"I was in a hurry to move, there was some discrepancy with the landlord on when I had to move out and had less than 24 hours to pack and move. I called begging for help and they were available the next morning.
The price was reasonable and the service was good. I needed their help moving boxes and furniture from a second story apartment.
As far as the move went, it was pleasant working with them, the only thing they could improve upon was the time. We had an agreed upon moving time and they called and asked if they could come earlier. Any other time I would have appreciated them wanting to get started with the job, but on this day I was not packed and ready for movers. It put me in a sticky predicament but it worked out okay and I was thankful for their help.

" Movers were very clear about costs and services included when I called to make arrangements for the move. We chose their flat price for our move to Bend. They also offer an Angie's list discount. They were helpful in offering tips on packing (we did our own) and where to get the best price on boxes and which boxes worked best for electronics, etc.
The day of the move they called to let us know they were running about 15 minutes late due to traffic. Upon arrival they went over the logistics of the day once again. The movers were polite and very careful. One group was responsible for loading the truck in Portland and a different group met us in Bend to do the unloading. Nothing was damaged: everything went exactly as planned.
Moving is exhausting but Movers made it as painless as possible."

"Our move went extremely well; both workers were polite, careful, and very quick. The pricing was more then fair. I honestly couldn't believe the value. I gave the company two weeks notice and they were able to accomodate both my desired day and time for the move. Great work all!"

"The day of our move, 5 men, , , Javerire, Accensio and arrived at about 8 AM. Since I made a call the day before to , 's Assistant, and requested a little extra help to finish what I wasn't able to accomplish, they sent an extra person. The crew leader, , asked me to do a walk-thru the house and answer some questions. He then directed the flow of what was to be done. Everyone knew their job and worked calmly, quickly and efficiently being especially respectful of us, our possession and home. They prepped the floors, and wooden railings with heavy blankets and tape, to ensure that nothing would be damaged. Moving is not any easy thing and yes I was fairly organized, but I have never moved and left to get lunch, knowing everything was being handled well. Upon returning home, the crew was just loading the last of the boxes. We did a walk thru to make sure everything had been removed. That ended day one, about 3:00 PM..
Day two, bright and early they arrived at our new home and began the unloading process. I can't imagine it easier. Of course we were surrounded by boxes, but our furniture was all placed as we asked, our storage closet filled with our over-flow and locked by one of the movers They were out the door by Noon.
The estimate, was slightly lower than the actual cost, but that was the result of my needing extra help on moving day, in addition to the packing supplies."

"I strongly recommend the team. This is the second time I've used them and have never been disappointed. They took great care of everything. They were professional. They always followed up when they said they would. The care and attention to every detail is amazing. You won't go wrong with . They are worth every penny."

" got right back to me after I left a message. We were able to schedule a time for early the next week. and Bill came out, they were right on time. They were great. They were very careful with all my stuff, and did a good job keeping all the parts of the shelves that they disassembled for me organized so I could label them and organize them for later. Would definitely use again, for this or for other services."

"This is the same review I place on YELP:
Recently moved back to Portland after a number of years in Pasadena thanks to the help of these guys.
Had 5 in-home estimates done down there, but after worrying about the timing for the arrival of our things along with the fact that most of the lines we were talking to don't make regular trips to the NW, we got in touch with NW Relocation.
The fact that they couldn't physically do an in-home inspection was the most difficult part of the process. They had to take my word for the amount of lbs we thought we had (to be safe, I gave them the highest number from my in-home estimates) and in turn gave me a very good price and the assurance they'd be in Portland by the day we needed them to.
The movers themselves were excellent (Tally and ). Really great guys. Smart, capable and fast without being careless...plus they were more than willing to entertain my small daughters' moving industry curiosities. Only problem was when they arrived they thought our stuff would weigh in at 1,400 - 2,000 lbs more than what our estimate was for. The driver suggested (and I hope it was not nefariously) that I pay for cubic feet rather than lbs to save money. My quote at that point jumped $1,200.
I was a bit p*****, but stood my guns and suggested I doubted that all 5 of my in-home estimates had purposely under-priced me in hopes of earning my business. After a number of back and forth calls between the driver and owner ( ?) in Hebrew (I wish I had a translator), things seemed to be fine. They packed up and after making a couple other So stops, headed north with our belongs.
I was feeling a little off-kilter wondering if I might actually have shot myself in the foot. What if our things actually did weigh so much more than I thought? Needless to say, the thought of paying $1,200 or more than I had originally budgeted for made sleeping that night difficult.
Meanwhile though, we set North in our vehicle. Soon after, thankfully called to let us know that our things actually weighed in at 400 lbs less than our original estimate. Hallelujah!!! Turns out we saved a couple hundred bucks from what we had budgeted.
They actually beat us to Portland, getting there late Friday while we got there Saturday afternoon (we left Thursday, but had to pause a bit due to some serious pass stormage). called us a couple times to see where we were. He said he didn't want to have to pay the driving team overtime and would have to charge me if we didn't make it in time. I called BS on that, saying we never said we'd be at the home at any specific time -- in fact they had said if we didn't make it there Saturday, they'd hold our things behind lock and key and happily deliver on Sunday. Turns out we got there right at the end of 's "overtime" window and the same team (plus one) from Pasadena were there to unload. And once again...they absolutely killed it (in a good way of course)!
I'm sure everyone's moving experience is different. Ours was not without tons of stress and wondering if our things were safe and secure and that we weren't getting totally scammed somehow (some business just feel that way don't they). That said, things worked out extremely well for us.
I would use NW Relocation again and hardily recommend them to anyone moving points north or south on the west coast, or within Portland itself (just try and get that in-home inspection / weight thing nailed down the best you can).
BTW --- MY PRICE ABOVE INCLUDES $300 TIP."

"The office promptly called as a result of my e-mail inquiry and we arranged for an in-house estimate. I obtained four estimates and aAlthough was not the least expensive, I selected the company because was very responsive, always reachable and I found the same to be true for the office and for the driver, , who provided me his cell on moving day prior to starting the trip. Everyone was professional, the move went very smoothly. EVerything arrived on-time as promised, contents intact with nothing broken or damaged. Tthe unpacking team on the Portland side was also great. Would recommend this company to anyone for a long-distance move."

"It went well. They were slightly late but called to let me know and then went right to work. They completed it under estimated time and cost. There was no damage to any of my stuff or my house. I would use them again in a heart beat."

"Forget that personnel are outfitted in cool t-shirts. This outfit provided more than cool service and communication from start to finish. When we were reviewing moving companies, I was sure we'd end up with one of the big guys. Then we heard from . My wife just liked the sound of the guy when they talked by phone, and I easily agreed when he came to the house for an estimate. When that came in at a more than competitive price, we decided to give them a shot. Excellent communication from day one, and was totally involved and accessible. The crew sent to was first rate, professional and personable to a man. Same goes for the crew who delivered our stuff to the new house in Portland. Yes, one wine glass arrived broken, but that's just one glitch out of a 3,200 sq ft house full of furniture. Additionally, involved himself in solving a minor dispute with the Portland crew, and all was resolved more than quickly. In all, a great moving experience, if any moving experience can be called "great.""
