"I had called to get an estimate for yard clean up with contract for regular maintenance and gave permission for the areas to be looked at while I was at work. I received a call the following morning with the estimate for the work requested and for continued maintenance. I was told that the work would be done in the next week, and would be squeezed in between other jobs due to weather, and the length of grass. I came home the following day to find that the work had already been done. I received a follow up visit the next morning to be sure I was happy with the work, and finalized plans for continued work. "I called twice last year in June 2010 and was told twice that

would call me back to set up a time to come and look at the yard work I needed done and give me an estimate. Never got a return call. Then this year (May 2011) I decided to try one more time because of his close location to me and the overall recommendations submitted by others. I called and was told that

would be out at my place at 6pm that night to give me an estimate. Never showed, no phone call. I called the office at 7pm and was told by whoever answered the phone, "Didn't anyone call you to let you know he wouldn't be able to make it?" No.... Then I was rescheduled for the next evening at 6pm. He did not arrive on time but I did receive a call at 6:15pm that he was running late. He finally arrived at 6:45pm and walked thru the yard with me with clipboard in hand and told me he would call me in the morning with an estimate. That was a WEEK ago - still have not received a call from him. Needless to say, I contacted another yardman on Angie's List who is currently doing the work I needed done. He showed up on the day I called him to check out the work I wanted done, sent me an estimate that night, and showed up with his crew on time on the day we had scheduled. Would not recommend

to anyone."

Except for some small issues regarding timing, and an accidental digging into my oil line, I was happy with the work they did. It was beautiful. HOWEVER, he needed to be reminded several times of projects I had asked to have completed.; his crew sometimes wouldn't come when they said they would; he lost the contract we had agreed to more than once; and, in retrospect, some of the work that was done, wasn't done well. For example, the invasive grass and dandelions they removed weren't removed deeply, and have regrown. Some of the plants they planted have died. The bulbs in my front bed they promised to dig gently around didn't come up this spring. My biggest gripe is that they promised monthly maintenance as part of our contract. They haven't shown or returned my calls. My new plantings are dying or dead, the grasses have returned, the irrigation system they installed needs to be turned on, etc. They took the money but haven't fulfilled their contract. (This may be due to the fact that

has been ill, though I have no way of knowing, and for that I'm very sorry. He's a nice guy. I expect someone from his team to fulfill his promises, though, even when he can't.)"
