Interventional Cardiology reviews in Providence
So right now my dad is wearing a 28 day telemetry monitor (portable, wireless, very easy to use) which records his heart rate continuously and stores all of the information. If he appears to have any abnormal activity on the monitor it beeps and asks him if he has any symptoms to record. He is also able to record anything abnormal at any point with he thinks may be related to the atrial fibrillation.
My parents are older and have A LOT of physicians. I have never been as impressed with any of them like I have Dr. . He treated us like family. He recognized that my mom and dad didn't "speak" medical and was patient and detailed with them. My dad is able to explain his arrhythmia very easily now. While we don't know yet if he will have to have the surgery, I am so very grateful that we had the opportunity to meet Dr. and potentially prevent my dad from having an unnecessary procedure that may be able to be managed with a less invasive way. He's 75 with other health problems (although he's very active) and surgery always has high risks but especially for his population. This was one of the best decisions we have ever made regarding a physician for either of my parents care. As an RN and as a family member of a patient I would recommend Dr. to ANYONE who requires this kind of care. You always want to make sure your physician is board certified in the specialty that you need to see and not all physician who practice specialties are NOT board certified in them. Whether you see Dr. or not, please take the time to review physicians' board certifications and fellowships.
But I think if you explore more about Dr. because of my recommendation you should absolutely choose him as your physician. I don't know if the practice reads these reviews, but if so, THANK YOU so very much. We appreciate your knowledge and care.
I was told that with my procedure now on the record VCU would be added to the short list of hospitals that could make this technique a standard offering.”
