"Everything went very smoothly. The salesman arrived on time, explained the system and how it worked in a way that was easy to understand and was very good about" discussing with me different options for where the system could be installed. The actual installation also went very well. The installer was polite, professional and completed things quickly. I'm very happy with the whole experience.

"The technician who did the tank explained their process in easy to understand terms, answered all my questions, and had a friendly and helpful" demenor. He even answered questions about city rules and working with DEQ. My one frustration was with the billing but after alone short phone call it was all sorted out. I think they had some new staff in the office.

Radon Testing reviews in Portland

Halden came out to look over the house and discuss location options for the system. A few weeks later, the installation guy cayme out and did an excellent job of installing the system in about 4 hours. The electrical contractor also did excellent work. Their workmanship, punctuality, and work ethic were great to see.

Very helpful and responsive from initial work proposal phase through tank decomissioning process. We were kept well informed of each step of this complex job. Work was performed on time and on budget. Tank decomissioning was a requirement for us to move ahead with sale of our home. adjusted their work schedule to meet our tight ...More deadline. Staff were uniformly polite and patiently explained what they were doing as work progressed. Very careful to protect surrounding landscape and patio from tank work area.

recently installed a radon mitigation system for us at an older home that we purchased. explained to me the benefits of installing a radon mitigation system to reduce the radon levels in our home to comply with EPA safety standards. The radon level in our home was too high--causing a health hazard for ...More our family.
proposed placing the radon mitigation system on the side of our home in such a way that the system isn’t visible from the
street. So the radon mitigation system isn’t noticeable to the casual observer.
and a co-worker installed the mitigation system that includes vent pipes and an exhaust fan to vent the radon gas from our home.
They were very professional, efficient, and completed the work in a timely manner.
The work is excellent. The mitigation was successful. The radon level is now safe for us, and the exhaust fan is very quiet. The cost of the work included all permits, fees, disposal, and air monitoring required by state and federal agencies.

This is the second time I've worked with , in addition to having them complete a seismic retrofit on my home. Everyone I've interacted with at has been highly professional, courteous, timely, and knowledgeable. The radon mitigation system they installed successfully reduced radon levels in ...More the home, and the crew worked with us to install the system in a location was appropriate, both aesthetically and functionally. is one of the best contractors I've worked with, and I would highly recommend them.

Cascade put in a radon remediation system into my basement. This company seems to really know their business and is priced very fair.
CJ did the work and was professional, polite, and efficient. I knew that this remediation system relies on creating a vacuum under the foundation to draw the radon out, so I made sure that CJ knew there was a cut ...More out of about 1.5x1.5ft in the foundation where the basement bath tub pea trap was. The wall next to the tub is presently open, giving access to the foundation cut out. CJ took care of this easily with some hardening foam that will allow for that needed vacuum, but that can be removed if there is ever a plumbing issue. He went the extra mile laying some metal mesh down before adding that foam, since I had a concern about little critters some day tunneling up through that foundation break. I was grateful for this. I would highly recommend this company for radon remediation.

Never in my life have I experienced professionalism to this degree of perfection. From the first meeting to the final installation, my interaction with every member of the team was A+. I am just simply amazed at how happy everyone is and how eager they are to put forth such a great effort to comfort me as a homeowner facing high ...More radon and the impact a new system would have on the house.
It wasn't easy to come up with a solution to install piping on the exterior of the house that would be the least obvious from the street, but they took the time to figure it out with me until we found the best location. And when it came time to install the piping on the inside, they went out of their way to find the least obvious place drilling a perfect hole into the travertine tile, basically making it disappear. Amazing. The quality of the products they chose to work with are just as impressive. I asked for no PVC, just assuming they would use it, but they were already one step ahead of me, opting for a higher quality, more eco friendly material.
These guys are problem solvers, engineers, patient, kind, friendly, professional, proud, and a standard of class we should all aspire to be. Simply the best. Thank you!

was excellent to work with, especially because the job they did on my house had a couple of surprises. When they came to bid, they were great about explaining what the install would look like on the inside of the basement and the outside of the house, and they worked with me to cleverly figure out a way to hide the fan under ...More my back porch. This reduced both what could be seen and heard after the install was complete. They also routed the exterior vent pipe along the side of the house in a way that it would be from view from most .
The initial install went very smoothly, but when they came back a couple days later to check the radon levels, they were still too high. So they had to add a second suction point through the basement floor next to the plumbing stack and connect the exhaust to the initial suction pipe. This did the trick, and they did not charge anything extra for it. Very soon afterwards, I realized the fan was not running all the time like it was supposed to, so they replaced it quickly. Everything has been running well since then, and I'm very happy with their work.

Pretty smooth job. There was one extra day needed for install, as the worker was called away for a family emergency. Someone else came later in the day and picked up the ladder and equipment. Then the original installer returned and finished the next day. He explained his pipe routing in the crawl space and showed me how to check the system. ...More At completion he found a small air leak at the base of the pipe and he closed the gap with extra concrete. Electrician was prompt and informative and identified a separate plumbing issue needing attention. I was satisfied that they were thorough and professional.
