The provider has not responded to my email of 8/18/2014. Both of the telephone numbers, listed on the provider's website, are no longer functioning. The email address, provided on the website, is still active, as evidenced by the fact that my email went through. I would like for Angie's List to confirm whether, or not, this vendor is still in business.

I contacted
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
via their online contact form looking for a quote on refinishing our kitchen cabinets.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
called me a day or so later and we set an appointment for the following Wednesday morning at 8:30 a.m.
That Wednesday I received a text message from
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
saying that she had to move our appointment to that afternoon because she was closing on another job that morning and had to do a walk through. She said she was thinking 1:00. In my experience, a vendor would have known that they would be done with a job and have scheduled a walk through more than an hour before doing walking through. There was no apology for the inconvenience or inquiry as to what time might work with my schedule. I told her that we were not available that afternoon. She replied a few hours later saying that she needed to look at her calendar but she was thinking Friday morning.
She didn't get back to me to let me know if that was going to work or not, so Thursday evening I texted her back saying that I hadn't heard anything so we would cancel our appointment. She replied with "I said friday morning." I let her know she never followed back up with me after needing to check her calendar and, with no apology for the inconvenience of canceling on me with only one hour's notice, that we were not interested in working with a company that lacked customer service and that we were canceling our appointment. These are the responses I received: "Check my testimonials..my service is superior. Thank you!" and then "I told you I needed to cancel. Thats fine..you seem very impatient."
I am appalled at how unprofessionally this company has acted. Had
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
at least been apologetic for canceling or even attempted to take my schedule into account instead of simply telling me the time that she would be coming per her availability, I would have been more understanding. To top it off, becoming argumentative and rude when I decided to cancel was completely uncalled for. I will never work with
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
nor recommend them to anyone else.

We are Extremely pleased with the job that
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
did for us and the outcome of our new kitchen.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
knew exactly what we were looking for from the second he met with us and started talking through our wish list.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was extremely detail oriented, punctual and explained exactly what he was doing each step of the way. I got quotes from three other contractors and
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was about half the cost of the others and he showed the most personal interest in doing the job right.
We are grateful for the job that he did and have recommended him to anyone considering a change to their kitchen or bathroom cabinets.

I did not expect miracles, we have an OLD floor. I believe they over estimated the effectiveness of their service. They were very nice and worked hard. It is now about 3 years and the finish is peeling in some spots.

Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was a pleasure to work with, and his guys were extremely good as well. They were prompt, professional, and really knew what they were doing. It's clear that this is a top-notch company that takes pride in their work. I have already given their name to several neighbors who are thinking about having their kitchens updated. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
I should note that I first consulted with Home Depot to do this job, but the price they gave me was higher, and they did not have the same range of materials available to give me the counter top I wanted (surprising, right?) I'm so glad that I came to Angie's List and found this company. Best decision I made in this whole renovation process. I am so happy with my new kitchen!

I was very pleased with both the result, and with the company itself.
The cabinets look great. They took the fronts of the cabinets/drawers for about 2 weeks, and painted them off site. They returned for one day, and painted all the surfaces that could not be removed. The cabinets are very smooth, including doors that had glass. I don't think you could tell that they were spray painted. Somehow, they taped off everything so that they were able to paint all kinds of surfaces (including custom wood paneling on our refrigerator) without any overspray.
I had one other bid for a similar amount from another highly ranked angie's list company, but
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
promised to be faster doing the in-house painting, so I went with them.
This company was also very professional to work with. For example, we were leaving on an airplane trip on the day they did the in-house painting. They seemed happy to show up at 6:30 am, when we were departing, so I made plans to meet them, but emphasized that we would need to leave at 6:30 am. Mr.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
showed up outside our house at 6:10pm, and waited patiently outside until 6:25am when we handed things off to him and left. I think that punctuality was reflective of the overall experience. Overall, they were punctual, professional, and detail oriented and I would use them again.

