Our house is 50 years old and still had the original breaker boxes--2 zones. The electrical meter had been corroded by water seeping in from the service entrance wire. The work was done over a period of several days. We needed several small sevices as well--installation of a ceiling fan and landscape light as well as replacement of several switches and receptacles. It was a big job, but we now have an updated (and safer) electrical system, including a new meter, all new breakers, a new grounding system and a whole house surge suppressor.
I've used this company on two occasions in the past few years and was happy with their work.
came out and we discussed all the work that needed to be done and what would be involved in each stage. He sent me an estimate and was always available for questions.
did most of the work and was totally organized and efficient.
, in the office, was also responsive to needed schedule adjustments and any questions.

We had a squirrel and rat problem in our attic/crawl space,
and we hired
to clean up the mess, find and plug the entrance holes (after
a professional exterminator had completely failed), and redo all the
insulation.
proposed to install a
drop-down ladder for easier access, put in plywood flooring and
lighting to
make the space useable, replace a noisy and inefficient bathroom fan, and redo
all the tangled wiring. We are delighted
with the result, even though it turned out to be a bigger project than we
originally planned.
is a fastidious perfectionist, for whom sloppy
workmanship is not just unprofessional but downright immoral. His flooring is the sturdiest (and certainly
the most level) in our old house. He is
constantly reconsidering the best way to do the job, and is unsatisfied with
anything short of an A+ performance. He
cleans up meticulously at the end of every day.
He is man of scrupulous integrity (he found an 1888 silver
dollar on one of the rafters, apparently left by a superstitious builder; we
told him to keep it, but he absolutely refused). He insists on sticking to his original bid,
even when the job has taken far longer than anyone anticipated.
He loves to explain what he is doing, and I have learned a lot
from him. He has taught me clever
methods for repairing damaged sheet-rock, tricks for installing electrical
boxes when there is no accessible stud for an anchor, wiring
lighting, and
leveling an uneven floor.
was a pleasure to work with. My only regret is that I feel we exploited
him.

Young, pleasant installer was early - he was anxious to do job. No problem with installation; problem arose afterward when he left. He asked for, and I gave him our old ceiling fan, plus I gave him a $20 tip. Immediately after he left, however, I realized the pull chain was unreachable - except with a ladder! I am tall, so it would have been out of reach to all but a professional basketball player. I called him right away (he'd been gone for 3 minutes). When I explained the problem and asked for a chain extension, he refused to bring one - suggesting that I pick one up at any hardware store. Not a good experience, plus the fan is wobbly.

There was an emergency that caused the contractor to cancel the first appointment. We were notified promptly and new appointment was confirmed. A gift card was also provided to apologize for the unexpected inconvenience. We were extremely satisfied with the work and would use them again for future projects.

It went well. Be ready to start as soon as the electrician walks in. They don't give you time to ask many questions or get an idea of the time it will take to complete the work. Good value, however. And he worked fast.

was very pleasant, professional, neat. he went the extra mile, in securing the fan to wood, where there wasn't any. I have an old dog he had to walk over and a curious cat. He went beyond tolerating, to being friendly with them. I absolutely would recommend him and this company!

Within a day of my inquiry to CTR,
Portland Ceiling Fan Installers Provider Name Locked
came to my house to discuss what needed to be done. Another day and I had his proposal in hand. Response was so much quicker and so much more specific than I’d found for my project that only the estimate, fair and clearly conveyed, was needed to begin to establish the confidence and trust so earned by CTR in the course of this remodel.
In addition to echoing the praise
Portland Ceiling Fan Installers Provider Name Locked
and his gifted craftsmen have received from other satisfied clients ? for overall management, construction skill, the beauty of the tile work, and good client-contractor rapport, what I have to add is what this particular project says about a firm more than a cut above on the ground:

Design ? Short of hiring a designer you’re not likely to end up with a final result so personalized, so in-place, so right for each client. This kitchen and bathroom are in a very modest house. I would have expected prefab this and big-lot that. Instead – and for a relatively modest outlay – I have custom-made cabinets and tiled counters and a shower that set this place apart. No cookies cut here.

Professional Relationship Among Contractors ? Everyone on the project seemed to have implicit respect and trust in
Portland Ceiling Fan Installers Provider Name Locked
and among themselves.

Responding to the Unexpected ? The home is in its seventh decade and had never been remodeled. This presented some rather seldom encountered difficulties. This Old House, and not in a good way. The electrician, plumber and drywall expert were resourceful and found solutions, costs for which were well worth it and added to the value of my house. Without those costs, CTR’s original estimate proved sound.

I would have complete confidence in contracting again with
Portland Ceiling Fan Installers Provider Name Locked
and would urge anyone to do the same.

We used

Service and work exceeded our expectations so when we needed an
electrical contractor to wire and install a new built in ironing board,
we called
