We were very happy with everything and will use
I simply wanted to send Christmas baskets to our most valued clients and assumed that this would be a relatively easy task to handle. When I first spoke with the owner on the phone I inquired if I could mail some handmade cards to be delivered with three of the seven gifts I had ordered. I was assured this would be no problem. I called on a Friday to check if she had received them, she confirmed she had and that the baskets would be delivered the following day. She also stated that some of the product had not come in and if you she could make a few substitutions. As this was her profession and she insisted these minor changes were in fact an upgrade, I agreed.
However, we spoke again the following Monday when she told me that a driver had been experiencing transmission issues that Saturday and her alternate driver was unfamiliar with ALL of the neighborhoods. It was still well before Christmas so I did not take issue. Days went by without delivery. I called again to inquire as to the delay and more and more excuses followed. Finally the orders were delivered with the unfortunate mistake of the cards being sent to the wrong addressees. Had I realized this would be such a difficult request I simply would have mailed them.
AGAIN, I spoke with the owner. She ASSURED me that she would PERSONALLY take care of the problem, to which I accepted. She said she would throw in some extras for the inconvenience to which I agreed, but reminded her not to send chocolates as the clients were diabetic. Although two of the three cards did met their appropriate destinations shortly thereafter, one was still missing. I was not informed that it had not yet arrived until January 6, almost two full weeks after Christmas. I call AGAIN to which her answer entailed blame on the delivery driver (not PERSONALLY handled as promised), her trip to a doctor, martyrdom of working late, and her pride that our clients had at least enjoyed the chocolates.
In addition, every time we spoke she promised to call me back. Not once did she ever contact me.
Also, when I saw the basket in person it was much smaller than promised and certainly not worth the $35 and ESPECIALLY not worth the $10 delivery fee.
And finally, I have no way to determine whether the more expensive baskets I ordered online were ever delivered (despite having confirmation numbers that there is no way of checking) save her word, which basically means nothing judging from this experience. I find it odd that not one of the three has commented or thanked our firm, as that is out of character for all, and we are unable to inquire directly as it is unprofessional.
Her guarantee states that if I am not fully satisfied her company will provide a replacement or refund. After all the turmoil and headache. I still requested only a partial refund along with invoices and proof of delivery. This request was sent both by email and via USPS. It has been well over a month since my last letter to which I have seen no credit on my credit card statement nor received any invoices, proof of delivery, or even an apology.
This is, BY FAR, the worst experience I have EVER had with a company in my life. Save yourselves.
