"Update:  I spoke to at customer service on 5/3/11.  She told me that she would submit my complaint regarding the length of time I waited, the excessive charges and the fact that the technician was mis-informed about insurance company reimbursements.  She told me I would hear back within 48-72 hours. As of 5/10/11, ...more I had not heard back from the company, so I called again.  I spoke to

, who stated he was the supervisor of the customer service department.  I again explained my complaint.  After some searching, he found the response to my complaint, which stated that the costs were reasonable and standard (I looked in the technicians receipt book - I probably looked at 25 receipts, and there was not one other receipt with charges over $110).  They also stated that the technician had been late on other calls and had been suspended and likely would be fired.  I told

that I wanted at least $65 back based on excessive charges and the 90 minutes I waited (because the company mis-informed me of their timelines, which allowed them to make me wait extensively without calling a different locksmith). 

told me that he would re-submit for the refund and would call me back before 1pm on 5/11/11. 

has never called back (it is 5/18)."

"Called them Monday morning and they suggested a Tuesday morning appointment. They were 5 minutes late, but worked hard and performed the work efficiently. They did have to run to Tualatin to get some parts, which was inconvenient. Both doors work fine and the price was reasonable."

"Called to repair or replace broken deadbolt. Agreed to come on Saturday since we both work. Plus, because he "couldn't accomodate us during normal hours" he stated he would not charge us extra for working on the weekend. He arrived on time and, as it turned out, prepared for anything. "Called for a locksmith when found the sliding door no longer locked correctly. Selected this company because of rating on Angie's list and close proximity to my home. Call was taken by and within four hours a professional named had arrived, put in a new lock and was on his way. "As always, A Good Locksmith was fantastic. we've used them for years, and were pleased to use them again. We needed to have a house re-keyed. (the owner) does not make house-calls, but he sends out wonderful locksmiths who do. The locksmith we worked with explained everything he was doing as he worked, went over other security ...more options (strike plates, etc), and made great copies of the new key. I would imagine that A Good Locksmith is a little more expensive than the discount guys, but it's worth it. They use very high quality locks, and are extremely meticulous. I would recommend them to anyone."

"Called late on a Thursday and got the time we wanted for Monday morning. Killed me to spend money on a lock that should have lasted longer than 5 years.... but they did the job nicely.