Perfect results! Very high quality work and very professional with attention to detail. Makes our forty year old house look like new. This was our third experience with
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
, because of wonderful results on previous jobs, including interior paint with drywall repairs, trim and kitchen cabinets, and hardwood floor refinishing. Will definitely use them for any future work because of the attention to detail and quality of work. We dealt mostly with
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and feel perfectly comfortable trusting his judgement and integrity. Would definitely recommend them for superior results.

From the project estimation phase to the final sweep.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and his assistant were skilled, courteous and professional you will not find a better craftmanship quality like
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
Transformation. Frankly, we have encountered very few contractors that we could say that about. The project was estimated properly so it was clear that
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and his father Housa was listening to what we had to say, and there were no surprises when the project actually kicked off. The craftsmanship above and beyond and we never got the impression that he was in over his head. We were informed daily on the status of the project.
Finally, and this might seem like a small thing to some but it was important to us, they never left a single day without cleaning up after themselves. While living through a construction project is always challenging,
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and his assistant made it much easier than we expected.
Give these guys a shot. You won't regret it!

Although the color looks very nice (off white), the job was done sloppily. The paint processed promised does not hold up as it has already started to chip in many places. One coat of paint or primer was applied in a zigzag manner and it shows through.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
insisted they were just shadows, but it is there day and night on the entire project. They cannot possibly be shadows. He clearly took a short cut. Additionally, several handles were installed crooked by about an inch, which puts them at an angle, so very noticeable. The hinges were not adjusted correctly so the door hinge hits the box hinge when opening, leaving it to chip on the side of the door. Many spots were missed in the painting process, and I was only left less than ¼ can of spray paint (this is a spray process only).
The job was completed on June 27, 2014. I informed
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
on June 30, 2014 of the above problems. We arranged for him to come by
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
3 at 10 a.m. He was running late, and since my husband and I were going out of town that afternoon we rescheduled for
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
7 at 10 a.m.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
never showed nor did he call. I called him the next day and left a voice mail. No response. On Friday of that week, I sent a message through his website. No response. Since that time I have called every week, with voice box full for four calls (although I do know he still knows you’ve called because he has returned previous calls to me when his box was full), and was able to leave messages four times. To date, I have heard absolutely nothing from
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
. Clearly, once he gets paid he ignores his customers. He will claim he is “busy”. So what! I paid in full and expected a professional job. I did not get that. I would not recommend him, but if you do decide to go with him, I would hold back several hundred dollars from the final payment until you can go through and check everything closely a few days later, not on the spot.

We converted our old colonial-style cabinets to the shaker style.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
did not have the lowest price out of the 3 bids; but we were impressed by
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
Stock's knowledge of the all the intricacies of applying new facings and with his description of all the various techniques that he and his installers use to create a like-new appearance with a straight-from-the-factory look and style. In addition we appreciated all the suggestions that he had for "completing" the job with items that we had not considered.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was even able to offer a variety of tinting for the finishes that we chose. His hardware choices were pretty complete. After taking all the measurements, they completed most of the work in their shop and took only a couple of days of on-site application. We accommodated the work by moving our cars out of the garage during the daytime so they could "set up shop" in our garage.
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
brings all the materials and construction essentials in a trailer which they parked in our driveway. I'm still not sure how they got everything in that trailer. Everything fit to a "T." Apart from the craftmanship on the cabinets themselves, the primary distinguishing feature of
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
's work is the project management which is top notch. I guess, actually, that is equal to the overall professionalism and courtesy. The obvious down side to this type of project is the loss of full use of the kitchen for a few days. We were able to access the kitchen and use the sink,
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
, and microwave oven and, of course, make the morning coffee. We paid the standard half down and the remainder after we were satisfied with whole job. After
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
said it was done, though, we had no issues to address. Even after it was a "done deal,"
Providence Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
followed up by phone to see how we liked it. It looks like brand new cabinets. We couldn't be happier.
