Portland Ceiling Fan Installation And Repair Articles
Ceiling Fan Installation And Repair reviews in Portland
During the process, we were pleased with the professionalism of the guys. They respected our house, keeping it clean, and I felt entirely comfortable having them in the house when we were not there. We were also so happy that, before they got started, one of their guys even took down the hardwired alarm system we had been trying to get the security system company to remove with no success.
However, I had to give them a B for one major reason: in my initial talks with Bill, it was not made clear to me that he would subsidize a portion of the cost of our samples. Since we were on a very tight budget, we only paid for a few samples..... much less than we would have wanted to to be confident in our paint color decision. And of course, when the first color went up (the one for the majority of the house), my heart dropped. We had to change the color which of course meant additional labor charge and additional paint charge. Otherwise, we are happy with our paint job and did appreciate the inclusion of the other services in with our paint job.
I've used this company on two occasions in the past few years and was happy with their work.

workmanship is not just unprofessional but downright immoral. His flooring is the sturdiest (and certainly
the most level) in our old house. He is
constantly reconsidering the best way to do the job, and is unsatisfied with
anything short of an A+ performance. He
cleans up meticulously at the end of every day.
He is man of scrupulous integrity (he found an 1888 silver
dollar on one of the rafters, apparently left by a superstitious builder; we
told him to keep it, but he absolutely refused). He insists on sticking to his original bid,
even when the job has taken far longer than anyone anticipated.
He loves to explain what he is doing, and I have learned a lot
from him. He has taught me clever
methods for repairing damaged sheet-rock, tricks for installing electrical
boxes when there is no accessible stud for an anchor, wiring
leveling an uneven floor.
In addition to echoing the praise
Design ? Short of hiring a designer you’re not likely to end up with a final result so personalized, so in-place, so right for each client. This kitchen and bathroom are in a very modest house. I would have expected prefab this and big-lot that. Instead – and for a relatively modest outlay – I have custom-made cabinets and tiled counters and a shower that set this place apart. No cookies cut here.
Professional Relationship Among Contractors ? Everyone on the project seemed to have implicit respect and trust in
Responding to the Unexpected ? The home is in its seventh decade and had never been remodeled. This presented some rather seldom encountered difficulties. This Old House, and not in a good way. The electrician, plumber and drywall expert were resourceful and found solutions, costs for which were well worth it and added to the value of my house. Without those costs, CTR’s original estimate proved sound.
I would have complete confidence in contracting again with
