"Work took 5 months. It started in November and ended in April (mostly due to rainy/cold weather). Poor workmanship was not checked. Problems included unpainted molding installation, roof leak, poorly flashed chimney, poorly flashed misc areas, roof vent and soffit were wavy/not straight, hundreds of nails around house foundation, difficult communication, general sloppy appearance.
To Cliff's credit, I provided photos to Cliff and the foreman on the job was fired. Cliff brought another crew in and repaired much of the problematic work for free. Despite his agreement to perform the work--the last of the work has never been completed (tenants stained ceiling, tenants unpainted trim.)

"This man is incredible. Honest, friendly, knowledgeable and proactive with a whole lot of years of experience. My chimney has leaked ever since I bought the house and I have been mislead by multiple providers who continued to repair, or said they repaired, an unsafe chimney. I considered tearing down 
and installing a power vent but was convinced to give it one more try. I can now say, with confidence, that my chimney is solid and WILL NOT LEAK!"

"I read the many positive reviews on this company here on Angie's List, so I decided to give them a try. Mr. called me the same day when I called to schedule an estimate. The next day, he performed a drive-by and called the same day to give me the estimate. After accepting the estimate, Mr. crew showed up to work the following business day. He requested that I'd pay him only AFTER all the work had been done. The work took about two full days. They work crews were very clean and did not leave a mess. Whatever dust that was kicked up by the replacement of the bricks was washed down by the crew at the end of the work. Before requesting the check, Mr. himself inspected all the work to make sure that everything went the way it should have. I have to say that I'm very pleased with this company and definitively will recommend it to anyone needing chimney work."

"I received 8 quotes for this job ranging from $6500 to $1900, with several in the $2000 range. I went with because he was the most knowledgeable, personable and happened to be the least expensive. He works by himself and has been doing masonry for over 20 years. He specializes in chimneys. He did the work on time, on budget and it looks terrific. He is insured and registered with the state board, very important for someone working on your roof. I believe he covers most of Island."

"Great! When Mr. first came out, he left a test piece in our chimney to make sure the clay liner crack was why we were getting water in the house. He didn't want to do the job and charge us before he had confirmed this because of the location of the leak, there were a few other things it could have been. After leaving the test piece in through a rain storm, and determining the liner was in fact the problem, he came out promptly and completed the job. Honest and conscientious!"

"The work that was done on my chimney was terrible. The chimney started leaking after they left, so they came back to fix it. They made the problem worse though. We had to hire someone else to do the job right. I would tell people not to use them."

"They stand behind their work and they do a good job the first time. It is not one of those things where you have to call them up and tell them it's not looking quite right, because they get it right the first time. They are one of the best."
