, the young owner, was our third estimate. He was by far the most punctual, professional, and surprisingly the cheapest of the three. He said he would blend in the urine stains with a slightly darker stain (once the floors had been sanded), and could also easily get out the white paint covering our stairs. He also didn't blink when we asked him to match the patches of flooring that needed to be replaced. He and his two friends/workers estimated it would take a week (5 days) to do the entire job. The were on time and professional each time we checked in. He also let me see 3 samples of stain on the actual bare wood first before applying it to the entire room. He uses

and low VOC poly. They did an amazing job!!! And they finished a day early too! Everyone is so impressed when we show the before and after pictures. He even came back to fix any small patches we noticed once we had already paid him! He is young but has been re-finishing floors for nearly 20 years as he started working with his dad as a young boy. I would DEFINATELY use

"Work took 5 months. It started in November and ended in April (mostly due to rainy/cold weather). Poor workmanship was not checked. Problems included unpainted molding installation, roof leak, poorly flashed chimney, poorly flashed misc areas, roof vent and soffit were wavy/not straight, hundreds of nails around house foundation, difficult communication, general sloppy appearance. To Cliff's credit, I provided photos to Cliff and the foreman on the job was fired. Cliff brought another crew in and repaired much of the problematic work for free. Despite his agreement to perform the work--the last of the work has never been completed (tenants stained ceiling, tenants unpainted trim.) "

"It was very good. I went to the store and they had a lot of good choices as compared to other places I went to. They send you something in the mail with tips on how to take care of the floor."

was always easily accessible and always went above and beyond the call of duty. In addition, he told me at the beginning of the project that it would be complete in 4 weeks, and he completed it in 3 and 1/2 weeks. I will definitely work with

"The men that came out to our home were very clean, professional, and courteous. The new addition looks beautiful. They had many great ideas to help us plan and add this addition, and the sub contractors he had working under him were excellent and quality oriented."

"I could not stress this any more: do not hire this man! A very nice guy but a complete inability to organize and manage a job. This was supposed to be done in three months. It started in February of 2006 and was supposed to be done in June of 2006. I fired him on April 30th of 2007 (14 months later). After receiving a stop work order from the

"This company offers a great deal. I think he does high quality installation. He was knowledgeable and hardworking. He will insure the integrity by making you stay a night away from home."

"This man does excellent to outstanding work and is still improving. I have recommended him to several friends. You couldn't hire a more talented and accomplished carpenter."

"I was not happy to use this company. The job the crew did on the sub-floor was atrocious. They drug out the installation by working only three hour days. I could not use my kitchen for three weeks, which included easter weekend."
