"I like everything about them! I started going here because I had a bad fall down stairs. I had a bruised tailbone and concussion and it did a number on my back." I had really bad lower back and neck pain that was debilitating. I was referred here from my doctor and almost immediately my quality of life improved from the services they offer.
quickly assessed the issue and gave me test to tell me exactly what was wrong and put together a treatment plan. The neck pain is no longer an issue and my back pain was getting better. They have a laser treatment that forces the muscles to relax. It’s super soothing and I think that was the main thing that helped get rid of my neck problems completely. They have state of the art equipment and everyone I’ve interacted with is super professional and amazing at their job. I’ve had a great experience here from everyone! They are all amazing!

"I have used
and
since 1990 when I was injured by a missed epidural during a C-Section. I could not believe how caring" and brilliant they are! My family and friends have been using them ever since. One of the unique things about the
's is that they not only get you out of pain, but they teach you exercises or things you can do so that the problem will not return. Some of my friends have gone to the physical therapist with their doctors office. When they don't get better, they finally go to
and rave about them! They treat a lot of firefighters, police, athletes, and stunt people. The ones who need to get better and fully functional for their jobs or sports. I cannot recommend them more highly! You will not regret going to them

5 questions to ask before starting physical therapy

Are you in need of physical therapy? Make sure to ask a prospective physical therapist these five questions before making a hiring decision.

Physical therapy

A physical therapist evaluates, diagnoses and treats parts of the body that aren’t functioning properly, are healing or need rehabilitation, whether they’re athletes, the elderly or the rest of us.

Rehabilitation - Physical Therapy

On this episode of Chat with the Experts, Brian Pease of Body One Physical Therapy explains how physical therapy can help with chronic pain and much more.

Improved flexibility can make it easier to hold proper positions and reduce the risk of injury, says Lewis. (Photo by Karen Geswein)
Rehabilitation - Physical Therapy

To avoid repetitive motion injury and a need for physical therapy, frequent position changes and simple stretches are important at the computer or on the road.

Degenerative disc disease can lead to a chronic debilitating condition and can have a serious negative impact on a person's quality of life, says Strader. (Photo courtesy of Advanced Physical Therapy Center)
Rehabilitation - Physical Therapy

Degenerative disc disease is a normal part of aging for the spine that can be extremely painful. Physical therapy can help strengthen your back and reduce pain.

Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve, which runs from the forearm into the hand, becomes pressed or squeezed at the wrist, says Strader. (Photo courtesy of Advanced Hand Rehab)
Rehabilitation - Physical Therapy

The pain in your wrists and forearms that comes with carpal tunnel syndrome is fortunately something that can be avoided with a few simple habits.

I went twice a week for care. I’ve had two rounds of physical therapy and she was very thorough the first round, so I asked for her the second round. She was very thorough updating it. She designed exercises specifically to address my complaints. She modified when it was something I couldn’t do so I could work my way to the goal. She is very good at what she does! She was compassionate and very patient with me. Because I had a head injury, I would forget things and she was patient with the aspect of that. Because of the neck spurs and the problem with a pinched nerve in my neck, she would pull my head through traction and it would make a huge difference! I was her first patient after lunch, and sometimes I would have to wait a little bit but she was always good about working with my schedule. She recommended me to my ortho doctor who has made tremendous difference in my quality of life.

Dr.
Providence Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
Q Virtanen suggested that I try hypnosis therapy with her for the anxiety. At that point, I felt that I had nothing to
Providence Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
, so we started our sessions which turned out to be the best thing I ever did in prep for my surgery. The day of my surgery my blood pressure and anxiety levels were under control and have been ever since. I do the exercises she gave me for pain and anxiety faithfully daily and results are quite positive. I would highly recommend hypnosis therapy to everyone who is a qualified candidate. I certainly would recommend the

group for any orthopedic problems. Many Thanks.

When therapy began, I couldn't touch my back with my right hand above my belt line. Any attempts to throw a ball were a failure as my shoulder and arm were like a wet noodle. Appointments were very easy to make, my insurance was accepted with my copay and treatment always began promptly as scheduled. I was treated very well and professionally by the friendly staff at Imagine. On the first visit they did a full history of me and the recent injury and did starting point measurements on range of motion, pain and flexibility and began treatment slowly. My primary PT (though I had about 7 of my three months of visits with other PT's there) was
Providence Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
who was very friendly and good to talk to during what can be boring stretches, massage and stimulation. Every month or so, new measurements were done to assure that I was progressing as hoped for and on occasion,
Providence Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
who operates Imagine, would either check on the treatment being done and advise the PT on how to proceed with treatment or treat me himself on about three occasions. The assistants, particularly Miss
Providence Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
, were very supportive and friendly as they monitored my exercises on the premises. I was sold (for about $2 each) exercise bands and given instruction sheets on exercises to do at home on a daily basis between PT sessions. After I had regained most of my flexibility in my shoulder, Imagine did not attempt to keep me there in treatments any longer than I needed to be there. Instead, I was told what to do on my own at home and at the gym to continue recovery and was told that if there were any set backs, problems, etc. to contact them immediately. It is now one year after the injury occurred, I have continued to do the exercises and stretches I was taught to avoid any recurrence and am thrilled to be playing softball with full strength in my shoulder again.

Everything went well, and I was very pleased with their services. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they were readily available when needed. The facilities were neat and clean, and the care was very good in general. It should be noted, however, that they follow a strict Jewish doctrine that separates meat and dairy products.
