"I had a number of small projects that all had rapidly jumped to the top of my to-do list. The hot water heater was in imminent of failing, the window was starting to leak, etc. I wanted to find a company that could cover all these things so I wouldn't have to meet with several different contractors. Being your own general contractor may pay off on big projects, but it's not worth it for little stuff because of the time investment. had a great Angie's list reputation so I gave them a call. called me back later the same day and we scheduled the estimate for two days later - he was extremely flexible. He came out and evaluated what I needed and said he would be emailing me the estimate in a few days. The following Monday (we had met on Thursday) I had my estimate which was completely reasonable. I also liked the estimate because it broke down each task by price so I knew what each segment of the project was going to cost out of the whole. I agreed to the estimate and he immediately got me a contract by email. Once they received the deposit they scheduled my work. From when I called for the estimate until the work was completed, a total of 2 weeks had passed, which I consider quite good turn around. and his fellow workers were professional and friendly and I felt very comfortable with them in my home. The work was completed as described and I am very pleased. I plan on using them again - I have a 110 year old house and if it's not one thing, it's another around here!"

" did excellent, highly professional work. Although this was a very small job ($250), treated us like valued customers, and he didn't try to sell us any "extras." His manner was matter-of-fact and understated: He quickly grasped what we needed, he didn't over-promise, he performed the work carefully, and he stuck to his original estimate. The final result looks great, and we got exactly what we had envisioned.
I'm sure that there are other cabinet makers out there who are showier salespeople; but we hate the song-and-dance. didn't do any of that; he just did the job with no and no fuss. We were very pleased."

"I recently purchased my first home, a three unit apartment in . The house was built in 1910 and needed a lot work. I interviewed five contractors and felt immediately comfortable with Rich and his crew. He offered me the most reasonable deal for what turned out to be high quality service.
The house itself was a challenge. Settling and uneven floors, doors and ceilings made each project unique and detail intensive. Rich and his crew put a great looking kitchen together seamlessly. The countertops were painstakingly leveled and custom made and installed in my pantry. The overall quality was excellent. Rich and his team also installed laminate flooring in my living room and, again, focused on the details. Seamless and well matched mouldings ring the room and speak to the crew's professionalism.
Just as important as quality work is a quality relationship. Recently, a water leak rained down from an old pipe on the second floor. Rich gave me the advice I needed to fix the problem (for $20!, thank god) instead of Rotor Rooters $1,000 estimate. As a new homeowner I was afraid of getting fleeced by one of hundreds of contractors. Rich offered options, advice, and helped my find a plan that was right for my home and my budget. Not only is Rich easy to work with, his crew is respectful and professional, specifically Bill, the cabinet and counter maestro.
Before finalizing a deal with someone, speak with Rich and see what he and have to offer."

"They scraped the entire 4000 square foot house (two stories) primed and painted it with great attention to detail. Removed all the deteriorating coating on foundation (50'x26') and recoated with proper material. Awesome Job. Great price. **UPDATE** One year later it still looks good. I found a relatively small, out of the way area that had been primed but not painted. I called Joy (Yovanni) and he and his crew came and painted it free without any questions within a few weeks. Great service, honest guy."

"They showed up when they said they would; they reviewed the project and quoted a price for everything on the spot. When it was time to do the work, they showed up when they said they would; they did everything that had been discussed and agreed to; they cleaned up after the job was done. Considering some of the contractors we've met, this was a very refreshing experience."

"Each aspect of the job was done quickly, professionally, and courteously. Each employee (team of 4 guys) was not just polite, but interesting and fun to talk with. They did a great job with cleanup as well."

"Brilliantly. Trust me, you want to hire this guy. He is genuine, friendly, punctual, honest, and highly skilled. He's the kind of dream contractor you wish for.
Our house looks amazing. (In fact, we got his name from our neighbor whose house he had resided some years ago.) His pricing was on target, no-nonsense, and he never tried to sell us anything. A very cool customer with a friendly, professional crew. Absolutely no complaints; I will be hiring them again."

"In general, we were happy with 's work. He arrived when he said he would, was responsible and we were very comfortable having him in our house. All of the walls that he repaired looked great and the moulding over the wainscoting really worked out well. He charges by the hour ($35, which seemed quite reasonable) but he can become really chatty at times. He also seemed not to be as detail oriented as I had expected. When he started we asked him to complete the wainscoting (there was a small, unfinished segment behind the bathroom door) and plug the screw holes in the moulding so they wouldn't be visible but we had to remind him about the wainscoting and he never ended up plugging the holes. He also didn't put the top piece of finish wood over the molding behind our bathroom door. We noticed these things after he had left for good so we didn't pursue them. He also covered an outlet with Sheetrock and would have left it if I didn't ask him to cut it out."

" is a master craftsman and we were very happy with both his professionalism and his work. He knew just what to do in order to expand my smaller closet space. He was always punctual, very neat with clean up and someone to definitely use for any special project we have in mind."

"Generally we do all of our own remodeling, but in this case there were too many complexities involved with a kitchen remodel...and we didn't want to be without a kitchen for 4 months! Overall it went very well and we're thrilled with the work. We picked because we liked his design sense and he seemed to be a good communicator right from the start. His estimate was the highest of all those we got (5 in all), but we figured you get what you pay for. Mostly, we didn't want to get sucked in by a low-ball estimate so playing it this way seemed smart. did a fine job, considering our house is 100 years old! His subcontractors were all professionals, and in particular his assistant, Dmitri Tsimikas, paid very careful attention to the details, his workmanship was excellent, and he gave us loads of good advice. We were totally new to contractor estimates, so the only thing we would do differently next time is ask a whole lot more questions up front! Highly recommended."
