It was a great experience they did everything they said they would do and then some. They let me know the time they would be here, always on time. People asked if I got new cabinets the results was great. I found them on the Internet. I highly recommend them. Answered all of my questions. Great job by all. So glad I got them to do my work.

21May: first contact w/ C&M re:
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
kitchen work
31May: met with C&M at residence we were purchasing for consult (Owner)
6June: confirmed wanted C&M to do the work. C&M decided 16June would be start date
9June: confirmed
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
19 as start date
16June: (date we closed on house) list of hardware sent to C&M
28June: C&M said selection serial #s did not match #s for company they worked with. Advised us to order them online
30June: Advised C&M that the hardware company would not let us order them online b/c we were not a contractor and re-sent the serial #s (Brushed oil bronze and the
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
#)
2July: requested C&M send samples of hardware we requested
8July: C&M advised
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
(hardware company) had requested C&M order online b/c they didn’t maintain inventory. This is a company C&M advised they use regularly. C&M asked us again to order online. However, we advise again that we could not because we weren’t a contractor. C&M stated we should just say we work for C&M to order the hardware. We sent him the
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
# with the addition of “
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
” at the end of it for “Brushed Oil Bronze” so his partner company knew the part #.
9-10July: Initial work done: Painted cabinets, installed doors, glass panels and temp install of drawer faces. Paid in full.
10July: almost immediately after owner's son left one of the door fronts fell off. Texted Owner this with no response
11July: asked again for hardware to be sent
13July: asked for hardware again and that the glass fell out of two doors and the others were similarly loose
13July: C&M advised hardware had been ordered
14July: C&M advised serial #s for hardware were incorrect. It appears "Brushed Oil Bronze and the serial# off the company's website was not enough for C&M to change it to serial# plus "
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
" to correctly order the part until we advised them that was the case (and this is a company they work regularly with?). C&M said it worked this time and it would be 5-7 days and they would overnight them. We requested they be sent to my wife’s location in LA where she would be for two weeks
16July: since there were repeated delays, we requested C&M to advise when the hardware arrived so they could be sent to my wife in LA for work for two weeks so she could make a decision. Owner acknowledged, “no problem”.
21July: C&M advised hardware was received over the weekend and they were sent to us and should get them the next day. Unfortunately they did not send them to LA but to the house we purchased and not living in yet. He was advised several times we
needed to do this b/c we were coordinating with the interior painters, floor refinishers, electricians and basement consultants and needed to make this process efficient for scheduling purposes. Again, causing a delay.
24July: Hardware received. Note sent to C&M that one door was a different color than the rest, some drawer covers were falling off and more glass was falling.
25July: followed up with C&M and asked when these issues could be remedied, Owner responded with “I will call you when I can”.
31July: Advised C&M again that were moving into the house the following Friday (8Aug) and that we needed to order the chosen
hardware and schedule the install.
1Aug: Owner responded with “Absolutely, I will call and we will set a date for next week). We also asked he confirm we would be able to fill the old hardware holes in the drawers for the new hardware and he confirmed they would be able to.
3Aug: asked for their email address so we could pass full details of the hardware. Went unanswered and had not received a phone call to set a date for install at this point.
6Aug: told them we ordered the knobs elsewhere b/c they weren’t responding and requested to set a date and finish the work, repair the issues
8Aug: asked why we hadn’t heard from them as we were moving into our new home this date and into a non-working kitchen. Asked if they received our email and when they were planning on coming to do the work.
9Aug: Asked the same thing b/c we never got a response. C&M said “I will call you Monday so we can set a date and time”. (Day after we moved in and NOTHING had been fixed at this point).
10Aug: C&M advised that they would come on the 11th.
11Aug: work was done by owner's son and co-worker in a hasty manner. They were advised that the floors were recently refinished and to be careful with the paint thinner and painting. They also stated they could do nothing about the door color differences. Almost immediately after they left, C&M was contacted that they spilled lacquer thinner on the floor along with paint splatter on the floor, Viking

and wine refrigerator. They were asked to re-contact us so we could figure out a way to remedy this situation.
13Aug: Called C&M restoration and advised that we were not pleased with the lack of correspondence especially after telling them that they spilled lacquer thinner and got paint splatter on the floor, Viking
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and wine refrigerator. Acknowledging that they are probably quite busy and this wasn’t a huge job for them, we told them we were equally busy, paid for their service which was highly rated and not at all pleased with their service, correspondence and required a call back. To this date, we have heard nothing back from C&M.
It appears that the owner is bringing his son into the fold of his business. We cannot differentiate between the father's and son's capabilities in terms of cabinet refinishing but the son does not appear to have the capability that I suspect previous reviews evaluated based on his father's skill. It also appears, b/c our job was on the smaller side, that the son was in charge of it and has not grasped punctuality, professionalism and the concept of the nature of the survivability of his company being based on a valued service. We could have done this ourselves if we had the time and for people who aren't really interested in being tattletails, we are very displeased with this company and the service they provided, particularly the lack of correspondence. We ran all the contractors through our house and for the limited amount of actual work they were required to do, it was the most painful of all of them to deal with and left us completely dissatisfied.

