Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
is an excellent landscaper, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him and his team again. He was prompt, courteous and quite congenial, making it easy to discuss details and complications of the project. He has a real eye for landscaping, is attuned to property owners' needs, and made several helpful suggestions during his initial visit. Because the work was along a property line, he wanted to make sure the affected neighbor was cool with the project. He provided a comprehensive, itemized and reasonable quote via email. When we'd decided to hire him, he promptly came back on a second visit to clarify details of the work, and although a few things had to be added and/or tweaked, we were able to stick with the original quoted price. The project was initially scheduled to start the first week of April, but due to heavy rain actually started half a week later. Once they got going,

's crew got the work done in approx. 3 days, impressing many of our neighbors -- this job would have taken me all summer. Partway through the job, he discovered an unanticipated drainage situation that impinged on the neighbor's property, and in negotiation with the neighbor we came up with a mutually satisfactory, economical, and attractive solution.

did a walk through with us at end of project, and again had lots of helpful, useful ideas for how to enhance the site. The completed project has generated a lot of spontaneous compliments from neighbors.

"In the fall of 2010 we decided to address an erosion project in our backyard.  After receiving bids from seven landscaping contractors, we selected
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
to undertake the work.  The landscaping project consisted of significant vegetation clearing and soil excavation, construction of a 70 foot long retaining wall, introduction of large volumes of gravel and topsoil, and concrete path fabrication.  We found the company’s owner,
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
Dang, extremely thoughtful and approachable.  He helped us develop a creative project design and scope that was mindful of our budget.  Further,
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
constantly kept us informed of the project timeline and development steps.  His employees are highly skilled, dedicated, and completed the project in the midst of the most unfavorable weather conditions.  We could not be more satisfied with the quality of their work, cost controls, and professionalism.  In sum, we strongly recommend
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
and would gladly hire them again.

"Excellent communications throughout the project from the estimate process through the final inspection. The workers were friendly, very hard working, paid attention to detail, asked questions when needed, punctual, and courteous.  The workspace was always clean at the end of the day and the workers always let me know what the plan was for the next day. "

"Although I ultimately chose another contractor to do the job, the decision was a very difficult one to make.
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
was extremely helpful in reviewing the issues connected to the job (edging material, a different approach to the patio materials, others complications to the job), and communicated with me several times, both in person and via email regarding different options. He and another contractor presented bids that were quite close in price. Even though I decided to use the other contractor, had that contractor's bid not been available, I would have had no hesitation in hiring

"I was very impressed.
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
responded to the request for bid almost instantaneously and was prompt with communication throughout. He understood exactly what we wanted to do and even improved on the original plan by getting the fenceposts closer to the retaining wall than I expected. His price was highly competitive with the other bids we got. I would not hesitate to ask

for help on future projects.

"Wow! They were great.
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
made sure he understood my vision for my yard and was able to translate that into a fabulous look. I was extremely happy with their crew as they were polite, efficient and neat. They communicated well with me to make sure I was getting exactly the patios and irrigation I wanted. I've worked with a lot of landscaping companies and they are the best I've encountered. I've already hired them to do some more work for me."

"I can't say enough positive things about these folks. To begin with, it's such a treat to be able to work with one company so skilled with the plant and design aspect of a garden, who can also execute the most beautiful hardscapes (patios, walkways, fences, gates, etc.). Grace, the designer, has an encyclopedic knowledge of plants and their characteristics and has really excelled at translating our wishes and needs into beautiful showcase gardens that never fail to attract passerby's. She has been quite supportive of educating us in being able to take care of our personal garden, but her company has also done an excellant job of maintaining and caring for the gardens at our investment properties as well.

, the hardscape guy, has helped us design several beautiful and lasting structures, including a gate and retaining wall. I saw someone who gave them a negative review for price, and i have to say that while they are certainly not the cheapest guys in town, they hands down offer the most value for the money in terms of the caliber of design, professionalism of execution and quality of workmanship than any contractor i work with. Wish i could say the same of all the contractors i employ!

"Initially,
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
gave us a timeline of 2 weeks. But it actually took more than 4 weeks almost. Mind you, this was not because his crew slacked or anything. It was because of the heavy rain last year that sometimes stopped the work. ANd secondly, we ran into a materials problem. Initial goal was to make the retaining walls using the same material as the existing ones. But, that material was not going to be enough for two walls. So,
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
recommended we buy new material. He came with me to the vendor, helped pick the stone etc. It did cost me more money than planned, but this was a surprise to use both. Plus, the extra money went into buying supplies, not to

's team.
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
's crew was very dilligent. THey worked everyday and mostly through rain delays.
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
would come on site almost every day, inspecting the crew, guiding daily work etc. He was also very readily available during the entire project. He was very upfront about pricing on different things and gave us very good suggestions. We went with him to the nursery to pick plants and he took time to answer our questions, discuss what will be the right type of plant to go on what side of house etc. My only 'minor' complain, and I did told him at the end of the project, is he should make the design of paver/walkways first on paper, discuss with client before actually doing the job. What happened was with the type of pavers we selected, we couldnt get round edges. None of us realized it at the time of material selection, it was only when we were doing it that this came to
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
. He actually had curved walkway work started, and then we had to change it to straight walkway. It doesnt look bad, just that curved ones look nicer! Had we drawn this out on paper before doing it, may be we would have caught this material problem. But that was the only minor problem. I am very happey with
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
's work and his crew's work. He is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and very particular about budget/project plan. Whatever he says in his bid, he delivers. We couldnt be happeier and I will certainly go back to his company again!

"It went very well, the workers were on time each day. They worked in cold wet weather. They cleaned up each day before they left. They were very courteous and friendly. The work was very well done. We had a problem with a tree in the front yard and we had to change our original plan. I wanted to put
Portland Patio Pavers Provider Name Locked
all the way across the front yard but if we cut the tree roots it would have made the tree unstable. They worked very well with me and we came to a nice looking solution. I was very please with their work."

"He is a masterful craftsman, designer and artist. You will not be disappointed. Although, as with most artists your patience will be tried. In the end you will be very happy and have an everlasting piece of art."
