list before the end of this year. All in all, the technician was very punctual and smooth, but the work performed was of poor quality, and the company has been unresponsive to my repeated pleas to rectify this matter. I am owed a minimum refund of $310 ($170 for the two UV light bulbs that were never shipped to me plus $140 for the HVAC repair bill). I am also owed proof, as advertised in their coupons, that they will show me videotaped proof of the complete decontamination, as I am now doubtful that the other paid cleaning services have been thoroughly done. I got a handyman friend to correct the damages their worker caused on my ceiling, and I will thus not ask for reparation against those cosmetic damages. I am hopeful that the company, which prides itself as being a member of the BBB, will honor their word and fulfill their promises of "satisfaction guaranteed" (as stated on their coupons), at least in the face of public embarrassment from you and the BBB. The telephone number they advertise on their local coupons is the same one that you have for them, which is 919-648-2162. Unfortunately, that number appears to be disconnected. Instead, you might be able to reach them at their alternate local number of 919-648-2280; if not, then please try them at 770-986-6743, which is at their main office in Georgia."
