Portland Drywall Contractors Reviews
to what we wanted done and told us what we were asking would be no problem to fix. He called us on the day we settled on for the repair to let us know he was running a little late but he still was very prompt on the time he said he would be there. He talked us through the process he would be doing and covered and taped off all the areas that needed to be and began his magic. He was very responsive to what we wanted and even after working a full day he had to come back as when the drying process happened some of the plaster shrunk and more plaster was needed to fill in the spot. When the job was completed, he was totally correct by saying he could fix the walls for us. They look brand new and with paint on them you could never tell what they were like before.
For the latest job in the attic, they gave an estimate of $3500. The job was complicated by many odd
They are busy. When Amadou came to our place to give us an estimate he said no problem to fit us in, and then when we called a few days later it was actually very tricky to get us on the schedule and we had to adjust our overall schedule to accommodate.
In December 2013 were impressed!
On the 2nd day, they again arrived on time, mud went up fast, and their equipment (BIG fans) helped move the air around. They hung around doing touchup, and sanding what little had dried from earlier that day. There's clearly pride in their workmanship.
On the third day, it was time for the final mud
On the fourth day, almost 800 sq-ft of corners, walls, and ceilings were looking very flat and ready to texture. The texturing guys arrived just moments after the drywallers. As the drywallers completed their finishing touches, the texturing pump/trailer rumbled to life...they protected/taped every window and chimney surface, suited up, and were done merely two hours after arriving. The texturing looked beautiful.
At this point, we're finishing up the 2nd portion of our home. R&K has patiently kept in touch with us, and we're looking forward to completing the 2nd phase of our project, with R&K's team most certainly covering these new walls soon.
a very good bid for a project of this scope. He informed me of the process and told me what to expect with each step along the way. He started with the hot mud and really knocked that texture back. Then came 3 more coats of mud, each smoother than the last. When he finally finished up they were literally perfect. The difference was amazing!! I can't believe a ceiling can actually make that much difference, but it looks so much better now.
The best thing about
We liked his work so much we are having him back to do our kitchen walls and also a small art studio in our backyard. : )
We'd give them a call for future projects to get a bid. were competitive, reasonable, and seemed customer oriented.
