has an eye for detail and understood what I was after. He is very pleasant and personable and I felt very comfortable leaving him unattended at my home. I am very happy with the outcome.
This came through in the bidding process and was the reason for selecting him - though I almost went with someone else due some lack of responsiveness on questions i was asking to clarify the bid. I was worried about potential flakiness on the job as a result of this. However it wasn't a problem once the job started.
He seemed to start slow and it took a little longer to complete the job than originally expected. This did not bother me as it was a fixed bid though this may have caused some rushing towards the end. It also meant for some late evening working (until 9:30pm one night) which is not what I was expecting - it caused more upheaval in our days as a result. does seem to prefer starting a little later and working later than my normal experience with contractors.
The lack of responsiveness has resurfaced on a quote I asked for on additional small jobs."

through our garage. He was pleasant, prompt and gave helpful advice.
Because the car was still in (and sticking through the side of) the
garage, he could only give me a preliminary estimate which was
considerably lower than the others I had received. I went with another
contractor because of 's distance from our house and the price
disparity, but he left me with a positive impression and I would
consider him for other work."

"We had a very good experience with . Jozo is responsive, professional and does incredibly good work. He pays attention to detail and puts in as much time as it takes to get the job done well. We called for an estimate and he was able to schedule something as soon as it fit into our schedule. He was very specific in the services he would be providing and worked with us to get the job done in the time frame we had hoped for. He is very trusting and I felt comfortable with him around my home and my family. He was also very good with our pet dog. We are very happy with the work that was done and everything he did to coordinate that process. We would definitely hire again in the future."

"I called Sundance because of the great reviews from Angie's List. They looked like a company I wanted to work with, and based on the pictures of their work, I thought they did great work. I set up a time for to come out and take a look at the house. We were off to a great start, because he was willing to come by the house within a couple days.
clearly has had lots of experience working on houses like mine. Built in 1912 and needed many updates. As we were discussing what needed to be done, he had great suggestions based on his experience which is exactly what I was looking for. He even gave me tips on how to save money on some of the remodel.
The problem arose when said he would send over the estimate in a couple days. I didn't hear from him for four days, so I decided to call. I left him a voicemail indicating the estimate must not have come through when he tried to send it (giving him the benefit of the doubt), and to resend it and give me a call (I left him both contacts again). Three more days went by with no estimate and no phonecall. So I sent him another message through Anglie's List. Still no call or estimate. I'm not sure what happened to ...if the job is one he decided he didn't want to work on, or if I am someone he would rather not work with. Either way would have been fine, I just expect more out of a professional. When someone hires me to do something, I always follow up and have clear lines of communication through the process, and because of that I hope for the same from others.

"The are terrific! They have been working for me for about a year as I am finishing/redoing a number of items on my 1908 house. and Bill are very detail-oriented and great problem-solvers with a good design sense; they have matched the style and materials of my vintage house and completed each project on time. So far they have built in two closets with custom shelving and completed two bathrooms with a lot of tile. They are really beautiful!
In addition, and Bill have corrected the pitch and resurfaced a deck with natural stone, have rebuilt the wooden front entry stairs and handrails, and have poured new cement walkways and stairs, as well as a long driveway. They were very careful with my plants and even kept the dirt clean! and Bill clean up the work site every day and haul away the debris immediately.
and Bill have installed seventeen new double-glazed windows and hired a subcontractor to insulate all the exterior walls (and a ceiling) on two floors of the building. I have had electrical, plumbing, and heating system problems, and all of the subs that they have brought to my house have been excellent, as well as respectful. I recommend these gentlemen highly for their integrity, honesty, and ecological awareness. "

"I, had come to my retail lumber yard, to discussed the problems with the entrance. I had, large poured concrete stepping stones that had lifted or settled with time. additionally at the entrance there was a negative slope with no drain.
We expanded our discussion out to an additional display area, and the inside sales office. We discussed the issues of demolition and construction in a operating facility, price and time line.
, started and were here everyday, , said they would be. This job start to finish was about two weeks long. Demolition, setting forms multiple pours, waiting, washing, staining, engraving, and sealing. The crew were busy at all times, friendly and understood that this is a operating business.
I could not be happier with the job. , delivered on all we had discussed and more. the counter top was a last minute add on, and the company Logo was a product of . had recently purchased the equipment for concrete engraving. engraved the company logo in the stained concrete in the office, Super cool!

" was truly amazing throughout the project. He showed up right away, was extremely knowledgable, and even helped to improve the design of our remodel. He started on time and performed most of the work by himself with one other worker. They worked very fast and very clean. At any time, we could fully trust him, and greatly enjoyed this collaboration, since he made us feel like family. In fact, he remodeled our house as if it was his own. If something unexpected came up (e.g., dry rot) he repaired it right away. When we wanted to have a long support beam moved inside the ceiling to not obstruct the view, he met with the inspector and came up with a sound approach to make this difficult task happen. He never charged an extra for his extra efforts, except when we added some major items, such as an outdoor gas fireplace. He also helped other workers that we hired independently (e.g., to install a geothermal heating system), and did not charge us for his help. His strength is framing, which he can do very fast, and all beams line up just perfect. He even installed an 8x8' glass sliding door, and the frame that he prepared was a perfect fit. We have had prior experience with unqualified workers and contractors. was better than we could ever hope for, and his pricing is honest and very reasonable. Sometimes, works and talks a 100 miles an hours, which could give the impression that he doesn't pay attention or that he may forget things that he quickly notes on a piece of paper. I quickly learned that he has an amazing memory, did forget a thing, and that he is very organized. So don't get confused if he appears less professional than some of the big remodel companies and rest assured that he knows everything about his profession! He walked us through the hole project and kept us informed on the progress at any time. We can't wait to have him do the next project on our house."

"The experience overall was great. I love that they reuse what they can and even recycle the concrete. Responsiveness was the only thing really lacking. I had to follow-up several times before and during the process to find out what was going on. I have patience though and wasn't on a strict timeline, so it worked out well."
