Siding reviews in Providence

I experienced an attempted break-in. I called this gentleman and he came over the next morning to assess the damage to 2 double-paned windows. He was able to find the original manufacturer of these 20+ year-old windows, but they had gone out of business. He contacted a custom glass business and arranged to have the glass fixed. He took the metal frames down to their facility and brought them back in less than 3 hours looking as good as new. For the 3 trips to my house, assessing the damage, materials, and the actual new glass and screen, he only charged $260. This would have cost much more if I had called anyone else.
I would recommend highly him. I plan to have him do some work on my deck next.

Work began in early summer. It started with the siding and progressed steadily. The workers were exceedingly prompt, neat, safety conscious and very courteous. Then the work on the cornice began with the same work ethic. The porch followed and again the workers showed pride in their work, kept us informed of any concerns and/or delays and were very accommodating to our traffic patterns. The porch looks absolutely beautiful with mahogany decking and banister trim. The interior work coincided with the porch work and involved rolling carpets. Each evening the carpets would be unrolled after a thorough vacuuming was done. Constant attention was made to disrupt normal household routines as little as possible.
The general contractor,

, oversaw the job regularly, was available easily by phone, offered general and specific advice and made us feel the pride he took in this work. His suggestions were always helpful and right on target. It was a pleasure working with him.

Providence Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
is fantastic. He was on time, on schedule, and on budget. He checked in regularly, went above and beyond what was expected, and delivered a great finished project. His crew was polite, non invasive, and kept a very clean worksite. He worked on our house for 8 weeks total, with probably 5-10 days lost to rain. They would normally be at our house from 8am until 6pm or so, and then on Saturdays from 9-5, although there were definitely days where they were working until closer to 8pm to try and get something finished up. Most of the time it was just

and 1 or 2 other guys, but a few times he had a larger crew on site (like during the actual painting). Progress came along steadily, and he was always in touch with updates. He is very friendly and chatty, and very easy to get along with. I really can't say enough good things about him and his work. We were actually sad to see him go. I would happily recommend him to friends or family.

It went well as shown by the fact that there were no leaks after the last rain storm--at least that's how mi measure a roof. Oh yes, and it looks great too. Kidding aside, all three were a pleasure to deal with. Polite, clean, and very FAST. I'd reccomend them--in fact, based on the roof I hired them to install my siding, as well. Since they're just starting out with their company I decided to take the time to give them a detailed review...

The experience was good...although, we changed our minds several times, they were very patient with us. We were most pleased that
Providence Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
finished early; even after we made changes.

They scraped the entire 4000 square foot house (two stories) primed and painted it with great attention to detail. Removed all the deteriorating coating on foundation (50'x26') and recoated with proper material. Awesome Job. Great price. **UPDATE** One year later it still looks good. I found a relatively small, out of the way area that had been primed but not painted. I called Joy (Yovanni) and he and his crew came and painted it free without any questions within a few weeks. Great service, honest guy.

Work took 5 months. It started in November and ended in April (mostly due to rainy/cold weather). Poor workmanship was not checked. Problems included unpainted molding installation, roof leak, poorly flashed chimney, poorly flashed misc areas, roof vent and soffit were wavy/not straight, hundreds of nails around house foundation, difficult communication, general sloppy appearance. To Cliff's credit, I provided photos to Cliff and the foreman on the job was fired. Cliff brought another crew in and repaired much of the problematic work for free. Despite his agreement to perform the work--the last of the work has never been completed (tenants stained ceiling, tenants unpainted trim.)

After calling a few roofers for estimates, we decided to go with
Providence Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
. One roofer never showed up for the estimate, another seemed like a strong candidate, but
Providence Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
seemed to have a good understanding of our home and our needs. Despite there being more layers of old shingles than originally anticipated, extreme heat and humidity (as well as some storms), and a roofer who injured himself one weekend (during his free time, not while working!),
Providence Siding Contractors Provider Name Locked
did a good job and in a reasonable time frame. The house looks great and the cost was fair. I would certainly hire them again.

Brilliantly. Trust me, you want to hire this guy. He is genuine, friendly, punctual, honest, and highly skilled. He's the kind of dream contractor you wish for. Our house looks amazing. (In fact, we got his name from our neighbor whose house he had resided some years ago.) His pricing was on target, no-nonsense, and he never tried to sell us anything. A very cool customer with a friendly, professional crew. Absolutely no complaints; I will be hiring them again.
- Emlyn A.

It went well. We paid him by the hour because it was such a complicated project. I am not in the state, but I feel I have someone that I can trust to get the work done.