Old World Quality in a modern era. Attention to detail, color matching, masking and more. These guys are artists in the truest form.
They are uncompromisingly professional, detailed oriented and expert craftsmen. I tasked them with wood kitchen cabinets that were well beyond their, “Sell By Date.” Instead of calling it quits and trying to sell me new cabinets, they said they could make it look like new. Voila! The cabinets look better than when they were new. Then, to the bathroom cabinets: Instead of simply, “touching up,” they masked, sprayed and created a cherry wood work of art. Their prices are reasonable and actually cheap for the time and craftsmanship they perform. I do not believe you could better at any price!

/We selected
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
based on his rating in Angie's List and we were not disappointed. He came for his initial visit about two months before the work was done. (The delay was based both on his schedule and ours.) He came prepared with details of what could be done as well as samples. We were very pleased with the variety of colors and doors available. And we liked his no pressure personality.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
arrived at the promised time on Monday and was ready to go in a very short time. We had pre-emptied all the cabinets and, as he had suggested, it was a great opportunity to get rid of a lot of stuff that had accumulated over the years, especially in the drawers. The first step was to remove the cabinet doors which were discarded.
The rest of the project consisted on gluing on laminate over all the exposed cabinet surfaces and mounting new laminate covered doors. (The doors have new soft closing hinges.)
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
removed the drawers and took them back to his shop where new laminated drawer fronts were put on. I helped
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
a little from time to time bringing him laminate pieces, etc. I enjoyed this as
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
has a great personality and entertained me while he was working.
The whole process took three and a half days.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. We were left with the job of putting everything back into the cabinets and drawers but it was great to be doing this into beautiful new cabinets.

I had moved to California in 2012 and then moved back in 2013. In that movement, I had a vintage cherry bed that lost the bed rails on the way out. I always thought that I would have to get them replaced as it was my grandfather's bed and matched the bedroom suit I own. I kept the headboard and the foot board. In 2014, I found out about
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and asked
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
, the owner, if he could create bed rails that matched the original piece of furniture. He asked me for pictures and worked with me to determine what material he would make it out of. He came over and gave me an estimate and then I immediately agreed and he took the headboard and foot board.
He created custom rails for the side of the bed that look great with great use of some vintage hardware with a stain that matches extremely closely. He did charge a little extra for delivery to Philadelphia but it was totally worth it and I have a bed as good as new (I upgraded to a King, but this bed is now in my guest bedroom).

Cabinets also built a custom bar for another one of my friends. There are some pictures of that on his website but I am not sure what he charged for that or what my friend paid but it looks fantastic and my friend was extremely happy with the end product.

I am so impressed with
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
. First, he had the knowledge of what was wrong with my cabinets. Then when he and his team came to do the work, it turned out to be a much harder job than either of us expected. Then, it got worse: one of his men accidentally cut into a gas line in the kitchen. But it could have happened to anyone, and what so impressed me about
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and his company was how steadfast they were about getting the gasline repair done so they could finish their work. The true measure of a company and a craftsman is how they act when the situation goes badly;
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
came through with flying colors, and I'm grateful. I would recommend them to anyone — and I would hire them again.

Tarwat and his crew were WONDERFUL!! Always on time, everything clean when they left for the day, communication was excellent, and they were always cheerful and easy to work with. There was a delay between the initial consultation and the beginning of work because, being extremely particular, it took me a long time to decide on the final color of the finish (it had to go with my stone countertops perfectly!) Tarwat was very patient and helpful, contributing excellent suggestions; several samples were done and left with me to consider and when I decided they still weren't quite right he arranged for me to go to the shop where they were mixed and, working with the technician there, came up with the perfect custom color and finish (not too shiny, not too dull). Once my decisions were made, they began work immediately (with one or two breaks due to my schedule - they were very accommodating). Demo was neat and quick, they did a great job of taping off and covering to keep the rest of the house clean, prep and repair was equally neat and quick, and the job was finished on time. They were also careful about leaving doors and gates shut so my dog didn't escape. Throughout the process Tarwat was always available for questions and consultations, returning my calls and texts promptly and coming to the site to check progress or when needed. Communication with
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
, head of the crew, was very easy. After the job, as always, there were a few small things that still needed to be taken care of and they were done quickly and at my convenience. The kitchen looks BEAUTIFUL!
I would HIGHLY AND WITHOUT RESERVATION RECOMMED Tarwat and his company,
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
. We have had a lot of work done on our home over the years and this was by far the best experience we have had. We were so happy with the process and results that we have requsted estimates for some futher projects.
Thanks, Tarwat and

! Looking forward to the next job!

Out of all of the contractors I worked with,
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was one of the best. He was professional, open, had great ideas regarding the cabinets. We thought his price was fair given the amount and quality of work-its honestly almost like we have new cabinets. when we hit a snag when our fridge wouldnt fit under our existing cabinets.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was able to help cut/remodel the existing cabinets so as to save us from having to return the fridge or have brand new boxes built. Overall, we are very happy with
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
work and would gladly refer him/use him again.
