Providence Internists Reviews

"Dr.
Providence Internists Provider Name Locked
is a fine doctor and I have few problems with her. In fact, I have few problems with any of the medical staff.
The office staff leaves something to be desired. There have been multiple problems with billing; some of which were never resolved. They expect me to pay bills which they failed to properly submit to the insurance company. I have been going to that office for 12 years and these problems have occured over those years; to be fair, many of the problems were years ago. "

"I arrived on time. The sign in/billing desk was in another room, so I had to ask a patient if I needed to sign in.
The wait was over 30 minutes, although it was an early morning appointment, and there were only a few people in the waiting room.
Dr
Providence Internists Provider Name Locked
is amazingly full of himself. His treatment room is decorated solely with photos and newspaper clippings about himself, of course, even to letters to the editor of the local paper.

If he had a warm "bedside manner" you'd never know it.The whole visit, from start to finish, was less than 5 minutes and was all business. The nurse

blood, and checked my blood pressure; I had to ask her twice what my blood pressure was.
Without taking my temperature or putting his hands on me in any wat when I coughed on command, Dr Grossed diagnosed me with bronchitis and gave me 2 prescriptions. Then a lecture on why changing thyroid dosages isn't good: I explained I had moved before my Maryland doctor and I could reach the right balance of my levels, but he had already moved on mentally to something or someone else, so my visit with him was at an end. I kept wondering if this guy was an imposter...where was the doctor everybody had raved about.....one thing was certain: he was AWOL when he "saw" me.

I joined the line of over 6 patients waiting to pay their bill; I'd have preferred to have the secretary come into the waiting room when they were ready for me...I felt horrible...but no such luck.
The.secretaries weren't rude, but they certainly weren't friendly.

The next day someone called me to say my thyroid level was fine. I'd been having trouble earlier with high thyroid levels and had cut the

in half, Getting a number didn't help me determine whether my meds should be tweaked or not, something I would have like to talk to Dr

about. Maybe not.

I am still looking for a good doctor!

"He is outstanding. His office staff is very good. They are responsive. Sometimes when you are dealing with doctors, the responsiveness and competency of the administrative staff is as important as the quality of the doctor. They are excellent on both counts."

"Dr.
Providence Internists Provider Name Locked
is very easy to talk to, very candid and considerate. He explained the various options for treating my condition and offered his recommendations without force or pressure. I am new to the area and appreciated finding a doctor who is patient and straightforward."
A
"My experience there went very well. I think that all the physicians that I have seen have been very attentive and always listened carefully. They have been thoughtful in their treatment and diagnoses of issues. I would tell other members that they are very friendly and thoughtful doctors. Particularly I would tell others that they take a lot of time to listen to what I have to say. "

"Dr
Providence Internists Provider Name Locked
is congenial and trys to lighten up my concerns. I feel a good relationship with him, which I suppose is expected with a primary care physician. My blood pressure is always checked, along with a review of medications. Especially this time, since a heart catheterization was performed in June (obviously by a cardiologist at a hospital) He does check other details, about the job and life in general. Ocasionally, there is a medical student along with him for the visit. Generally, I feel good when I leave the office visit."
A
"I've been with her for years, and I've had very good service with her. I've had no problem reaching her, getting a call back or getting into the office to see someone if I need to. She is easy to talk to and she really knows her stuff. Her hours are limited, but she's easy to get a hold of. "
A
"He is very professional and knowledgeable. I've been seeing him for twenty five years. His office staff is polite and knowledgeable. His office is nice, clean and pleasant to be in. I would highly recommend him."
A
"I have been going to him for about 10 years. I like that he is very forthcoming. He is easy to deal with. Everyone in the office is good about running on time. When they didn't get me in right away they did apologize."
A
"He is very caring and competent. The staff is always friendly. I have been going to Dr.
Providence Internists Provider Name Locked
for three years and I feel comfortable going there and I trust him. He is always willing to take the time to answer questions. His office accepts my insurance and all I have to pay is the $10 co-pay."
